Trivia[]

  • This is the second episode that doesn't open with a prologue, following "Bananice".
  • The episode reveals that Boo Caps are color-coded for a specific ghost based on its level. The yellow Boo Caps are for level three ghosts, while the orange Boo Caps are for level nine ghosts. A ghost can't be placed in a capsule meant for ghosts with a lower level than it. If it stays there for too long, then it can result in the capsule getting cracked.
    • In previous episodes, sometimes the Ghostforce would randomly throw Boo Caps at a ghost despite the color-coordination. For example, Breathrill is a level five ghost but Myst captured it with a yellow Boo Cap. While it can be seen as an error, it can be interpreted that once the team successfully captures a ghost, they would immediately send it to the lab in case they accidentally place it in the wrong capsule so Miss Jones can transfer the ghost to the Boocloud before the capsule gets shattered.
  • Miss Jones is seen playing Spook Out again after "Chaorion".
  • Mike's fantasy sequence features chibi versions of himself and his father spending time together. Mike's chibi design is based on a one-time chibi scene transition from "Trashotic".
  • This is the second episode that features Mr. Collins wanting to spend time with his son but his busy schedule suddenly gets in the way, following "Sandyrok". Unlike "Sandyrok", where Mr. Collins accidentally bailed on him after forgetting about their plan and not telling his son about it until it's too late, this episode shows he gets a sudden schedule change right before they leave the Collins Tower and let him know about it.
  • The Dragon Venom energy drink from "Scream Scratch" can be seen both at the underground lab and at the basketball match at Times Square.
  • The episode reveals that two male news reporters who frequently appear in the background are named Greg and Calvin.
  • This is the second time Andy is seen participating in a basketball match and appearing on TV with Mr. Collins, following "Scream Scratch".
  • When Glowboo cheers for Andy, he holds two flags with Andy's chibi face on them.
  • This marks the first appearance where more than one ghosts that the team previously captured are seen in the episode.
  • This episode takes place after "Ninja Ki" since the titular ghost is seen within the training room computer.
  • The Ghost Car can be seen in the garage computer when Mike activates a portal so he can transport himself to Times Square.
  • This is the second episode where the team must re-capture a ghost after one member accidentally causes it to escape from the lab after "Glougloux".
  • This is the third episode where the team must capture a level nine ghost before its children hatch from their eggs, following "Xhypno" and "Chaorion".
    • Miss Jones reveals that level nine ghosts can bore hundreds of children.

Errors[]

  • Despite Miss Jones refers to a level nine Boo Cap as "golden", the color is actually orange.
  • Mike never told Liv that the ghost was a level three, only that it was tiny. But she claims he said so when learning that the ghost is actually a level nine.
  • Mike is wearing his normal shoes instead of the ones he brought from the lab when he transforms.
