Trivia[]

  • This is the eighth time a ghost is awakened in the beginning before the title card, following "Sporofungus", "Chronoklok", "Graffurious", "Levisfer", "Sandyrok", "Hypnolion", and "Jinjoke".
  • In the prologue, the delivery box features a Basket magazine issue and a Solar-Man comic issue on top. The Basket magazine was previously seen in "Pharaok", while two copies of the Solar-Man issue was previously owned by both Andy and Liv in "Raijin", "Burghorror", and "Paniclick".
  • After Gumglue causes the deliverywoman's hands to be stuck onto the street, the man that would be the ghost's next victim wears a shirt that features Ladybug's logo from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
  • Both Professor Pascal and Asta only appear at the beginning and the end of the episode. Professor Pascal was chasing after Asta in another area of the museum after the dog got scared by a chameleon. When Gumglue later attacked the museum, it sealed the door with its power and locked the two out from where the students were.
  • At the museum, Mike was visibly afraid when he and Andy examined a spider. This is because he has arachnophobia which is first seen in "Arakgum".
    • The spiders shown in the museum's exhibit are the same species as the one the students studied in that episode. As revealed by Rajat, despite resembling black widows, the spiders are revealed to be harmless.
    • Coincidentally, both episodes feature the team capturing a ghost with abilities that can cause people to get stuck.
  • The Dragons jersey Liv ordered for Andy has a logo similar to the Dragon Venom energy drink from "Scream Scratch". This indirectly revealed that Dragon Venom was made to promote Dragons, a professional basketball team Michael Collins is a part of.
  • While it isn't directly stated in the episode, the reason why the Dragons jersey wasn't delivered to Liv at the beginning is that it was in the delivery truck when Gumglue attacked the deliverywoman by trapping her hands on the street. Because of this, it prevented her from delivering the jersey in time until after the ghost's capture.
  • Not counting the background students, this is the first episode where eight of the main trio's notable classmates all have a speaking role.
  • This episode directly stated to the audience that Miss Jones has Boo Energy in her DNA because she's a half-ghost.
  • This is the first episode where Krush doesn't appear. The reason is that Mike must stay behind so the team can throw their classmates off their trail to prevent any suspicion that they are members of the Ghostforce.
    • In addition, this is the second episode where only one member of the Ghostforce trio isn't seen in their superhero identity. The first one was Fury in "Mastaar".
    • As a result, this is the second episode where the transformation sequence only features Andy and Liv, following "Burghorror".
  • This is the second episode where a wild ghost negatively impacts the Upper New York Bay with its attack, following "Krik-Krok". Here, Gumglue caused parts of the bay to be covered in glue.
  • This is the sixth episode where a wild ghost almost leaves Manhattan when it attacks the Brooklyn Bridge after "Artiflame", "Chronoklok", "Creepop", "Somnibou", and "Graffurious".

Errors[]

  • Despite Myst summoning Octocat at the Brooklyn Bridge to weaken Gumglue, a repeated cutscene shows the attack happened in midtown Manhattan behind the Empire State Building.
