Glowboo is the tritagonist of Ghostforce. He is an android superhero in Manhattan designed by Carpenter and constructed by Miss Jones to be the fourth member of the second iteration of the Ghostforce.[2]

With his Ghostforce armor, when fueled by Solarboo's Boo Energy, Glowboo gains solar powers to capture every wild ghost in Manhattan.

Appearance[]

Glowboo is an android made from an artificial intelligence code installed into an orange Ghostforce armor. The armor has a display screen that serves as his face with white light representing his eyes and mouth.

For more of Glowboo's designs, see Glowboo/Designs.

Personality[]

Glowboo is a friendly, honest, and informative android. While he was initially "a computer algorithm programmed to fulfill the same mission" as the Ghostforce, Glowboo eventually developed a personality of his own after months of living with Miss Jones and helping the main trio during missions.

His bond with his teammates allows him to develop a genuine sense of empathy and he always wants to help those in need. Whenever he detects one of his teammates having emotional distress during a mission, he asks them if they are all right and often provides advice so they can feel better. For example, in "Bubble-Brush", he advised Krush not to expect everything to work out perfectly as he wanted since there can be unforeseen events that can affect his plans. He also now sees the main trio as more just his teammates since, in "Panikokado", he agrees with Fury that the Ghostforce is like a family and hugs them all before they leave to celebrate Christmas. Whenever he sees an incoming ghost attack aiming at his friends, he quickly comes to their defense by either getting them out of the way or protecting them with his Solar Shield.

His empathy even allows him to give an honest compliment to someone for their skills and talents, especially people he recognizes as classmates of the main trio. As seen in "Levisfer", he complimented Rajat for his robo-baker invention, referring to it being "almost as advanced as [him]." He would even be quick to recognize if he accidentally hurt someone directly because of his actions. For instance, he apologized to Drake for accidentally throwing a Boo Cap at his forehead in "Scream Scratch" because he was aiming at the titular ghost but missed.

During his early life as an artificial intelligence, Glowboo didn't fully understand human concepts such as metaphors, sarcasm, and figures of speech. He would innocently misinterpret what someone said in a literal sense. For example, he misinterpreted Krush's figure of speech that "things were getting heated" for the team when they faced Sharkoak, thinking he meant the temperature outside. He also didn't understand abbreviations when Myst sarcastically complimented him to "keep things on the DL" after he accidentally caused a major vibration on Arakgum's web, innocently thanking her and asking what "DL" means.

However, as Miss Jones continued to update him with new features, Glowboo slowly began understanding figures of speech and even slowly started incorporating them into his speech patterns. He often uses computer terminologies, such as "reprogramming" and "query", but he understands that his human friends can interpret him using metaphors for his piece of advice. As of "Hypnolion", he fully understands wordplays and often makes a one-liner containing puns to humor himself. For instance, when Fury was restored to normal after the team captured the titular ghost who hypnotized him into behaving like a monkey, Glowboo stated that he's glad Fury is "no longer monkeying around".

Glowboo doesn't seem to fully grasp the enjoyment of human entertainment yet. When Andy first taught him how to play a racing video game, his protocol prevented him from winning the game because of his inability to break the laws despite the game wasn't real for him. However, he does find genuine interest in dancing, particularly breakdancing when he requested both Miss Jones and Mike to implement a breakdancing feature for his next upgrade. While he never experienced gardening before, he mentioned in "Scaregrow" that he finds it a soothing activity.

