“ | Hate to interrupt but if you don't capture that ghost soon, all of New York will be a playpen! | ” |
—Miss Jones, "Agia" |
Elastrick is a Level 7 wild ghost from the flexible family.
In "Agia", it was awakened from its nest after the piñata fell onto the rooftop of the Baker residence. It later merged with a trick candle and briefly became Agia.
Appearance[]
Kawai mode[]
In its kawai mode, Elastrick is a red ghost with pink eyes and black scleras. It has seven bottom limbs, four small teeth in its jaws, and a pair of long stretchable arms that end with a spherical fist.
As Agia[]
Upon merging with a birthday candle, Agia's face resembles a melted wax. It has a red body with white stripes, a red wick, and long stretchable arms. Its eyes would glow either red or blue based on the candle flame.
Abilities[]
- Flight: Elastrick/Agia can fly in both its kawai and booster modes.
- Intangibility: Elastrick/Agia can phase through walls, floors, and generally solid objects. The only exception is when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.
- Possession: As a merger ghost, Elastrick can gain additional powers by possessing objects. The only receptacle it was seen merged with was a candle.
- Elasto Punch: Elastrick's arms are stretchable that can transform anyone they touch into "rubber". The effects only last for a few seconds before the victim returns to their normal self. The only person who was seen affected by the ghost was Marlo.
- Body Stretch: Elastrick/Agia has a flexible body that allows it to stretch out in every way, allowing it to dodge any incoming attacks.
- Age Hypnotic: Agia would apply the temporary effect of its elasto punch for its two different offensive abilities. Depending on the color of its flame, the ghost can hypnotize any living being into acting younger or older by punching them with its fists. This power also affects non-human beings, such as Asta who is a dog.
- Ageminus: If the candle flame burns red, the ghost's victims would behave like young children.
- Ageplus: If the candle flame burns blue, the ghost's victims would behave like elders.
- Prankandle: Because Agia's receptacle is a trick candle, its flame can change colors and light itself back up after it is blown out.

Trivia[]
- Elastrick's name is a pun on the English word "elastic". This is a reference to its flexible arms and being a prankster-type ghost.
- "Trick" also refers to the trick candle that the ghost merged with. A trick candle is a novelty item used for practical jokes where the candle would reignite itself after it was blown out.
- In the Latin American Spanish dub, Elastrick's name was retained in its booster mode.
- Elastrick's nest being a piñata makes sense since it is a popular game for guests to play at a party.
- Candles are placed on top of birthday cakes because they symbolize the years of a person's life. When Elatrick merged with a trick candle to become Agia, its hypnotic powers reflect a human's life journey of going from childhood to elderhood.
- The official Ghostforce website revealed that Elastrick is from a rare specimen.[1]
