We've got a Level 8 ghost on the loose called Levisfer. And hold onto your hats, 'cause it can modify gravity. Thanks to its power, it reverses the gravitational attraction on our planet. In other words, we'll all rise towards the stratosphere if you don't stop it!

Miss Jones, "Levisfer"

Levisfer is a Level 8 wild ghost from the molecular family.

In "Levisfer", it was awakened from its nest after a man accidentally dropped his phone onto the bowling ball.

Appearance[]

Kawai mode[]

Levisfer is a purple ghost that resembles a bowling ball with a pair of glowing white eyes. It has four big rounded limbs on its sides and a spike on its head.

Booster mode[]

In its booster mode, Levisfer gains a body, a pair of arms, and a leg that are made out of large purple spheres.

History[]

Season 1[]

Levisfer 013

At an unknown point, Levisfer found a bowling ball and started using it as a nest. In "Levisfer", a civilian at Central Park accidentally dropped his phone into the sewers where it bounced onto the bowling ball. This disturbed Levisfer from its slumber that it briefly levitated the surrounding objects around the bowling ball. However, because the phone landed on the bowling ball at a tremendous height, Levisfer had woken up and left the sewers.

Levisfer peeked out from the ground at Central Park where the New York Science Fair was held. The ghost noticed Rajat's Robo-Baker and levitated it in amusement, catching the Ghostforce's attention. It let out a laugh before it came out and spooked everyone with its presence. It then went on a rampage by levitating various people and objects in its path, gaining Boo Energy that can allow the four round spots on its sides to orbit around the ghost. This prevented the Ghostforce from capturing Levisfer in one of the three Boo Caps since the ghost unknowingly deflected them away and went into booster mode.

The boosted Levisfer proceeded to create a vortex of non-existent gravity at East 27th Street and caused everything caught inside to be suspended in the air. It finally noticed the Ghostforce after they saved the New Yorkers from its attack, so it headed to 5th Avenue and created another anti-gravity vortex. It was about to head to Times Square, but Krush tried to attack it with his fractal ice. Levisfer dodged each incoming projectile but it decided to mess with the heroes for a bit. The ghost separated four limbs from its body and made each of the Ghostforce members travel at a very fast speed around Manhattan before dropping them on the ground.

Later, the Ghostforce was stalling Levisfer in the sky while Krush worked on his electromagnetic bubble transmitter to weaken it. The ghost eventually flew up at Times Square and created a giant anti-gravity zone that lifted the entirety of lower and midtown Manhattan in the air. While the two regions were about to head to the stratosphere, Levisfer noticed Krush was approaching with his invention in his hands. It tried to attack Krush with its limbs, but Krush was able to activate the transmitter and trap the ghost inside a gravity well that caused each of Levisfer's limbs to drop onto the ground and stun it. This allowed Fury to release Dragoyle and deboosted it to its kawai mode before capturing it, restoring Manhattan to normal. Levisfer was later sent to the Ghost Cloud where it now resides with the other captive ghosts.

While Levisfer didn't appear in "Mascarade", Miss Jones used its Boo Energy to create an anti-gravity trampoline as a science experiment.

Abilities[]

  • Levitation: Levisfer can levitate itself in both its kawai and booster modes.
  • Intangibility: Levisfer can phase through solid objects. The only exceptions are when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.

Levisfer can reverse gravitation force to any objects or living beings it comes into contact with. When it enters booster mode, Levisfer's limbs can be used to attack its enemies and create an anti-gravity vortex that resembles a tornado.

Trivia[]

  • The pronunciation of Levisfer's name is a portmanteau of the English words "levitate" and "fear".
  • Levisfer was first revealed during the Ghostforce Advent Calendar, an Instagram promotional event that was held in December 2021.[1]
  • Its nest being a bowling ball not only reflects Levisfer's physical appearance but it also makes sense in terms of the ghost's ability to modify gravity. Bowling balls have a large amount of mass because they are weighted between 6 and 16 pounds, so it has a larger gravitational force compared to other lighter objects.
  • The way Levisfer's round spots briefly orbit around the ghost's kawai mode makes a heavy resemblance to electrons surrounding an atom's nucleus.
  • Not counting Meta&Lix who can attract magnetic objects, Levisfer and Ninja Ki are the only known molecular ghosts who have the power of levitation.