Abilities[]

Armor[]

  • Display Screen: He can project different facial expressions based on his emotions, including data, on his armor's face screen.
  • Scanner: Glowboo's scanner can detect Boo Energy signature, body temperature, and a human's brain waves frequency.
  • Boo Energy Detector Glowboo's armor is connected to the Boo Map from the laboratory so his system can detect where a ghost is in Manhattan based on its Boo Energy signature.
  • Superhuman Durability: His durability prevents him from suffering any major damage during a ghost attack.
  • Superhuman Reflexes: Glowboo can throw a Boo Cap at a wide range to capture a ghost in kawai mode. However, his aim isn't always perfect since the ghosts can dodge the incoming Boo Caps.
  • Superhuman Stamina: While it's unknown how heavy the Ferris wheel at Central Park is, the armor allows Glowboo to hold onto objects that weigh up to 85 tons. As seen in "Sporofungus", he was able to hold onto the entire malfunctioned Ferris wheel for 26 seconds to prevent it from spinning uncontrollably.
  • Hypnotic Immunity: His armor allows him to be completely immune to any ghosts with mind-controlling powers.
  • Water-Resistant: As of "Cyclopee", Glowboo's armor is waterproof for up to a depth of ten thousand meters.
  • Affection Chip: Glowboo has a chip stored in his system that allows him to feel affectionate love for humanity. This chip indirectly helps him develop a genuine sense of morality and empathy for people he sees as his friends, willing to protect them from harm and help them whenever they feel emotional distress.
  • Phosphorescence: Like his teammates, Glowboo's Ghostforce armor glows brightly in dark places.
  • Gadget Download: Whenever Miss Jones sends a Boo Technology gadget from the lab to Glowboo, said gadget would come out from his medallion.
  • Boo Cap Storage: His armor stores multiple Boo Caps to capture a ghost in kawai mode. Whenever he is ready, he would teleport a Boo Cap onto the palm of his armor's gauntlet.

Because he's an android, his system operation can get damaged if there is something like hot cocoa, glue, ice, and sand blocking his circuits. He can also get short-circuit and shut himself down whenever he is hit by Myst's spectral arrows, as demonstrated in "Piraniak" and "Ninja Ki" since the arrows are made of lightning.

His system operation can also suffer from a computing error if he overheard someone attempting to calculate a variable that is too overwhelming for him to understand, which Krush unintentionally caused in "Criangle", though he would recover himself soon after.

Features[]

Glowboo was programmed with numerous features in his armor to assist the Ghostforce on their missions. Some features are part of the original blueprint design by Carpenter, but Miss Jones has added her features for him.

  • Internal clock: Glowboo has an internal clock that can let him calculate the time.
  • Diversion: Glowboo is programmed to provide a distraction for a wild ghost while his teammates secretly find its weakness to take it down.
  • Temperature measurement: As of "Sharkoak", Glowboo can measure the temperature of his surroundings to know if there's a ghost whose powers can affect the weather.
  • Probability prediction: Glowboo's scanner can allow him to predict the probability of an outcome based on his surroundings.
  • Food preparation: Glowboo is very skilled in baking beet-rooted flavor cheesecakes, making smoothies, cooking veggie pies, baking cookies, and cooking spaghetti.
  • Sonic Scream: It's currently unknown if he still has this ability since Glowboo once emitted extremely loud sound waves in "Xhypno" after the titular ghost caused him to glitch after attacking him.
  • Multilingual: Glowboo can speak up to fifty-nine languages. A few non-English languages he spoke included Spanish, Chinese, and Sanskrit.
  • Chessmaster: Glowboo knows how to play chess, particularly the game styled after the wild ghosts that are kept in the lab. His chess skills allowed him to beat Miss Jones at least nineteen times as of "Troublestretch".
  • Self-Stabilization: With Glowboo's upgrade from "Cyclopee", he can activate a self-stabilization protocol to quickly recover himself from a ghost attack. This was demonstrated in "Bubble-Brush" when he managed to stabilize himself after he was briefly knocked away by the titular merger ghost.
  • Boo Energy Analysis: Glowboo can scan a ghost's Boo Energy signature and send the analysis to Miss Jones.
  • Meditation: As of "Ninja Ki", Glowboo can activate his meditation feature to calm himself whenever his system gets short-circuited. This feature was from Carpenter's original notes.
  • Jokari: Glowboo is skilled in playing jokari with the highest score he earned being 824, as of "Criangle".

