Ghostforce Wiki
Mike Collins is a member of the Ghostforce.
This article is about a main character. You may be looking for his father Michael Collins or the webisode.

Michael "Mike" Collins, Jr. is one of the three main protagonists of Ghostforce (alongside Andy Baker and Liv Baker). He is a student in Professor Pascal's class at the NYC school located in Manhattan, New York City. He is also the son of Michael Collins, Sr., a famous and wealthy New York Dragons basketball player.

With his Ghostforce medallion, when fueled by Growmax's Boo Energy, Mike transforms into the superhero Krush and gains fractal ice powers to capture every wild ghost in Manhattan.

Appearance[]

Mike is a stout eleven-year-old boy with yellow eyes and dark brown hair. He also wears a pair of dark gray glasses.

Season 1[]

Mike wore a white long-sleeved T-shirt underneath a short-sleeved blue flannel shirt. The design on the front of Mike's T-shirt is a molecule with eight atoms: the bottom left and upper right atoms are blue, the middle left atom is green, and the middle right atom is pink. His trousers are dark purple and have lighter purple hems, while his sneakers are gray with white shoelaces and toe tips. His hairstyle was originally a buzz cut, and he used to wear glasses with round frames.

Season 2[]

As revealed in a screenshot for the upcoming second season, he wears a blue flannel hoodie. His hair has grown and styled into curls, and he now wears glasses with large rectangular frames.

As Krush[]

Krush wears a blue Ghostforce armor with a full-cover mask, gauntlets, and knee-high boots. On his chest is his medallion that allows him to transform.

Personality[]

Mike is intelligent, loyal, sensitive, introverted, and tender.[4] Described to be a "science and technology buff", Mike is recognized as one of the top students in the class. However, he doesn't like to be underestimated for being the youngest, as evident in "Mikroo", and has managed to impress his peers with his intellect on several occasions. He is also an avid gamer with his favorite being Spook Out, having once become addicted to it because he wanted to fight against his loneliness.

Levisfer 028

It is hinted in "Gmagicard" that Mike sees everyone around him has a recognizable trait that defines who they are; Andy/Fury is the "funny one", while Liv/Myst is the "bravest". As a result, he is currently struggling with low self-esteem and believes he's supposed to be the "brainiac". He studies hard for his schoolwork and would accept any challenges where he must solve a problem, such as decoding Carpenter's notes and figuring out Professor Pascal's card trick, as a way to prove himself and be validated. This causes him to become stubborn in certain situations and get easily frustrated whenever something doesn't work exactly as planned. However, Mike would always learn from his mistakes and is willing to listen to his teammates on how he can improve his self-worth. In "Levisfer", he participated in the science fair and wanted to fix his electromagnetic bubble transmitter by himself because he was worried asking for help would imply he wasn't smarter than Rajat — though, he later took Miss Jones's advice to his heart that there is no shame in needing help, especially those who have expert knowledge.

Because of his father's reputation as a New York Dragon basketball star, Mike greatly suffers from self-confidence issues and is very shy around his peers. He used to believe nobody would like his true self and only saw him as just a son of Michael Collins. This was reinforced by his classmates who used to only call him by his nickname "Junior" instead of his real name. It was also presumed during his childhood that his peers only wanted to befriend him out of interest to get closer to his father.[5] As a result, Mike was very lonely and didn't have anyone to turn for support. However, ever since he met the Baker siblings, he began to express himself and slowly grew his confidence that most of his classmates have come to accept him for who he is and understand him better.

While Mike manages to finally make friends, he still hates the idea of being alone. He is currently being raised by his father, but Mr. Collins's constantly busy schedule prevents them from spending time together. So, Mike began seeing the Ghostforce as a chance to grow into a family he had chosen for himself. Andy and Liv, especially, are like the brother and sister he always wanted since they are the first people who know about his struggles. As seen in both "Paniclick" and "Panikokado", he would often visit the Bakers since he feels welcomed by them and even wants to join their family activities. When a misunderstanding made him doubt his friendship with Andy and Liv on the night of Christmas, Mike almost ran away from home because he thought nobody cared about him anymore. He later apologized to them and even accepted a group hug from both Myst and Glowboo since he agreed that the team is like a family to him.

Mike is very sensitive and has a hard time hiding his emotions during times when he feels overwhelmed. He may be good at keeping secrets about himself and the Baker siblings being members of the Ghostforce, but he is a terrible liar whenever he makes excuses and/or denies anything. He tries to bottle up his emotions whenever he is extremely upset and refuses to talk about it, as evident in "Sandyrok", but his loved ones would eventually take notice. His sensitivity often leads to him making impulsive decisions and not thinking rationally about his actions. One notable incident was in "Dunky Boss" when he signed up as a last-minute participant for a basketball dunking contest (despite not being an athlete) because he was desperate to win a day with his father, even taking a ghost out of the lab as part of his plan.

