Trivia[]

  • This is the third time a ghost is awakened in the beginning before the title card, following "Sporofungus" and "Chronoklok".
  • This is the first episode where Mr. Vladovsky is seen outside the school. As part of his vampire-like mannerisms, he uses an umbrella to shield himself from the sun.
  • Although the class is taking a field trip to the Kasenti Tower, Nolan Kasenti himself doesn't appear in this episode.
  • This episode features the first hint of Mr. Vladovsky's connection with Mr. Kasenti. It was later revealed in "Panikokado" that the principal works for Mr. Kasenti on a plan involving the wild ghosts.
    • In this episode, Mr. Vladovsky takes the class on a field trip to the Kasenti Tower, likely so he can have a secret meeting with Mr. Kasenti.
    • When Breathrill terrorizes everyone at the Kasenti Tower and many people run away in fear, Mr. Vladovsky doesn't panic nor follow his students after seeing the ghost. However, he is bewildered when he sees Lieutenant Callaghan foolishly use a spray can that causes Breathrill to merge with it.
  • Bobby's involvement with the graffiti vandalism was foreshadowed at the beginning of the episode. He is noticeably absent from the class field trip, which is something Andy noticed, and it's revealed a few seconds later that the class discovered a Drake graffiti at the Kasenti Tower.
  • Although Bobby graffitied various buildings to show his appreciation for Drake, his actions are illegal since it's a Class A misdemeanor in the state of New York.[5] He doesn't have permission from any of the property owners to make graffiti of Drake and was even in possession of the spray cans he used for his crimes. According to the New York Penal Law 145.60, Bobby would have been landed with a three-year probation term if he got caught by the police. He would have also been prosecuted by all the property owners he vandalized, especially Mr. Kasenti since the latter is a major public figure in the city, as well as required to pay a huge fine and restitution for his acts.[6]
  • Mike's comment revealed that Drake isn't a good artist. When he mentioned when Drake created a self-portrait during art class, his classmates thought his head was a potato.
  • This is the sixth instance where Glowboo arrives late to assist the team on a mission after "Arakgum", "Artiflame", "Xhypno", "Gmagicard", and "Bubble-Brush". This time, the reason is that Miss Jones accidentally trapped Glowboo after she dropped a Boo Energy tube and it exploded in front of him.
  • This is the fifth episode where a wild ghost almost leaves Manhattan when it attacks the Brooklyn Bridge after "Artiflame", "Chronoklok", "Creepop", and "Somnibou".
  • Glowboo is the only member of the team who didn't get covered in spray paint by Graffurious.
  • This episode marks the first time a variation of the main trio's ghost-summoning sequence is seen. Here, Myst releases Octocat while she is covered in green paint caused by Graffurious.