Boo Energy[]

Glowboo is fueled by Solarboo's Boo Energy to use any of his powers. This includes:

  • Flight: Glowboo can hover himself into the air.
  • Intangibility: Whenever he activates this power, Glowboo can phase through walls, floors, and generally solid objects.
  • Solar Blast: For his attacks, Glowboo can fire glowing balls of Boo Energy that can temporarily blind his enemies upon being struck.
  • Plasma Screen: Glowboo can place his hands flat on the ground and blind an entire area for a limited time, though this can drain a large amount of Boo Energy.
  • Bulby Trick: Glowboo can create tiny orbs of Boo Energy and hover them around. This power is often used to distract a ghost while his teammates can secretly take it down from behind.
  • Solar Shield: Glowboo can create spherical forcefields around himself to protect himself and his teammates, even against a ghost in booster mode. However, as revealed in "Vochaos", using the Solar Shield for too long can quickly drain his Boo Energy.

However, his Boo Energy can get drained if he goes out too long without charging or if he uses up too much power. Whenever he's out of Boo Energy, he must be placed in one of the three recharge chambers in the lab. It's unknown how long until he would be fully recharged, but it's estimated to be a few hours.

During Glowboo's early life as a superhero, his Boo Energy got easily drained whenever he was out of his recharge chamber. This especially happened if he was doing chores in the lab between missions. However, he now has a larger Boo Energy storage after "Cyclopee", allowing him to be more active without always requiring a full recharge before he accompanies the team.

History[]

Pre-Season 1[]

Glowboo was designed by a man known as Carpenter as an artificial intelligence that can be powered by Boo Energy. While the exact motives behind the creation are unclear, a blueprint was designed with numerous notes about the android's features and was hidden somewhere in the underground laboratory. However, following Carpenter's capture by a ghost "with multiple powers", his partner known as Miss Jones found the blueprint and began working on the prototype in his honor. The notes Carpenter wrote for the android's features are all written in codes, so Miss Jones worked hard to decipher parts of the notes for the prototype.[3]

Season 1[]

After a few trials and errors, Miss Jones eventually installed the AI prototype in an orange Ghostforce armor and began using Solarboo, a solar-themed ghost, as fuel for the android. Sometime before the events of "Raijin", the android was given the name Glowboo by Miss Jones. He was trained by his creator to learn how to fight and use his solar powers to protect humanity from ghosts. He was also programmed by Miss Jones to recognize Andy Baker, Mike Collins, and Liv Baker as his allies and teammates in the current iteration of the Ghostforce.

Raijin 145

The prototype of Glowboo was eventually finished in "Raijin", on the same day a spectral ghost known as Raijin was awakened and attacked the Brooklyn Bridge. He was intended to be a surprise for the main trio at the lab, but he was sent by Miss Jones as reinforcement to help them capture the ghost. Upon arrival, Glowboo managed to hold off the ghost for a short while and indirectly led the main trio to learn Raijin would recharge its electricity powers with the antennae of the Empire State Building. When Raijin was about to fire a lightning strike at Glowboo from above, Fury quickly covered for him with his Flexi Shield.

Raijin 217

The two then hid from the ghost to have a conversation while Myst and Krush dealt with Raijin. Glowboo introduced himself to Fury by innocently referring to him as "Andy", not knowing Miss Jones hadn't explained to them that he already knew their real names because the team's comm links were cut off by Raijin's attack. When Glowboo noticed Myst was having trouble firing her Spectral Bow at the Empire State Building antennae, he fired a Solar Blast at the ghost to distract it, allowing Myst to successfully capture Raijin.

Raijin 251

With Glowboo's first mission completed, he was about to return to the laboratory when he suddenly ran out of Boo Energy and glitched in front of his new teammates. The Ghostforce took the android back to the lab to recharge him in his chamber in the console room. While he was asleep, Miss Jones properly introduced him to the main trio by referring to him as "a computer algorithm programmed to fulfill the same mission" as the Ghostforce.