As described by Myst in "Chaorion", what is considered to be Mike's biggest traits are his kindness, loyalty, and courage. He is very caring towards people he trusts, especially his best friends, and wants to be there for them. His loyalty was put to a test in "Burghorror" when he must decide whether to help Charlie with her Ghost Blog or save the city from the titular ghost after the rest of his teammates were down. He eventually chose the latter and left Charlie at Times Square before transforming into Krush — Fury and Myst both returned the favor by recording his fight against Burghorror on Charlie's phone to prevent her from finding out his secret. Mike is usually non-judgemental and empathic, wanting to reach out to his loved ones whenever he sees them upset and help them feel better. He would also sometimes act as a mediator for the Baker siblings and try to resolve any major disagreement, especially if it occurs in the middle of their mission. However, he does have his limits and tends to jump to conclusions if his feelings get hurt by his loved ones.

As Krush, most of his personality remains the same, but he is braver and gains a lot more confidence. He believes being part of the Ghostforce is an opportunity for him to become stronger and more useful than he is in his civilian life. His protectiveness becomes much more prominent and he wants to do whatever he can to save everyone, especially his father, from the ghost attacks.

When he first became Krush, he thought it would make him fearless since he gets to hide his identity behind the mask. He is fully aware that ghosts can be dangerous since they can ingest people's fears to become stronger. So, Krush avoids showing any signs of weakness during a mission to prevent himself from becoming vulnerable to them. The only time he was shown to be afraid was in "Arakgum" when he was unable to fight the titular ghost because it resembled a spider. He wasn't subtle about trying to hide from it and confessed to Miss Jones that he believed he wasn't cut out to be Krush because of his arachnophobia. Upon being advised that superheroes can get scared too, Krush was encouraged to face his fears and successfully capture Arakgum. In "Batata", he wanted to prove that he could be braver than his civilian self. He ended up becoming reckless and losing all of his Boo Energy while attempting to fight Batata alone inside its sphere. He also revealed to Fury and Myst that he believed his fractal powers are what makes him Krush; without them, he would be just Mike. However, the Baker siblings both revealed that they already saw him as brave in both of his identities. This motivated Krush to venture back inside the sphere and use the Ghost Lighter to weaken Batata so his teammates could capture it.

Krush serves as the Defender and councilor within the Ghostforce where he would come up with plans to attack a ghost based on its characteristics and abilities. However, he still retains his habit of wanting everything to be precise. In both "Sporofungus" and "Bubble-Brush", the Baker siblings were unable to understand him since his directions came off as convoluted — though, after following Glowboo's advice, Krush learns that he must communicate properly about his attack strategies and accepts they might not always work. He is even willing to listen to Fury's and Myst's ideas whenever he has trouble deciding what they should do.

As the series progresses, Mike's experience as Krush helps him to become more courageous and stand up to people like Drake Miller and Mr. Vladovsky. He starts to be more open towards his friends and family by communicating with them about his insecurities, even asking them for their help when needed. This allows him to slowly understand who he is and learn to love himself as much as he loves others.

Abilities[]

Skillsets[]

  • Intelligence: Despite being only eleven years old, Mike is very smart and had skipped a grade level to attend middle school. He is currently one of the top students in the class, alongside his frenemy Rajat.
    • Programming: Mike is good at creating codes and algorithms. He once wrote a code in "Somnibou" that was supposed to unlock nearly all of Glowboo's hidden features after attempting to decipher Carpenter's notes. As revealed in "Panikokado", Miss Jones once taught him a technique on how to debug a program by applying an inverted logic of a system code. He later used this knowledge to fix Nolan Kasenti's drone program and unwittingly helped the latter with his evil plan.
    • Engineering: Because of his interest in gadgets and technology, Mike has demonstrated to be skilled in engineering. He managed to make it to the final round of the science fair in "Levisfer" where he invented the electromagnetic bubble transmitter. He later participated in the KassKorp Industry's Best Engineer competition and was awarded first place, as mentioned in "Panikokado". Mike can also upgrade existing technology and make it something new. He first began tweaking Carla's metal detector in "Meta&Lix" before he eventually turned it into a bizarro detector at some point before "Piraniak".
  • Drumming: Mike is the drummer of the Boo Fighters.
  • Swimming: Although Mike isn't seen swimming, he has a pool on the rooftop of the Collins Tower. Near the end of "Vochaos", Krush begins to give Andy/Fury swimming lessons.
  • Dancing: Mike is a skilled dancer that he manages to impress his classmates near the end of "Creepop". It's presumed his dancing skills allow him to have high agility in both his civilian and superhero identities.

