"Arakgum" is a season 1 episode of the series, Ghostforce. According to the series' production/written order, it is the 8th episode of Season 1, as well as the 8th episode of the series, overall.

- Before the episode's worldwide premiere, Jeremy Zag uploaded two clips from the episode on his Instagram Story on February 5, 2021.
- Before the prologue reveals that Arak's nest is a spider web, the book Professor Pascal was briefly stuck on the web. This foreshadows the ghost's power in the episode.
- A painting of Mr. Vladovsky can be seen in the school library.
- This episode reveals that Asta dislikes spiders. It also reveals that Mike has arachnophobia, a fear of spiders.
- The spider species the class must identify seems to be black widows. The species is known for its venomous bites, so it could explain why Mike is afraid of them.
- This is the second episode in which there's a ghost who previously laid dormant inside a nest at the NYC School library and later attacked the students there. The previous ghost haunting in the library is Mikroo in its titular episode.
- When Andy defends Mike from Arakgum, the former's shirt glows yellow in the ghost's vision. This foreshadows Arakgum capturing anything with the color yellow since, according to Miss Jones, it "collects its prey according to its color".
- This episode shows Miss Jones has programmed Glowboo to bake beetroot-flavored cheesecakes.
- Because Arakgum captured Andy, the transformation sequence in this episode only featured Mike and Liv.
- This episode reveals that the Ghostforce trio has a GPS device in their suit to track where each other is in the city. They can even detect where their fellow members are in their civilian identity.

- During the scene where Arakgum scares the citizens near the museum, it floats above a Bananice delivery truck. Bananice is a popsicle brand that served as a plot point in the episode "Bananice".
- When Krush is running away from Arakgum while inside a "Creepy Ghost" office building, there is a logo on the wall that resembles the Animal Crossing leaf logo. However, since "Creepy Ghost" seems to be a tech company, it is also a parody of the Apple Inc. logo.
- This episode revealed that Miss Jones is always scared whenever the main trio are out trying to capture a wild ghost. It's heavily implied that she worries that something bad might happen to them similar to what happened to her when she used to be a Ghostforce member before becoming a half-ghost.
- When the main trio gets their classmates down after Krush captures Arak, Jane can be seen gratefully giving Fury a friendly wave while Stacy dismisses Myst. This foreshadows Jane is the friendlier of the cheerleader twins and is only pretending to be a snob in front of her sister, which was later revealed in "Meta&Lix".
