Grump King is a level 9 pumpkin-like wild ghost from the strange family.
In "Grump King", it was awakened from its nest on the roof of Baker residence, after Andy Baker decided to dispel his fears out of curiosity by opening the lid of the metal chest.

Kawai form[]
Grump King is a orange smaller pumkin version with an extra leaf part underneath its belly.
Booster form[]
When in booster mode, Grump King resembles a large pumpkin with a cut-out hole in its mouth, glowing from the inside. It has four thirds of the roots and two plant leaves as a head.
Abilities[]
This ghost has numerous innate abilities shared across its species, such as:
- Flight: This ghost is able to fly in its basic and booster forms, the only exception is when it is trapped in one of the Boo Capsules.
- Intangibility: This ghost can phase through walls, floors, and generally solid objects. It can also phase through humans and animals, but that usually causes their power to work on them when doing so.
- Digestion: By digesting food, this ghost can gain alternative versions of its booster mode and will gain different but enchaned powers than the ones in their basic forms.
- Possession: By possessing objects, this ghost gain alternative versions of its booster mode and will gain different but enchaned powers than the ones in its basic form.
Grump King is a plant based, shapeshifting, illusionist "Master of Fears" pumpkin ghost who has the unique power to show a person's fear when they are flashed by it's eyes and turn them into halloween monsters.

Overall, Grump King is an enemy of the Ghostforce team who's trying to capture it and every other wild ghost in Manhattan to prevent it from causing any destructive chaos all over the city. The ghost first encountered the trio after it freed unknowingly on the Baker's terrace. Upon switching to booster mode Grump King became hostile towards the Ghostforce trio and has attempted to flash them while the ghost caused chaos all over Manhattan. It flashed Crush and Myst, showing them their fears and turning them into halloween monsters. Eventually, it was captured by Fury and Grump King was relocated to the Ghost Cloud in Miss Jones' underground laboratory.
