Mike, we've got a two-times-seven situation here! No, I'm talking about two ghosts, each Level 7. Meta and Lix work as a magnetic pair; one attracts and the other repels. Oh, it affects metal and Boo Energy!

Miss Jones, "Meta&Lix"

Meta and Lix (known collectively known as Meta&Lix) are a pair of Level 7 wild ghosts from the molecular family.

In "Meta&Lix", they were both awakened from their shared nest after Alice Spancer tried pulling the spike boot off a mailbox.

Appearances[]

Kawai modes[]

Meta and Lix are rectangular-shaped ghosts with four white fangs and a large fastener hex nut floating above their head. The only way to distinguish the twins individually is their color schemes; Meta is red, while Lix is blue.

Booster mode[]

In their booster modes, the twins fuse into a singular being. It has a magnet block as its face, a giant U-shaped magnet on its head that resembles a pair of horns, two fastener hex nuts that serve as a pair of limbs, and a magnet block as its body. Its eyes represent their components; its left red eye is Meta's, while the blue right eye is Lix's.

History[]

Season 1[]

Meta&Lix 007

At an unknown point in time, the twins found a pair of spike boots and began using one of them as their nest. In "Meta&Lix", the boots were being delivered by Mark at 5th Avenue when the Ghostforce flew past him after a mission. While waving at the heroes, he accidentally dropped the pair's nest onto the sidewalk and didn't notice it because he walked away. Meta and Lix were both briefly disturbed from their slumber that the boot attracted itself to a nearby New York Postal Service mailbox.

Later, Alice Spancer was about to place an envelope into the mailbox when she noticed the boot was blocking the slot. She pulled the boot off the mailbox and it landed on the sidewalk, but her action awakened Meta and Lix who scared everyone at 5th Avenue and ingested their fears. The twins then split up to explore different areas around Manhattan and strike twice as much fear; Meta headed north, while Lix explored Times Square. Their attacks alerted the Ghostforce after Andy Baker and Mike Collins noticed Meta had stolen various metal objects, including Rajat because he was stuck onto a basketball hoop, around the NYC Dunk.

When Meta was about to reach Central Park, it suddenly heard Fury rescuing Rajat from behind. So, it turned around and charged towards Fury and Krush to attack them. The ghost stopped when Krush threw a Boo Cap towards it, but a wrench that Meta was levitating knocked it away. Lix then arrived and repelled the two heroes before they could capture it. With the twins reunited, they fused into their booster mode and became Meta&Lix.

Meta&Lix 190

The fusion ghost headed to the American Museum of Natural History and terrorized everyone by attracting all the exhibitions, but its attack alerted Liv Baker who sneaked away from Jane and transformed into Myst. After Meta&Lix repelled an incoming spectral arrow, it attracted Myst's armor before repelling her away too. However, Glowboo came to her rescue and brought her back to 5th Avenue where Fury and Krush were waiting for her.

Meta&Lix 233

The four heroes were unable to fight Meta&Lix because the latter's abilities could protect itself from their attacks, so the ghost chased after them at 5th Avenue. Eventually, the chase ended outside of Creepy Ghost where the heroes created a giant Boo Energy replica of Molano Freddo's eternal spiral that fully stunned the ghost. This allowed Krush to release Growmax and deboost the twins back to their kawai modes before capturing them. Meta and Lix were both later sent to the Ghost Cloud where they now reside with the other captive ghosts.

Abilities[]

  • Levitation: Meta and Lix can levitate in their kawai and booster modes.
  • Intangibility: Meta and Lix can phase through solid objects. The only exception is when they are trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.

Meta can attract metal objects, while Lix can repel them. However, when they fuse into a singular being, it combines their components' powers to attack their enemies.
