Trivia[]
- This episode features the fourth hint of Mr. Vladovsky's connection with wild ghosts after "Pharaok", "Cyclopee", and "Graffurious". He catches a crystal ball before it drops onto the floor, knowing that it's a nest for Batata and he wants to avoid awakening it.
- Two of the books he has on his table have the KassCorp Industry logo on the spine, foreshadowing his secret alliance with Nolan Kasenti which won't be revealed until "Panikokado".
- The episode reveals that Mr. Vladovsky has a secret compartment behind his painting where he places all the items he confiscated from his students. Given how he once confiscated the Mask of Pharases II which was Pharaok's former nest, it's heavily implied the reason Mr. Vladovsky confiscates various items is to identify any ghost nests.
- A photograph of a neighborhood is placed on his table, but it's unknown what the meaning behind it.
- One of the items Mr. Vladovsky has in his secret compartment is a Solar-Man comic book.
- There are a lot of similarities between this episode and "Pharaok":
- They both focused on Mike wanting to impress Charlie but he is pressured by someone to do so.
- A picture of the Mask of Pharases II can be seen on a page Charlie reads in her textbook, referencing "Pharaok".
- The featured wild ghosts are awakened inside Mr. Vladovsky's office and formerly reside in a nest that has connections with Mike. Both times, Mike isn't aware that said items are ghost nests. However, unlike "Pharaok", Mike doesn't touch Batata's nest but accidentally shatters it indirectly.
- Both wild ghosts attacked the school foyer by transforming victims to create an army. However, unlike Pharaok, Batata's power is contagious and its army can transform other people into bats.
- The main trio goes to the underground laboratory after the attack at the foyer. Andy even mentioned the last time it happened, Miss Jones was hiding in the Boo Fridge.
- Both Pharaok and Batata absorb the team's Boo Energy while they are inside a dome. While Pharaok created a heatwave dome all over the city, Batata created a dome to make everything inside darker.
- This is the second time a ZAG Heroez series features a villain who can transform people into animals and the victims would spread its powers onto other people, following "Mr. Pigeon 72" from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
- This is the seventh episode that features the "Locker Ritual" sequence after "Pharaok", "Mikroo", "Cyclopee", "Glougloux", "Jinjoke", and "Mascarade".
- When the team gets an alert on the Boo Map about Batata's presence, Miss Jones initially doesn't recognize it and states "[she've] never seen a ghost like that before". After Myst gives Miss Jones a Boo Sample, she informs the team about Batata's name and powers.
- Miss Jones reveals to the main trio that she finds bats creepy. Because Mr. Vladovsky resembles a vampire and he is allying with Mr. Kasenti, this hints at a possible past connection between her and the school principal.
- This is the third episode where Glowboo gets transformed during a mission after "Gmagicard" and "Troublestretch".
- Before Miss Jones downloaded the Ghost Lighter into Fury's suit, she was holding a Boo Cap with a ghost inside. This is the first appearance of said ghost, but its identity is unknown to the audience.
- The ghost has solar power and its Boo Energy help fuel the Ghost Lighter. It might be Solarboo, a ghost first mentioned on the official Ghostforce website, who fuels Glowboo since the android is the only known character with that power.[3]
- If that's the case, then this would reveal that every time one of the four members gets transformed by a wild ghost, their ghost partners get teleported back into the laboratory. Once a wild ghost gets captured, the team's partner would teleport back into their suits.
- The ghost has solar power and its Boo Energy help fuel the Ghost Lighter. It might be Solarboo, a ghost first mentioned on the official Ghostforce website, who fuels Glowboo since the android is the only known character with that power.[3]
