Trivia[]
- This episode takes place at the end of a school semester. While it isn't stated, it likely occurred in late January since that is the end of the Fall semester for middle schools in New York City.
- This means the events of both "Grump King" and "Panikokado" have passed despite the two aforementioned specials being released after this episode.
- The school dance was previously mentioned in "Jellystery" when Professor Pascal referred to it as a "school fair" and practiced dancing at Central Park for it. Near the end of this episode, he can be seen at the party which causes Mr. Vladovsky to be shocked at his dance moves.
- This episode features the third hint of Mr. Vladovsky's connection with wild ghosts after "Pharaok" and "Cyclopee". He is seen chaperoning the school dance conveniently after Creepop's capture. Because of this, he's likely the one who planted Creepop's nest in the storage room so it can be unleashed onto the students while they are setting up the venue at the library.
- This episode reveals that Mike doesn't like to dance in public because he worries about what people think about his moves.
- Despite his fear, Krush dodges Creepop's attacks as if he's dancing and manages to catch a falling Charlie as if he's tangoing with her.
- This is the fourth episode where Miss Jones has no knowledge of a specific wild ghost after "Xhypno", "Burghorror", "Vochaos", and "Bubble-Brush". Here, she never encounters Creepop before.
- Both of Marlo's eyes are seen before Creepop fires an attack at him.
- In the Norwegian dub, when Glowboo arrives to assist the team, he makes a reference to "La Det Swinge" by the Norwegian pop duo Bobbysocks.
- This is the third episode where a wild ghost almost leaves Manhattan by flying across the Brooklyn Bridge after "Artiflame" and "Chronoklok". When Creepop is chasing Myst, she manages to lure the ghost away from the borough of Brooklyn and makes it follow her back to Manhattan.
- When Glowboo and Fury both get knocked into the East River by Creepop, the former doesn't get short-circuited despite being an android. This is because he was upgraded by Miss Jones to be "waterproof up to a depth of ten thousand meters" since "Cyclopee".
- This is the thirteenth episode where one or more member(s) of the Ghostforce team got affected by a wild ghost's power.