Since then, Glowboo would be sent as reinforcement for the main trio whenever they are trying to capture a ghost. He was also programmed by Miss Jones to do chores around the lab between missions, mainly because her disability prevents her from doing them without the risk of accidentally causing chaos if she touches something with her ghost hand.

Artiflame 167

However, he didn't have all his features unlocked by Miss Jones at the time, resulting in him constantly suffering from glitches or running out of Boo Energy in the middle of a mission and having to be upgraded regularly. Every time it happened, his teammates would carry him back to the lab so Miss Jones could fix him. There are two instances of Glowboo suffering from an unexpected system error despite having enough Boo Energy after recharging. The first was "Krik-Krok" before he's about to attack the titular ghost at the Empire State Building, and the second was in "Artiflame" while attempting to distract the titular merger ghost at the Brooklyn Bridge.

He was also unable to participate in two missions early in his superhero life. When Petrifear merged with Mike's watch in "Chronoklok", the ghost indirectly froze both Miss Jones and Glups in the lab. This prevented Miss Jones from getting Glowboo out of his recharging chamber in time to help his teammates until after the ghost's capture. He later suffered from a major glitch that prevented Miss Jones from sending him to assist the team in capturing the Katastroph triplets in their titular episode.

By the events of "Vochaos" and "Agia", Miss Jones managed to decipher parts of Carpenter's notes that reduce the risks of unexpected glitches in his system. Eventually, after months of research, Miss Jones gave Glowboo a massive upgrade in "Cyclopee" that allows him to be waterproof for up to a depth of ten thousand meters, have his solar powers from Solarboo be stronger than the Earth's sun, and speak up to fifty-nine languages. After Glowboo and Myst both worked together to capture Cyclopee, Miss Jones revealed to the main trio that she was trying to decipher the notes belonging to "an old friend of [hers]" to unlock the rest of his features before he can reach his full potential.

Bubble-Brush 253

With Glowboo's new upgrades, the risk of a Boo Energy shortage or system errors has been greatly reduced, allowing him to be more active and help his teammates capture a ghost. However, he still needs to recharge his Boo Energy before he leaves the lab.

In "Somnibou", Mike attempted to unlock more of Glowboo's features after working on deciphering parts of Carpenter's notes for weeks. However, after waking up from his upgrade, Glowboo started to suffer from huge glitches because the code from Carpenter's notes wasn't correctly deciphered by Mike. When a ghost later known as Somnibou was awakened and started making various Manhattanites fall asleep with its powers, Glowboo's malfunctionality became a major hindrance to the team during their mission.

After the ghost switched to booster mode, Glowboo's glitches caused him to get distracted by a seagull and start chasing it. Krush tried to calm the android down since his malfunctionality had corrupted his system and caused him to become a danger to civilians. However, being called "dangerous" caused Glowboo to suddenly see Krush as a hostile threat and start firing his Solar Blast at him. The android chased after his teammate to the Brooklyn Bridge where Somnibou happened to be there. After Krush revealed to Miss Jones the password he used for his thumb drive that unknowingly gave Glowboo the malware, the android was given a full system reboot as the scientist accessed and removed the code.

Glowboo was fully restored to his normal self after the code was gone from the system and he immediately assisted the team in successfully capturing Somnibou. After Somnibou was sent to the Ghost Cloud, Mike apologized to Miss Jones for unknowingly installing the malware code without her knowing. Miss Jones forgave him and together, the two began their shared project of deciphering Carpenter's notes to unlock all of Glowboo's hidden features.

While Miss Jones and Mike were still trying to decipher the notes, Glowboo continued to assist the team whenever wild ghosts were attacking Manhattan. During this time, he slowly began to get more recognition from the Manhattanites for his heroic deeds among the Ghostforce.

Turbokorn 162

As of "Turbokorn", Glowboo is now in charge of guiding his teammates around Manhattan whenever the heroes use the Ghost Car for missions. So far, Glowboo has ridden in the car in "Turbokorn" and "Dinozos", each time successfully helping his teammates capture a ghost.

