The episode starts off with the Ghostforce returning to New York City as they had appeared to have saved the city once again, people on the streets start cheering their names to honor them, as they are about to head off they do their team logo while the people are watching them, they once fly again before departing. In the audience, Mark sees this while getting boxes from a cart, while unknowingly had dropped a boot which starts to move and it sticks to a mailbox. Then, the Ghostforce return to their school. Inside they see if anyone is looking and it appears no one is looking so they detransform in their lockers back into Andy, Liv and Mike. As they get out, Liv compliments all of them that they had did it once again, Andy whom has a cookie with him says that he will start of the day by eating his cookie which he does. Suddenly, Stacy and Jane appears and Stacy mocks the group of them always being together. Andy responds with the same thing back at them saying that they also stick together on the hips, which the girls deny and says that their hips are separated. Professor Pascal appears to them with Asta, saying that they had thought of a good idea for today's morning class.

In the next scene, Jane is complaining to her sister that it is unfair that she got Drake and she got Liv as her partner. Which Liv hears this and looks at her in disbelief. Professor Pascal starts to speak about the assignment as they are supposed to learn about what they have in common with their assigned partner.

Trivia[]

  • This is the second episode that shows the aftermath of the Ghostforce capturing an off-screen ghost, following "Pharaok".
    • The beginning of the episode reveals that the team captured a wild ghost early in the morning before the start of class.
  • Following the capture of an off-screen ghost, an infinity symbol is seen after he and his teammates created their emblem using the light from their speed trail. The infinity symbol is later seen both after Meta and Lix are awakened and when they switch to booster mode.
  • After the main trio arrives back at the school, Andy is seen eating a cookie. The cookie possibly foreshadows the next episode "Cookieflame".
  • Andy sarcastically refers to Stacy "the girl who's joined at the hip with her sister" after she mocked him and his friends. This foreshadows Meta&Lix fusing into one ghost when in booster mode.
  • Professor Pascal assigns all his students to work in unlikely pairs for his class. The pairs mainly consist of individuals with contrasting personalities who get along once they know each other better. While Meta and Lix have opposing powers, they become stronger when they are together in booster mode.
  • When Jane says her hips are independent from Stacy, it foreshadows the revelation that she genuinely sees herself as her own person and doesn't like being around her sister. She also only speaks in unison after Stacy denies Andy's accusation, hinting the twins don't always sync together.
  • It's revealed Carla is interested in finding treasures containing paranormal anomalies with her metal detector.
  • This is the second episode that featured more than one wild ghost after "Katastroph". Here, instead of triplets, the featured wild ghosts are a pair of twins.
    • It also confirmed that ghosts with siblings can have either one or more heads when in booster mode. While the Katastroph triplet can merge into a hydra-like ghost with three heads, Meta and Lix can fuse into a one-headed ghost.
  • This episode confirms Jane is nicer than Stacy and is only pretending to be like her sister to gain her approval. There are subtle clues in previous episodes that foreshadow it.
    • In both "Mastaar" and "Arakgum", Jane is always seen "agreeing" with Stacy whenever the latter makes a snobbish comment instead of saying her own opinion.
    • In "Arakgum", she gratefully thanked Fury for rescuing her after the team captured Arakgum. This is unlike her sister who brushed the heroes off.
    • Jane is the only twin absent in "Xhypno" and doesn't follow Stacy to the Solar-Man: The Movie shoot. This implied similar to how Jane visited the museum by herself, she was independently doing her own thing away from her sister during the events of that episode.
    • In "Katastroph", Stacy and Jane don't cheer for the same person during a basketball match between Drake and Andy.
  • Stacy is revealed to have a crush on Drake when she hugs him from the back. Judging Drake's uncomfortable expression, he doesn't seem to return her feelings.
  • Carla mentioned that she heard an urban legend about a "pirate treasure buried in the city". While not exactly buried, her comment foreshadows "Piraniak" where she would discover an old treasure chest that is a nest for the titular ghost.
    • Another foreshadowing would be "Grump King" where she would discover an antique box that served as the titular ghost's nest that was originally buried somewhere at Central Park in the early 18th century.
  • This is the fourth episode where the transformation sequence only features Andy and Mike after "Mikroo", "Chronoklok", and "Jellystery".
  • When Myst meets her teammates after being rescued by Glowboo, a billboard advertising Serge Lightman and the Solar-Man cologne is seen on the street.
