Miss Jones, "Biballoon"

Biballoon is a Level 7 wild ghost from the bizzaro family.

In "Biballoon", it was awakened from its nest after Asta accidentally bumped into the helium tank and caused it to hit the bleacher legs.

Appearance[]

Kawai mode[]

Biballoon resembles a green balloon with a green string. It also has green eyes, black scleras, a green tongue, and four white fangs. When the ghost creates five clones of itself, each clone has a different color scheme including yellow, red, purple, turquoise, and pink.

Booster mode[]

In its booster mode, Biballoon resembles a giant caterpillar made out of different colored balloons. It has a purple mouth with white razor-shaped teeth, a turquoise left limb, a yellow right limb, a red and blue body, and a purple tail. Its eye color is also changed from green to blue.

History[]

Season 1[]

Biballoon 009

At an unknown point in time, Biballoon found an old helium tank and began using it as a nest. In "Biballoon", the tank was at Central Park for the 73rd annual Central Park Festival. One citizen was about to pick it up to inflate the balloons for the ceremony, but she disturbed the ghost's slumber that the tank blew itself away before it stopped underneath the bleachers.

Later, Asta was hiding under the bleachers to calm himself down after being startled by the crowd applauding very loudly at the ceremony. He bumped into the canister and unintentionally awakened Biballoon in the process. The ghost, noticing that Asta was bravely growling at it, multiplied itself into six and scared the dog away. Biballoon and its five clones then interrupted the ceremony by turning various people into balloons before they left Central Park to spread their attacks across Manhattan.

Biballoon 185

Shortly after a clone attacked Officer Callaghan at 5th Avenue, Biballoon gained enough Boo Energy that it went into booster mode. When it finally noticed the Ghostforce after Myst provoked it with a spectral arrow, the ghost briefly chased them around Times Square. Fury, thinking its powers came from its mouth, fired a flexible slime to try shutting it up, but the ghost flung him away. Myst and Krush eventually realized that it inflated from its tail but that was before Biballoon blew out a large breeze that transformed nearly everyone standing outside in midtown Manhattan into balloons.

Biballoon 207

After the Ghostforce finally got over their issue about Myst being honored at the ceremony and not asking her teammates to join her, the heroes continued their fight against Biballoon. Glowboo created a plasma screen that temporarily blinded the ghost, while Fury flew up and tied its tail right before it inflated again. This stunned the ghost that Krush released Growmax and deboosted it to its kawai mode before capturing it, restoring everyone to their human forms. Biballoon was later given its name shortly after it was sent to the Ghost Cloud and started residing with the other captive ghosts.

Abilities[]

  • Levitation: Biballoon can levitate in both its kawai and booster modes. Its displacement mimics the movement of a balloon floating in the air.
  • Intangibility: Biballoon can phase through solid objects. The only exceptions are when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.

Biballoon can transform living beings into balloons by blowing at them. It can even create up to five clones to spread out and attack its surroundings quickly and easily. Once it enters booster mode, Biballoon must inflate its tail to create a large amount of air to turn a large number of people into balloons.

Trivia[]

  • Biballoon is one of the many ghost specimens to be recently discovered by the Ghostforce.
    • It is the first recently discovered ghost to be named by Liv Baker.
  • It is the third ghost who can clone itself, following Droplet and Glougloux. However, unlike the two aforementioned ghosts, Biballoon can only clone itself in its kawai mode.
  • The way Biballoon and its clones "fused" into booster mode is similar to any ghosts who share the same Boo Energy cycle level as its twin/triplets, such as Mascarade and Meta&Lix.
    • It also alludes to how real-life balloons can get attracted to each other if one of them is charged with static electricity.
  • Although only five clones were shown in its titular episode, a concept art revealed that Biballoon could create around nineteen clones.[1]
  • Biballoon is the second ghost to transform people into balloons, following Gmagi in its merged form. Both of their powers can be seen as lethal to humans since their victims can get killed by either floating up into space or getting popped by sharp objects.