Starting with "Biballoon", Glowboo has earned even more recognition after he was featured in a live news broadcast where Myst announced the entire team, including him, deserves a Medal of Honor for being the heroes of Manhattan.

In "Ninja Ki", Miss Jones managed to unlock a new feature in Glowboo that was part of Carpenter's notes. Whenever he gets short-circuit and is about to shut down unexpectedly, he meditates to calm himself down.

Specials[]

In "Grump King", Glowboo was forced to recharge right when the titular ghost got awakening at the Baker residence. As a result, both Krush and Myst fell under Grump King's clutches and got transformed into Halloween creatures because he wasn't there to protect them. Upon his arrival, Glowboo noticed Grump King was about to grab Fury and about to fall under the ghost's clutches. So, he quickly intervened and let himself get captured by the ghost to protect him. Grump King attempted to cast an illusion of Glowboo's fear to weaken him, but it doesn't work due to him being an android and not being able to feel any fear. Glowboo created a large solar orb at the ghost to blind it before he asked Fury what the plan was. However, Fury was afraid of falling under Grump King's clutches and flew away. Grump King then violently shook Glowboo from its vine and drained all his Boo Energy before tossing him aside. Following Grump King's capture, Krush retrieved Glowboo and took him back to the Ghost Car where Miss Jones drove him back to the lab to once again recharge him.

In "Panikokado", Glowboo celebrated his first Christmas with Miss Jones and Glups. One of the Christmas traditions he got to experience was baking cookies, though the first batch accidentally got burned and Miss Jones resorted to using a fire extinguisher to put them out. Before Glowboo can place a second batch in the oven, Miss Jones received an alert on the Boo Map about Paniko's awakening and has merged with a Christmas tree at Times Square. So, he dropped the baking tray he was holding onto the floor and headed to Times Square to meet up with Fury and Myst. During the fight against Panikokado at Fifth Avenue, Glowboo unknowingly got recorded by multiple KassKorp Industry spy cameras that belonged to Nolan Kasenti as part of an unknown plan against the team. He was later trapped by one of the merger ghost's gift box attacks at the Brooklyn Bridge, causing him to dance uncontrollably inside the box. After Krush captured Paniko, Glowboo returned the Christmas tree at Times Square before heading back to the lab to continue spending the holiday with his "family".

Relationships[]

Miss Jones[]

Glowboo is very loyal to Miss Jones since she's his co-creator who built his armor to make him come to life. He understands Miss Jones is disabled because her DNA is fused with Boo Energy, so he would always help her with chores around the lab.

Since Glowboo agrees with Fury in "Panikokado" that the Ghostforce is like a family, it's heavily implied he sees Miss Jones as a parental figure to him. The two spend a lot of time together between missions whenever Glowboo isn't recharging in the lab. This includes playing ghost chess and baking desserts. He also gets to experience human culture and lifestyle from Miss Jones since he celebrated his first Christmas by baking holiday cookies with her.

As seen in both "Graffurious" and "Tortress", Glowboo would often watch and assist Miss Jones in working on her Boo Energy experiments.

Whenever Glowboo is out of Boo Energy, Miss Jones would place him in one of his three recharge chambers in the lab. However, based on his comment in "Biballoon", he gets annoyed every time Miss Jones doesn't remember where she last put him and it's something that happens a lot to him.

Mike Collins/Krush[]

Cookieflame 097

Glowboo noticing Krush feeling upset.

Out of his three teammates in the Ghostforce, Glowboo is very close to Mike.

Every time Glowboo detects Krush feeling emotional distress during a mission, he always asks if he is all right and tries to help cheer him up. For instance, in "Cookieflame", Glowboo suggested to the team that Krush should "complete his query" after the latter explained that he was upset that his romantic date with Charlie was a disaster because of the titular merger ghost attack.