Krush's Ghostforce armor[]

Krush's Ghostforce armor has multiple features, including:

  • Scanner: The suit can scan Boo Energy signatures from a ghost for Krush to track where it's heading and sometimes send the sample to Miss Jones.
  • Comm-links: Instead of using his ghostphone as Krush, the suit has built-in comm-links so he can communicate with Miss Jones and his teammates.
  • Boo Map: The suit has a built-in Boo Map feature for Krush to track the location of a ghost's Boo Energy signature in the series.
  • Storage: The medallion from the suit can store multiple objects. This includes Boo Caps and his Fractal Mace weapon. Whenever Krush is ready to capture a ghost, he would teleport a Boo Cap from the suit's built-in storage onto the palm of his gauntlet. He also stores Growmax's Boo Cap for his finishing move against a wild ghost.
  • Phosphorescence: Like his teammates, Krush's armor glows brightly in dark places.
  • Gadget Download: Whenever Miss Jones sends a Boo Technology gadget from the lab to Krush, said gadget would come out from his medallion.

Boo Energy[]

When Mike transforms into Krush with the use of his medallion, he would gain a suit of armor that is infused with Growmax's Boo Energy.

  • Flight: The armor allows Krush to fly and hover in the air.
  • Intangibility: When activating this power, Krush can phase through walls, floors, and generally solid objects.
  • Superhuman Strength: According to the 2021 Ghostforce brand deck by Ypsilon Films, Growmax's Boo Energy allows Krush to perform feats of strength.[6]
  • Fractal Ice: Krush can generate ice with the touch of his gauntlets. However, he must concentrate on holding onto this power to maintain its form, or else the ice will shatter if he ever lets go.
  • Fractal Blast: Krush can release ice from his gauntlets onto his targets.

However, his Boo Energy can get drained if he uses up too much power during missions. According to him in "Dinozos", it usually takes a few hours for his medallion to be fully charged with Growmax's Boo Energy.

History[]

Pre-Season 1[]

Mike Collins was born to Michael Collins and an unnamed mother. His mother's current whereabouts are unclear since she was never mentioned in the series, so Mike has been raised by his father who is a famous basketball player for the New York Dragons. He also has a grandmother who would make strawberry jams for him during his childhood.

Season 1[]

While the details from "Origins" haven't been revealed yet, Mike skipped a grade level and began attending Professor Pascal's class at the NYC school. He eventually met and befriended the Baker siblings — Andy and Liv — who both recently moved to Manhattan from California. He also developed a crush on one of his classmates named Charlie. At one point, the trio later met Miss Jones and managed to convince her to let them replace her as new members of the Ghostforce to protect the borough from ghosts. Since then, Mike has been an active member of the Ghostforce as the superhero Krush and serves as the team strategist.

From "Bananice" to "Zipzap", the second iteration of the Ghostforce originally consisted of himself, Andy/Fury, and Liv/Myst.

Zipzap 031

In "Zipzap", Mike began playing a popular video game called Spook Out to fight his loneliness because he was convinced that he had nothing in common with his father. He was known under the alias "Sir Spooks-a-Lot" and managed to reach first place. While playing the game at Central Park, he overheard Charlie and Rajat talking about a new player known as "The Slammer" who managed to rank third on the scoreboard. Mike took it as a challenge which worried both Andy and Liv since their classmates had all become completely addicted to the game. He was so distracted that he didn't notice a ghost known as Zipzap was awakened and hypnotized their classmates with its hypno flash. Zipzap was about to dive straight to Mike's phone, but the Baker siblings managed to push him out of the way in time.

Zipzap 101

Despite the Ghostforce having to chase Zipzap around Manhattan, Mike was still determined to beat his high score so he continued playing Spook Out after transforming into Krush. His addiction ended up causing hindrance to the team because he almost got hypnotized by Zipzap in an expressway tunnel. It wasn't until the trio were at Times Square that Krush finally got his eyes off his phone and saw his father was there. He tried to save his father from Zipzap, but he was too late because the ghost haunted a giant advertisement billboard at One Times Square and went into booster mode.

Zipzap 204

The trio was having trouble fighting the boosted Zipzap because it could easily hypnotize people with its eyes. Krush ended up losing both Fury and Myst because of this, to which he realized it was his fault that he became distracted with his game and not focusing on the mission. Luckily for him, Miss Jones managed to invent a new gadget called Viseo-Ghost in time that could help him fight Zipzap without looking at it. He was then guided by Miss Jones on where he was going and managed to successfully weaken Zipzap before capturing it.

Zipzap 253

With Mike learning his lesson from his experience, he decided to take a break from playing Spook Out. On the following day, Mr. Collins took him to school and was parking his car at the front of the building. Mike noticed his father was on his phone and told him that he should avoid too much screen time. However, much to his surprise, his father revealed that he was playing Spook Out and was "The Slammer" who had beaten his high score the day before. Realizing that he had something in common with his father after all, Mike suggested that they should hang out after school, to which Mr. Collins happily agreed. He then got out of the car and shared the great news with the Baker siblings.

In "Raijin", Mike was asked by Charlie if he would like to go for a walk with her since it's her birthday. He agreed since it was his chance to hang out with his crush. However, he suddenly became worried because he wanted to give her a present but didn't know what he should buy. He was at Lexington Avenue when he saw Liv heading out of the Baker residence and begged for her help since she's friends with Charlie. Liv agreed and the two quickly rushed to East 27th Avenue.

