“ | A time-out in the Ghost Cloud should dampen your magic show. | ” |
—Miss Jones, "Gmagicard" |
The Ghost Cloud is a special Boo Technology cage invented by Miss Jones to store ghosts after they were captured by the Ghostforce. It is located in the middle of the console room within the underground laboratory.
Appearance[]

The open space where the wild ghosts are held captive.
The Ghost Cloud is a giant cage that is connected to the console Miss Jones uses as a computer. The tank is made out of a special Boo Technology material that resembles a giant plastic fish bowl. The upper level of the Ghost Cloud is a large open space where various captive ghosts are either asleep or fly around freely.
Features[]
The Ghost Cloud is made out of special Boo Technology materials that prevent any ghost from ever phasing through the cage and escaping. As confirmed in "Dunky Boss", the tank is indestructible and completely weakens any ghost's powers. Bouncee demonstrated the tank's capability by attempting to break it to no avail since the ghost can't leave a magma crater to melt it.

Spong's Boo Cap being inserted into the console so the ghost can be sent to the Ghost Cloud.
To send a ghost to the Ghost Cloud, its Boo Cap must be inserted into the console. The ghost would be transferred into the giant tank where the console would identify its specimen and what its cycle level is before adding the information to the database. Once the analysis is completed, a giant pipe tube from the cloud would move down and connect itself to the top of the tank, allowing Miss Jones to transfer the ghost through the tube and into the cloud where the rest of the captive ghosts are.
According to the official Ghostforce website, the Ghost Cloud was created to calm down every wild ghost the team ever captured.[1] Miss Jones considered the cage to be a "time-out" for the wild ghosts since they can't use their powers to aggressively attack its fellow ghost residents.
Whenever a wild ghost is needed for either a training session or as fuel for a Boo Technology gadget, they would be selected by a Ghostforce member via the computer. A Boo Cap would be inserted into the console and transfer said ghost into it.
Despite the Ghost Cloud's capabilities, "Grump King" confirmed that the captive wild ghosts must ingest a large amount of fear so they can escape from it. In the special, Miss Jones warned Fury about the dangers of Grump King's pumpkins that were created to consume people's fears. If he was unable to capture the ghost in time, all the pumpkins would spit out and there'd be too much fear released in the air that all the ghosts in the city would be awakened. As demonstrated in the diagram on the console interface, the tank from the Ghost Cloud would become weakened and all the captive ghosts in the cage would phase through it to escape.

Trivia[]
- The Ghost Cloud was first revealed in an old concept art in 2015.
- According to a 2021 Ghostforce sizzle reel, the cage was originally known as the Ectocloud.
- The official Ghostforce website referred to the cage as the Boo Cloud.[1]
- Some concept art would depict ghosts in their booster mode in the tank instead of their kawai mode.
- Because the Ghost Cloud is a cage for wild ghosts, it was a former home for Growmax, Solarboo, Octocat, Dragoyle, and Glups before they were all eventually tamed. Except for Glups, the rest of the tamed ghosts are now living in their respective Boo Caps.
- Glups is the first known tamed ghost to be stored in the tank of the Ghost Cloud because the Ghostforce must calmed him down when he temporarily became a wild ghost again.
- The only known ghosts that were previously stored in the Ghost Cloud before the second iteration of the Ghostforce was formed included one of Sharkoak's relatives, one of Mastaar's relatives, Glougloux, and Bouncee.
- When Chronoklok indirectly released a time-stop bubble into the lab in its titular episode, it's unknown if all the ghosts stored in the Ghost Cloud were affected by its power.