Glowboo also trusts Mike for his intellect. When Mike wanted to secretly help Miss Jones decipher all of Carpenter's notes to unlock all of the android's features, Glowboo had huge faith in him succeeding with his "smart yet spongey human brain" and was even willing to keep the project a secret from their teammates for an entire week. In "Somnibou", Glowboo was initially concerned when Mike chose to not tell Miss Jones about the project before upgrading him. However, after Mike assured Glowboo that the upgrade would be a surprise to Miss Jones, he allowed the pre-teen boy to proceed with the process. While Glowboo soon learned later that Mike's code wasn't perfect and caused his circuits to glitch, the android forgave Mike for his mistake after Miss Jones found out and removed the code from him.

While Glowboo doesn't know Charlie very well, he likes seeing Mike going on a date with her in "Criangle".

Andy Baker/Fury[]

Raijin 193

Glowboo greeting his new teammate Fury.

Glowboo first met Fury during his first mission in "Raijin". Although he wasn't aware that his teammates use secret identities, he was excited to meet his new teammate and greeted him by his real name during their introduction.

While the two aren't close, Glowboo sees Fury as the second-in-command of the team since he would listen to his attack strategies whenever Myst isn't around. Because Glowboo was initially literal-minded during his early life as a superhero, it heavily implies he picks up Andy/Fury's habit of delivering quippy one-liners since he now understands informal expressions and often says one himself before he attacks a ghost. For example, when Fury taunted Paniclick for "running out of juice" after turning off the camera that the ghost merged with, Glowboo remarked that he "can share some of his" before firing a large Solar Blast to temporarily blind the ghost.

In "Jellystery", Glowboo is introduced to video games by Andy where they both attempt to play a racing game on their phones. However, despite Glowboo's protocol preventing him from winning and seeing the enjoyment of it, he found Andy's "teaching" to help increase his efficiency for missions.

Glowboo cheered for Andy in "Dunky Boss" when the latter participated in a basketball dunking contest at Times Square which was broadcast live throughout the city.

Liv Baker/Myst[]

Unlike his teammates, Glowboo sees Myst as the de facto leader of the second iteration of the Ghostforce. Whenever the team is on a mission, he greatly admires her leadership skills and listens to her attack strategies so they can capture a ghost.

While Glowboo was updating in "Cyclopee", he was unaware that Liv was worried about the possibility of him replacing everyone in the team because of his increasing advancements. However, when he later met up with her, he unknowingly eased her worry by asking for her help to take down Cyclopee. This is because Glowboo can't handle dealing with a ghost on his own, so he trusts Myst as his leader who will always be there to help everyone on the team.

Glups[]

Although Glowboo and Glups are rarely seen interacting, they both get along very well since they live together with Miss Jones.

In "Cyclopee", the two played a round of ghost chess after Glowboo's return from capturing Cyclopee with the team. While under the influence of his affection chip in "Sandyrok", Glowboo happily grabbed Glups to form a group hug. Before Glowboo ran out of Boo Energy in "Grump King", he was briefly seen greeting Glups by bumping him with his forehead.

Glowboo is fully aware that Glups is hypersensitive to sunlight, so he must be careful with using his solar powers since they have a stronger amount of solar radiation. As seen in "Rozamour", Glowboo can only create two Bulby Tricks similar to that of candlelights to prevent the risk of his friend suffering from an allergic reaction. When Glups became a wild ghost after accidentally escaping the lab in "Jellyjack", Glowboo worked together with his teammates to capture Glups so they could send him to the Ghost Cloud to calm him down.

Carpenter[]

Glowboo was originally designed by Carpenter as a Boo Energy-infused artificial intelligence. However, it's heavily implied that Glowboo is completely unaware of his designer's existence since Miss Jones is very secretive about her past and never tells anyone about Carpenter being the co-founder and former member of the Ghostforce. Whenever Miss Jones refers to Carpenter as an "old friend of [hers]" to the second iteration of the team, Glowboo is never shown clarifying his designer's identity to his teammates.

