Trivia[]
- This is the second episode where it featured one of Roland's hot dogs from his Ghost Dog menu. The first was in "Bananice" where he mentioned Mike's usual containing an anchovy, soda bread, chocolate syrup, wasabi mustard tea, and silver of bitter orange. Here, his latest hot dog menu item contains escargot caviar flambéed in apple juice.
- This is the second episode where Mike is seen hanging out with Charlie. The first was in "Burghorror" when he helped her live streaming for her Ghost Blog. In this episode, the two went out on a proper date.
- In "Raijin", Mike and Charlie were planning to go for a walk on her birthday before the titular ghost attacked the city.
- This is the first episode where Mike is seen in a different outfit other than his regular attire.
- This episode confirms Charlie returns Mike's feelings for her. After Mike accidentally drops a hot dog onto her and tries to rub off the stain, Charlie is seen blushing because of how close they are. She is visibly worried about him during Cookieflame's attack and she later blushes again when she admits to him she's glad he's okay after the ghost was captured.
- While it's initially assumed Charlie was oblivious to Mike's crush on her, it's implied her feelings are more subtle than his and there are hints in previous episodes that confirm it:
- She only asked Mike if they could go for a walk together on her birthday in "Raijin" and there is no mention of anyone else joining them.
- She kisses Mike on the cheek after he unintentionally films quality footage of the Ghostforce battling Burghorror at Times Square in its titular episode.
- She's willing to partner with Mike at the end of the school semester dance in "Creepop".
- "Creepop " shows Charlie still has a fangirl crush on Krush after he rescued her from falling. So, it's likely she has feelings for both Mike and Krush, not knowing they are the same person.
- While it's initially assumed Charlie was oblivious to Mike's crush on her, it's implied her feelings are more subtle than his and there are hints in previous episodes that confirm it:
- This episode reveals that a merger ghost doesn't need to merge with an object that reflects its powers. Flamagma, a flame-themed ghost, was originally planning to merge with Roland's barbeque since it's flammable. However, because of Andy's intervention, the ghost ended up merging with a non-flammable cookie instead.
- This is the first time a civilian is informed about how merger ghost switches to booster mode. Furthermore, Charlie livestreams Flamagma merging into a cookie to become Cookieflame for the Ghost Blog, allowing her audience to gain knowledge about the process after watching the footage.
- This is the fifth episode where the transformation sequence only features Andy and Mike after "Mikroo", "Chronoklok", "Jellystery", and "Meta&Lix".
- Myst's quip, "I ain't scared of no cookie", is a nod to Ghostbusters, a film franchise Ghostforce is inspired by. As part of the inspiration, Myst's line is a reference to a verse in the Ghostbuster theme song which is "I ain't 'fraid of no ghost".
- This is the first episode where Krush is seen rescuing his father from a wild ghost attack.
- Glowboo malfunctioned in this episode when he gets trapped by one of Cookieflame's chocolate chips, which burned his circuits. After the ghost is captured, he is shown to recover himself quickly and manages to head back to Miss Jones's lab all by himself without any help from his teammates.
Errors[]
- Andy was skateboarding on the sidewalk before he encountered Mike who was waiting for Charlie. However, when Andy greets him, both the skateboard and his helmet disappear from the scene.
- Despite Mike wearing a fancy business suit, he appears in his normal attire when transforming.