Raijin 073

Mike was thinking of purchasing an electronic accessory for Charlie since she regularly used her cellphone for the Ghost Blog, but Liv suggested something "less geeky" like flowers. Mike was confused about it, but Liv quickly pulled him away from the camera store because she was in a hurry. They then suddenly received a call from Miss Jones about a surprise she was preparing for the team right when the Boo Map alerted her about Raijin's awakening at the Brooklyn Bridge. Mike quickly transformed into Krush and headed to the bridge with Myst.

Raijin 125

The trio was too late since Raijin ingested enough fear at the bridge and went into booster mode. After the ghost created a large lightning storm, Krush learned that Mr. and Mrs. Baker were the ones indirectly awakening Raijin because they were tired of waiting for Liv to bring them a camera battery. This caught Krush off-guard since Myst never mentioned it before they both went shopping for Charlie's gift. He asked her why she didn't tell him, to which Myst revealed that she also wanted to help him and figured she could do two things at once to make everybody happy.

Raijin 160

Suddenly, someone in an orange Ghostforce armor arrived and held off Raijin for them. Krush correctly guessed the individual was the surprise Miss Jones mentioned to them earlier and watched the fight that went on. He noticed Raijin briefly recharged itself with the antennae of the Empire State Building and converted the electricity into Boo Energy. Realizing it's the source of the ghost's powers, he and Myst both headed to the building to short-circuit the antennae while Fury provided backup for the person in the orange Ghostforce armor. On their way, Krush overheard from his armor's comm-links that the person had introduced himself to Fury as Glowboo. He and Myst were unable to attack Raijin because it was too strong, but Glowboo helped them by distracting the ghost with his solar powers. This allowed Myst to take down the antennae and capture Raijin.

Raijin 253

Right before Krush could introduce himself to Glowboo, their new team member suddenly made erratic movements before shutting down. After the kids brought Glowboo back to the lab, Miss Jones revealed that he is a computer algorithm programmed by her to fulfill the same mission as them. They also learned that she didn't build Glowboo on her own, but she received help from "an old friend of [hers]". Soon after, Mike received a text from Charlie that their walk was postponed because of Raijin's attack, allowing him more time to find a birthday gift for her.

From "Sharkoak" to "Criangle", Mike started to see the Ghostforce as a family to him. While he and his father are still unable to spend a lot of time together, he has learned to communicate more about his struggles. His relationship with Charlie also grew and they now share a mutual crush on each other.

Burghorror 024

In "Burghorror", Mike volunteered to be Charlie's cameraman for the Ghost Blog as part of Liv's matchmaking plan to get him closer to his crush. When she interviewed Officer Callaghan to learn about his perspective on the Ghostforce, Mike sat on the back seat of the police cruiser and filmed the exchange. He felt exasperated during the ride because he had to listen to Callaghan making false claims about knowing the Ghostforce to boost his already large ego. However, he was at least relieved that Charlie no longer saw Callaghan as a reliable source when the officer suddenly shifted the conversation to be about himself.

Burghorror 132

Before Mike could reach his breaking point with Callaghan, the three all noticed pedestrians suddenly running at 5th Avenue in a panic. He instantly looked out the car window and saw his teammates all flying past him to chase after a ghost known as Burghorror. Mike wanted to help the team immediately but knew he couldn't suddenly leave Charlie without compromising his secret identity and being seen as a coward. So, he was forced to stay with her and recorded the fight as it happened. Upon arriving at the scene, Mike instantly dropped her phone and rushed to protect her from an incoming projectile that Burghorror fired at them. However, Fury intervened and used himself as a shield to prevent the pair from getting trapped.

Burghorror 240

With Myst being the only one left and her Boo Energy about to run out, Mike knew he had no other choice but to bail on Charlie so he could defeat Burghorror. He apologized to her that he couldn't be there to help her before he left her alone, knowing full well that she would be mad at him the next time they saw each other. He then secretly transformed into Krush and easily weakened Burghorror with his fractal powers before capturing it.

Burghorror 269

The next morning at school, Mike waited in dread for Charlie to arrive and berate him for abandoning her at Times Square. Andy assured him that everything would be fine, but before Mike could question what he meant, Charlie marched towards him and told him that they needed to talk. Much to his relief, Charlie wasn't mad at him at all and instead cheerfully showed him a recording of Krush fighting Burghorror. That was when Mike realized when he dropped her phone the day before to protect her from the ghost, the Baker siblings secretly helped him with the footage. He then earned his first kiss from her for being her "hero".