Trivia[]

  • Glowboo's existence was first revealed on a promotional poster from Jeremy Zag posted on his Instagram on June 13, 2017, replacing Mike.
  • Glowboo's name was first mentioned in the 2020 TFOU press conference presentation.[2]
    • However, it isn't until January 12, 2021, when Lindalee Rose reveals on an Instagram reply that the orange Ghostforce member is an "android sidekick" of the team, thus indirectly revealing the identity of Glowboo.[4]
  • Glowboo seems to be named after Solarboo, the ghost that fuels his armor and gives him solar powers. The "glow" part of his name might also refer to his ability to create Solar Orbs that glow as bright as the sun to blind his enemies.
  • According to the official Ghostforce website, Glowboo is described as the team's "wooden dummy" whenever he trains in the simulation room.
  • The way Glowboo fires his Solar Blast through his armor gauntlets is similar to Iron Man's repulsor attacks.
  • Sometimes, whenever Glowboo glitched during his early life as a superhero, he would randomly make dance moves. That must be where his interest in dancing came from.
  • While it's never stated within the series, Glowboo seems to also run errands for Miss Jones since she can't leave her lab with her disability. For example, in "Xhypno", Miss Jones mentioned having bought a new pair of high heel shoes so Glowboo likely retrieved the delivery package for her.
  • Despite being able to resist any hypnotic ghosts, Glowboo isn't immune to ghosts with transformation powers. So far, he had transformed into a rabbit plushie by Gmagicard, a metal bell by Troublestretch, a bat by Batata, and an orange rectangle by Criangle.
    • He is not immune to ghosts whose powers can force people to dance uncontrollably. This happened to him twice; first by Creepop and later by Panikokado.
    • Despite being an android, he was also affected by Boopsie since he became clumsy and suffered from a system malfunction after Krush accidentally fired his fractal powers at him.
  • "Somnibou" marks the first time Glowboo has ever turned against the Ghostforce. However, this happened because he had malware that Mike mistakenly installed in his system.
  • In "Paniclick", Glowboo mentioned that his internal database doesn't include technology that was made in the 1980s, which he considered the decade to be "ancient". Because he was designed around the 2000s and built in the 2010s, it resulted in him not recognizing nor knowing how to operate any technology that was invented before his creation.
  • The only episode that Glowboo doesn't appear in after his debut is "Glougloux". However, if you count the episode in production order, then "Zipzap" can be included.
  • The only episodes where Glowboo is unable to participate in a mission with the team are "Chronoklok", "Katastroph", and "Jinjoke".
  • While the main trio is commonly credited as the heroes of Manhattan, Glowboo only has a smaller amount of acknowledgment by the Manhattanites. Whenever various people do things to show recognition and appreciation to the Ghostforce, such as in-universe merchandise, Glowboo is always left out. However, as of "Gumglue", Charlie would acknowledge Glowboo whenever she live-streamed a ghost attack on her Ghost Blog to get more people to recognize him.
    • A possible reason for Glowboo having less acknowledgment than the main trio is that he constantly suffered from glitches during his early life as a superhero and his teammates are always the ones capturing a ghost. Despite this, Glowboo seems to be building his recognition over time since he's no longer dealing with unexpected system errors anymore. Whenever he rescued a civilian from a ghost attack, said civilian would thank him and recognize him as being part of the Ghostforce. He's later featured in a live news broadcast in "Biballoon" when Myst announced that she'll be sharing her Medal of Honor with the rest of the team.
  • Glowboo is the only member of the Ghostforce to not regularly wield a weapon since he always uses Solarboo's powers for attacks. The only weapon he's seen wielding is the Freonic Ghost Blaster in "Prehistorrible".
  • Glowboo is also currently the only member to not summon the ghost that fuels his armor. The official Ghostforce website stated that he would release Solarboo for his finishing move to weaken a wild ghost, but it was never seen in the series yet. His finishing move would likely be featured in Season 2 as he continues to be given more upgrades to have a larger Boo Energy storage before he can release Solarboo.
