Trivia[]
- Andy's birthday occurred in this episode. Timothée Sadowski once stated Andy is the eldest member of the trio since he repeated a year at school. However, it isn't clear if Andy turns 13 or 14 since Sadowski's response to a fan question occurred before the release of this episode.[3]
- While Andy is on his way to his house's rooftop for his surprise birthday party, he hums the chorus of the Ghostforce theme song to himself.
- This episode reveals that the Ghostforce's heroic deeds throughout Manhattan inspire official in-universe merchandise based on them.
- Although it isn't stated within the episode, the official Ghostforce website confirmed that Elastrick caused Marlo's body to turn into rubber for a few seconds before returning to normal.[4]
- Andy still playing with toys despite being in his early teens might be a reference to the Toy Story franchise. The third film features a character also named Andy who wants to hang onto his childhood toys before leaving for college.
- Based on the argument between the Baker siblings, it's implied Liv wants Andy to be treated seriously by their peers since he is the eldest student in their class after he previously failed a grade.
- Ironically, the argument between the Baker siblings occurred because Liv is upset that Andy is acting too "childish" after receiving an action figure for his birthday. Later, Fury gets affected by the titular ghost to act much older, causing trouble for Myst to defeat Agia by herself.
- This is the second episode where Glowboo doesn't participate in a mission despite making an appearance after "Katastroph".
- It's possible that had Glowboo assisted the team, they would have captured Agia much faster. Glowboo is an artificial intelligence android, so he would likely be immune from Agia's hypnotizing power.
- This is the ninth episode where one or more member(s) of the Ghostforce team become affected by a wild ghost's power.
Errors[]
- Although Andy is turning either thirteen or fourteen, the birthday cake shows eleven candles.
- Andy's headphones disappear when his party guests surprise him on the rooftop.
- Carla's party hat would switch designs in between scenes. The hat is normally white with pink stripes like Mrs. Baker's. However, the hat would switch to blue with white spots like Marlo's.
- Andy holds the Fury action figure in his left hand while arguing with Liv on the rooftop. However, when their mother intervenes and suggests they hit the pinata, the action figure disappears.
- Melissa's party hat disappears when she intervenes in her children's argument so they can hit the pinata.
- Marlo doesn't appear when Elastrick is awakened from its nest.
