Trivia[]
- Before the episode's worldwide premiere, Jeremy Zag uploaded a clip of Fury capturing Flame in his story on February 2, 2021.
- This is the third episode to use a ghost's alternative title, following "Bananice" and "Trashotic".
- This episode takes place on Independence Day, a US federal holiday commemorating the Declaration of Independence held annually on July 4th.
- Because this episode takes place during summer vacation, it also takes place after "Vochaos".
- This episode reveals that ghost nests are generally indestructible, as seen where the heat didn't destroy Flame's coal.
- Rajat can be seen in the background at the beginning of the episode.
- This episode indirectly reveals that Andy, Liv, and their parents aren't from New York City. During his excitement, Andy mentioned that he and his sister are "[finally] spending Independence Day" in Manhattan.
- The official Ghostforce website confirmed that Andy and Liv moved to Manhattan so their parents can film Solar-Man: The Movie.[3]
- It was later revealed in "Vochaos" that the Baker family is from California.
- In real life, New York City has the biggest fireworks display in the United States to celebrate the Fourth of July.
- Professor Pascal reveals he's interested in pyrotechnics and considers it his side gig.
- * This is the second episode in which a wild ghost negatively impacts the weather in Manhattan when it's in booster mode, after "Pharaok". In this case, Artiflame causes the sky to be covered in smoke because of his fireworks attacks.
- Parts of Downtown Brooklyn can be seen in this episode from across the Bridge.
- If Artiflame flew across the Bridge during his rampage and the Ghostforce didn't capture him in time, then it's likely that he would have terrorized Brooklyn too.
- This episode implies that ghosts can dive underwater due to lacking a physical form, as evident by Artiflame flying out of East River to terrorize everyone at the Brooklyn Bridge.
Errors[]
- Professor Pascal mentioned that fireworks were invented in China in the tenth century. However, this is historically inaccurate since fireworks were unintentionally invented in the second century B.C.E.