Chronoklok 025

In "Chronoklok", Mike was eating breakfast on the rooftop of the Collins Tower when his father arrived with a surprise. At first, Mike was disinterested and thought his father was going to show off something related to basketball. However, what he didn't expect was Mr. Collins to gift him a Clipit smartwatch, a product that the company hasn't released to the public yet. His father revealed he asked the company to give him the watch because he knew how much Mike loves gadgets and technology. He even pointed out that the watch has a feature that plays pre-recorded basketball quotes at a certain hour. Mike appreciated his father knowing his interest that he gratefully thanked him for the watch and wore it proudly.

Chronoklok 045

Later, at Professor Pascal's classroom, the students all took notice of Mike's new watch after they heard it played a pro-tip. When Charlie asked Mike if she would like to try it on, he sheepishly gave the watch to her and revealed to his classmates that it was a gift from his father. However, Drake was the only one not impressed and believed the watch was for basketball fans. He taunted Mike that his father must have given him the watch in the hope the pro-tips would make him play basketball like him. This caused Mike to become upset since he hadn't talked to his father about his issues and was wrongly convinced that Drake might be right. Just then, a ghost known as Petrifear suddenly appeared in the classroom and caused panic to everyone after it froze Drake into a statue.

Chronoklok 069

While the trio's classmates frantically evacuated the classroom, Mike realized he didn't have his watch since he gave it to Charlie earlier. He finally noticed it had been dropped onto the floor after he heard it play a pro-tip. He tried to get it back, but the watch's pro-tip was played so loudly that it caught Petrifear's attention. The ghost instantly merged with the watch and became Chronoklok, forcing Liv to quickly transform into Myst and create a spectral gate for the trio to get out of the school. They managed to escape in time, but they learned that Chronoklok had created a giant basketball-shaped sphere surrounding the school that petrified everyone inside it. And since Miss Jones's lab was underneath the building, the Ghostforce had to fight Chronoklok without her and Glowboo's help.

Chronoklok 130

After Mike transformed into Krush, he was determined to get the watch back that he thoughtlessly chased after Chronoklok to Times Square. He was about to hit the ghost with his Fractal Mace, but Chronoklok swung its arms and knocked him backward. He was caught by Fury and Myst who both assured him that they'll work together to stop the ghost. After Myst explained the plan, Krush pinned Chronoklok down with his fractal ice while she fired a spectral arrow at its dial. Fury fired a flexi blast at Chronoklok's watch hands but Krush realized it didn't work. The ghost then suddenly started playing a pro-tip that caused Krush to interpret it as his father mocking his self-esteem issues. He was so taken aback by Chronoklok's "taunting" that he accidentally let go of his fractal power, causing the ghost to create another timestop bubble. Myst quickly opened a spectral gate underneath Krush for him and Fury to escape from its attack, but she wasn't able to follow them in time.

Chronoklok 156

Fury scolded Krush for losing focus since they were close to capturing Chronoklok, to which Krush apologized and explained to him his issues. He heard the ghost "talking" to him about following the pro-tips to be like one of the Collins's fans, making him believe that Drake was right about his father possibly giving him the watch not out of love but to secretly pressure him into playing basketball. Fury told him to not listen to the pro-tips and Drake's taunt since they only created a false narrative about his perception of his father.

Chronoklok 178

When the boys finally noticed that Myst wasn't with them, they both headed to the Brooklyn Bridge to fight Chronoklok while sticking to her plan. Krush eventually found out that the ghost's weakness was the watch's internal gears, so he froze the mechanism while Fury held onto the clock's hands. This allowed Fury to release Dragoyle and weaken Chronoklok back to its kawai mode. After the ghost was captured and everything was restored to normal, Krush apologized to Myst for not focusing on the mission since he was upset about Drake making him doubt his father's intention towards his watch. The Baker siblings hugged him to comfort him before Krush headed back to the Collins Tower to have a serious talk with his father.

Chronoklok 252

Upon arriving at the rooftop, Mike was greeted by a hug from his father who expressed his worry about the ghost attack that occurred earlier at school. He told his father about the issues he had with the pro-tips since he's not good at basketball and assumed that it was for him to follow. He was relieved that his father understood and apologized that the pro-tips were meant for the fans, revealing that he would never force Mike to do something he doesn't like since he already loves him for who he is.

Cyclopee 028

In "Cyclopee", the trio were about to leave the school building to find a place to relax after a long day in class. However, Liv suddenly got a call from Miss Jones that they must all come to the lab immediately. The kids thought it was an emergency and quickly headed down from their lockers where the scientist was waiting. They all instead received positive news that Miss Jones had finally improved Glowboo's features after months of research. Mike was about to join Andy in checking out a diagram of the new features that Miss Jones was showing on the computer interface, but he noticed Liv was suddenly feeling upset. He asked her what was wrong, to which Liv expressed her worry about the possibility of Miss Jones not needing the kids anymore and replacing them with Glowboo because of his new features. He reassured her that the scientist would never do such a thing by reminding her that Glowboo would be there to protect them.

