Chaorion is a Level 9 wild ghost from the bizarro family.
In "Chaorion", it arrived on Earth after traveling across the Milky Way and crash-landed at Central Park.
Appearance[]
Kawai mode[]
Chaorion is a small gray ghost with a spherical body, a green face, and a large gray triangular unibrow. It is known for its singular light-green eye that mesmerizes people into following its command. The ghost has a black sclera, two white upper fangs, a purple tongue, and four small gray limbs. It also has three triangular horns on its head; two black horns on both sides, and a singular golden horn on the top.
Booster mode[]
In its booster mode, Chaorion's limbs grow into long cephalopod-like tentacles. It also gains a pair of floating arms that can be used to physically attack enemies. The horns on both sides of its head grow sharper, while the golden horn on the top becomes a crown. It also has three additional horns growing on the lower sides of its face.
History[]
Season 1[]

In "Chaorion", the ghost was traveling across the Milky Way when a KassKorp Industry satellite detected it entering Earth's atmosphere. The satellite immediately sent an alert to the company, though it misidentified the ghost as an "asteroid". Shortly after Chaorion crash-landed in the middle of Central Park, it proceeded to terrorize the nearby onlookers by hypnotizing them into becoming its army and obtaining Boo Energy from each victim. It then noticed Professor Pascal was teaching his class on astronomy, so it immediately flew to the teacher and put him under its trance too. This caught the attention of his students, especially the Ghostforce, who all screamed in fear upon seeing Chaorion's army marching towards them. Andy Baker, Liv Baker, and Mike Collins all managed to hide from Chaorion who hypnotized the rest of their classmates before going into booster mode.

Chaorion then left Central Park and led its army down to 5th Avenue where it continued to hypnotize more people with its eye. Once it was capped on Boo Energy, the ghost caused the entire sky to be covered in foggy clouds and commanded everyone to spread the fluid throughout Manhattan. Chaorion was watching the process when the Ghostforce suddenly appeared out of their hiding place and began fighting it. The ghost dodged an incoming fractal blast from Krush before using its tentacles to deflect Myst's spectral arrow and knocked him away. Krush crashed into a Michael Collins billboard and the Baker siblings quickly flew there to check on him. Chaorion followed the kids and fired a hypnotic beam to put them all under its trance. However, Fury quickly shoved his teammates out of the way and got hit instead. While Fury headed down to Times Square to spread Chaorion's Boo Energy, both Myst and Krush immediately hide from the ghost before they become its next victims.

Chaorion's army eventually finished spreading its Boo Energy throughout the streets of Manhattan, leading to a creation of a giant asteroid filled with the ghost's offspring that was about to crash on Earth. Glowboo was about to fight Chaorion to deboost it before the asteroid could devastate the city, but the ghost attacked him with its tentacles and drained all of his Boo Energy, leaving only Krush and Myst to deal with the crisis themselves. Myst opened multiple spectral gates to teleport both herself and Krush's Fractal Mace into outer space, while Krush held back Chaorion on Earth.

Myst luckily managed to destroy the entire asteroid by combining the powers of her spectral arrow with the Fractal Mace, allowing sunlight to shine onto Chaorion and distract the ghost for Krush to stun its eye with a fractal blast. Krush then released Growmax and deboost Chaorion to its kawai mode before capturing it, restoring Manhattan to normal and causing all of the ghost's offspring to fade from existence. It was later sent to the Ghost Cloud where it now resides with the other captive ghosts.
Abilities[]
- Levitation: Chaorion can levitate in both its kawai and booster modes.
- Intangibility: Chaorion can phase through solid objects. The only exceptions are when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.
Chaorion can use its singular eye to mesmerize living beings into following its bidding. The ghost would convert the chant of each victim into Boo Energy and allow it to switch to booster mode. Once capped on Boo Energy, Chaorion would command its victims to spread its fluid throughout their surroundings to unleash a giant asteroid to produce its offspring. To defend itself, Chaorion can use its tentacles to deflect any attacks.

Trivia[]

Glowboo's analysis revealing Chaorion's homeworld.
- Before the release of its featured episode, a render of Chaorion first appeared on the official Ghostforce website.
- Chaorion is one of the many ghosts to be recently discovered by the Ghostforce.
- However, this particular specimen is special since it is the most recent ghost to have arrived on Earth from another planet.
- Chaorion and Cyclopee are the only known ghost specimens to have a singular eye.
- Chaorion, Glougloux, and Bouncee are the only known ghosts that don't have a nest in their featured episodes.
- Chaorion, Xhypno, Mastaar, and Zipzap are the only known ghosts that already have an established name within their specimen. The reason is that each of these four ghost specimens can hypnotize its victims into chanting its name out loud.
- Glowboo described Chaorion as an "alien type" after scanning its Boo Energy. Despite the entire ghost species having extraterrestrial origins, it seems the Ghostforce classified any ghosts that are discovered to be from outside of Earth as "aliens".
- According to Miss Jones, Chaorion is from an extremely rare specimen.
- Chaorion is the second Level 9 ghost that the second iteration of the Ghostforce had captured, following Xhypno.
- Chaorion's arrival on Earth had indirectly led to a chain of events where the KassKorp Industry satellite detected Myst in outer space and caused Nolan Kasenti to realize that Miss Jones is hiding in New York City.