Cyclopee 062

Just then, the Boo Map alerted them about Cyclopee's awakening at the school. Because Glowboo was still upgrading, the kids all transformed to deal with the ghost without him. They arrive at the library but are unable to capture Cyclopee after it ingested enough fear from their classmates. And to make their situation worse, the trio learned that its booster form can copy their Boo Energy after it scanned Fury's flexi powers. Krush suggested calling Miss Jones to send Glowboo as backup, but Myst was still worried about the idea of the team being replaced so she rejected the idea, much to his frustration.

Cyclopee 136

The trio then went outside to fight Cyclopee at East 27th Street now that they know its powers come from its eye. Krush made the mistake of showing his Fractal Mace in front of the ghost who instantly created copies of the weapon and proceeded to attack them. Luckily for Krush, Myst created a spectral gate and teleported themselves safely to a 4 Lexington Avenue Express subway station. While Fury was at Times Square to protect the civilians from Cyclopee's attack, Krush once again asked Myst about calling Miss Jones for help. Myst refused and insisted that the team should prove to Miss Jones that they could handle taking care of the ghost without Glowboo. Krush tried to reassure her again, but they were interrupted by Fury calling them for help at Times Square.

Cyclopee 186

Upon their arrival, Myst mistakenly created a spectral gate to rescue Krush from an incoming Fractal Mace, causing the ghost to copy her powers and making things even more difficult for the team. After Fury's Boo Energy was run out, Krush had enough of Myst's stubbornness. He took Fury to safety but not before demanding Myst that she must call Miss Jones right away or he will. He was later relieved when he overheard Myst finally fight back her worry about needing Glowboo as a backup. By the time Krush and Fury went to the Empire State Building to meet up with the two, she managed to successfully capture Cyclopee with their teammate's help.

Cyclopee 281

After the team sent Cyclopee to the Ghost Cloud, Andy showed everyone the diagram from earlier and pointed out some grayed-out features that he had noticed. Miss Jones explained to the kids that they were features that she hadn't been able to decode yet, much to their surprise because they thought she was the one who made Glowboo. She then revealed that her "old friend of [hers]" designed Glowboo and had created notes about his features. However, there are a few notes that aren't deciphered yet and she wants to finish it before Glowboo can reach his full potential. This intrigued Mike since Glowboo would become more advanced if Miss Jones continued to add more features that were written from her friend's notes.

Somnibou 018

In "Somnibou", Mike decided to help Miss Jones with her project because he wanted to unlock more of Glowboo's hidden features that were mentioned in the diagram. He looked through her friend's notes and spent a week trying to decode them alone without telling her and the Baker siblings. After arriving at the lab, he went to the training room where Glowboo was being placed in his recharge chamber and happily explained to him about his breakthrough. He wanted to impress Miss Jones with his work, so with Glowboo's approval, he proceeded to upgrade him as a surprise for the team.

However, he discovered too late that the code he created and installed wasn't correct since it caused Glowboo's circuit to get boggled. He doesn't have time to remove it and fix his mistake because Miss Jones suddenly alerted him about an unknown ghost — later named Somnibou — that was attacking Manhattan. To make his situation worse, she suggested the team take Glowboo as a backup to fight the ghost. A worried Mike tried to convince her that they could handle it without Glowboo's help, but she shot down the idea which left him no choice but to bring a still-glitching Glowboo with them.

Somnibou 070

Throughout their mission, Krush anxiously denied that there was anything wrong with Glowboo whenever Fury and Myst both noticed the android was behaving erratically. After Glowboo briefly misnamed the team as the "Gross Force", Krush tried to play it off as him making a joke but he could tell Fury wasn't convinced. He was about to throw a Boo Cap at the ghost, but Glowboo intervened because he misidentified the object as an imminent danger and knocked it away. This led to the ghost going into booster mode and caused the entire city to become nighttime after ingesting enough fear from the citizens.

Somnibou 162

Krush found Somnibou's weakness was its feather plumage where it stored its sleeping powder. The team was unable to attack the plumage without Glowboo using his bulbsy trick to distract the ghost. After the trio was knocked down into the streets by Somnibou, Myst could tell Glowboo was behaving uncontrollably because they saw him chasing after a seagull and not focusing on their mission. Krush tried to once again deny everything, but it was no use since Miss Jones instantly called and informed them that Glowboo had been "hacked". She told the team that she was going to try removing the code while the kids dealt with both Somnibou and Glowboo. After she ended the call, Krush told the Baker siblings that he'd handle Glowboo by claiming that he knew him like the back of a circuit board.

Somnibou 218

Because Krush was behind the mess, he figured he could talk Glowboo out of it and calm him down. He was unable to do so because Glowboo's system detected him as a "hostile" threat and the android proceeded to fire his solar blasts at Krush. Glowboo chased Krush to the Brooklyn Bridge where Fury and Myst happened to be there. Krush managed to hide from an out-of-control Glowboo behind one of the bridge's suspension towers with the Baker siblings after Myst opened a spectral gate for him. The team then called Miss Jones about her status, to which the scientist mentioned that she was unable to crack the malware since it was password-protected.

Somnibou 284

Krush, knowing he'll be in serious trouble with Miss Jones after the mission, gathered his courage and revealed the password for her, allowing her to get into the system and reboot Glowboo. Krush was about to confess his mistake after Miss Jones questioned his knowledge of the password, but he noticed Somnibou was about to attack Glowboo. Knowing that he must make things right, he quickly came to Glowboo's defense while the android was still rebooting. This led to him getting hit by Somnibou's feathers and falling asleep on the Brooklyn Bridge. He was later awakened after Myst captured Somnibou and was so relieved to see Glowboo back to normal that he hugged him.

Somnibou 292

After the Ghostforce sent Somnibou to the Ghost Cloud, Mike apologized to Miss Jones for not telling her about upgrading Glowboo because he wanted to impress her with his research. Luckily for him, Miss Jones forgave him for his mistake and admitted she was already impressed by his attempt. She then offered Mike a deal where they could both work together to decode the notes since she also had difficulty doing it alone, to which he happily agreed.

Cookieflame 017

In "Cookieflame", Mike asked Charlie out on a date to see the seashell fossils at the American Museum of Natural History. While he was waiting for her at the Grand Army Plaza, Andy approached and asked him if he was interested in training in the lab since Liv was there. He told Andy he couldn't and explained to him about his date with Charlie. However, Andy wasn't impressed since he found going to the museum to not be an ideal date location. This caused Mike to become worried that Charlie might judge him for being boring and not finding seashell fossils to be romantic. He begged Andy for his help, to which his best friend agreed and the two began setting up a picnic date at Central Park instead.

Cookieflame 053

Mike texted Charlie about the change of plans and asked her to meet him at Central Park. He even changed his attire to resemble that of a tuxedo, albeit a black jacket with a white t-shirt with a black tie printed at the front, which he thought was a bit much. However, there was no turning back since Charlie finally arrived at their location. She asked him about the picnic because she thought they already had plans to go to the museum. With Andy supervising from behind a nearby bush, Mike nervously told her that he thought they could have a fancier first date than seeing the seashell fossils.

Cookieflame 086

The pair then overheard Roland shouting in pain because a matchbox he was holding was burning hot. That matchbox turned out to be a nest for a ghost known as Flamagma who was awakened and proceeded to terrorize the nearby parkgoers. Mike noticed that the ghost had ingested enough fear and was about to merge with Roland's barbeque grill. He tried to get Charlie to run and take cover from the attack, but his crush was filming Flamagma for the Ghost Blog. Just then, Andy frantically ran out of his hiding spot and threw a plate of cookies to stop the ghost. Charlie and Mike were both surprised by Andy's action, but what the three all didn't expect was Flamagma to merge with one of the cookies instead and become Cookieflame.

Cookieflame 129

After Andy and Mike transformed, they both met up with Glowboo and Myst at Fifth Avenue while chasing after the ghost. Glowboo detected Krush feeling upset and asked him what was wrong. He told his teammates that his entire first date with Charlie was a disaster, but Fury assured him that they would both fix it after they dealt with the ghost. Krush managed to rescue his father when Cookieflame attacked the Collins Tower, to which he was flattered by him complimenting his moves. While Glowboo took Mr. Collins to safety, the trio tried to fight off the ghost to no avail. The ghost was so strong that when Krush trapped the ghost inside his fractal ice, Cookieflame easily melted it with its powers. The trio noticed after the ghost trapped Glowboo with its chocolate chip, it temporarily stopped attacking them. Krush realized that Cookieflame was overheating from using its powers too many times, which got him an idea. However, he was unsure it would work and didn't tell the Baker siblings about it.

Cookieflame 198

Cookieflame chased the trio back to East 27th Street where it proceeded to attack the citizens there. While the trio evacuated everyone away from the ghost, Krush noticed Charlie was hiding behind a truck near Fillex House. He quickly came to her rescue and took her away from an incoming chocolate chip projectile. Charlie frantically told Krush that she was looking for Mike and was worried about his whereabouts. Krush was flattered that she cared about him and told her that he'd "rescue" him. Charlie then described Mike's traits, including his current attire which is a t-shirt with a tie printed on, to which Krush was worried and asked why she started giggling about it. He was instead taken aback that Charlie confessed that she preferred Mike's true self, thus easing his worry about his date being a disaster. This allowed Krush to put faith in his idea and tell the Baker siblings that they must overheat Cookieflame to stun it. His idea turned out to be a success for the team that Krush released Growmax to further weaken the ghost back to its kawai mode and capture it.

Cookieflame 255

With Flamagma's capture, Krush headed back to Central Park and saw Charlie across the street from the museum. He secretly detransformed behind a bush before reuniting with her. He apologized to her for the picnic being a lame idea for a first date and the tie making him look ridiculous. The two both blushed when they realized they were close, so Mike asked if she still wanted to see the seashell fossils before the sudden plan changed. She agreed and the pair then went to the museum to continue their date.

Sandyrok 019

In "Sandyrok", Mike and his father have made plans to attend TechnoCon together. While waiting for him at Times Square, Mike got a call from the Baker siblings who asked if he would like to hang out with them at the Central Park fair. He told them he couldn't because he was finally going to spend time with his father for once. He then noticed that his father was calling him, so he said goodbye to the Baker siblings before he picked it up. He asked his father about his whereabouts, but he was saddened to hear that his father was having a promotional party at home for the Collins Kicks sneaker line. Mike was about to remind his father about TechnoCon, but he was so upset about being bailed that he instantly ended the call and headed to Central Park to join the Baker family.

Sandyrok 069

Mike almost made it to the park when he suddenly got a call from Miss Jones about Sandyrok terrorizing Times Square. So, Mike quickly transformed into Krush and met up with Fury and Myst at 5th Avenue. He was still resentful towards his father that he had bottled up his emotions and decided to take out his frustration on the ghost. When Myst first brought up that he might have to miss TechnoCon with his father, Krush didn't tell her the truth and instead grumpily lied that he had to bail on his father right outside the convention.

Sandyrok 139

Later, during the fight, the Ghostforce and Sandyrok all noticed fireworks were being set off at the Collins Tower. When the team flew up to the rooftop, the Baker siblings were both confused when they saw the promotional party being held and Mr. Collins attending it instead of at Technocon as Krush claimed. He ignored them and attacked Sandyrok with his fractal blast, but the ghost launched one of its fists onto him and Fury in retaliation, making the boys fall back down to Times Square.

Sandyrok 166

Krush was about to fly back up, but Fury stopped him and asked why he had lied about his father. Krush confessed that his father was the one who bailed on him on the day they were supposed to spend time together. Fury asked if he had talked to his father about it, to which Krush revealed he didn't. Just then, the boys noticed Mr. Collins was also at Times Square frantically looking for Mike. Fury pointed out to Krush that his father was worried about him, so he should talk to him about how he feels about being "bailed" instead of keeping his emotions all bottled up.

Sandyrok 252

Because Krush talked to Fury about his problem, he regained his focus on the mission and managed to figure out Sandyrok's power source. After the trio captured the ghost and detransformed, they headed to Times Square where Mr. Collins was still looking for Mike. Andy encouraged his best friend to follow his advice, so Mike bravely walked forward and got his father's attention. He confessed about being bailed from going to TechnoCon together, to which his father immediately apologized and reasoned that his busy schedule caused him to forget about their promise. When Mr. Collins suddenly got a phone call from someone (presumably Nolan Kasenti) about the Collins Kicks promotional party, Mike was relieved to hear his father saying to them that he wouldn't be available for the rest of the day. He was then given a hug from his father before the two proceeded to finally head to TechnoCon together.

As of "Turbokorn", Krush is in charge of overseeing the Ghost Car's electronics whenever the heroes use it for difficult missions.

Dunky Boss 028

In "Dunky Boss", Mike was excited to hang out with his father again during what was supposed to be Mr. Collins's day off. He already had plans for them to visit the American Museum of Natural History, ride the Ferris wheel, and have lunch at Roland's Ghost Dog. However, their day was abruptly canceled because Mr. Collins got a call from his superior that he must referee a junior slam dunk contest at Times Square. His father apologized to Mike about the last-minute change and promised they'd hang out at another time before he left the Collins Tower. Mike then sadly called Liv if she wanted to hang out with him instead, to which she asked him to come to the lab.

Dunky Boss 050

Mike later arrived at the lab and thanked Liv for the invite. Just as he was about to get his mind off his father, he realized that everyone was watching the sports channel that was broadcasting the slam dunk contest. And to add insult to injury for Mike, the television reporters announced that the winner will get to spend the whole day with Mr. Collins. He was immediately devastated upon hearing it since he was the one who was supposed to be with his father before the sudden change of plans. So, Mike decided that if his father was forced to hang out with the winner per the contest's rules, then he should enter it as a last-minute participant.

Dunky Boss 064

While everyone was watching the broadcast, Mike sneaked into the training room and searched for a Boo Technology gadget that could allow him to jump. He found a pair of running shoes and selected what he presumed to be a Level 3 bouncer ghost named Bouncee to fuel them. He was about to grab the shoes when he was startled by Liv suddenly arriving in the training room and asking what he was doing. Mike confessed about wanting to participate in the contest so he could win a day with his father, which he was glad Liv understood and would cover for him so Miss Jones wouldn't find out. Mike then went to the garage and activated the exit portal that he was going to take as a shortcut to Times Square. After putting on the shoes, he went through the portal and arrived in an alleyway.

Dunky Boss 125

Luckily for Mike, he was allowed into the contest as a last-minute participant after he arrived at Times Square. He quickly grabbed a basketball and announced himself in front of the audience, much to everyone's surprise since they didn't expect him to partake in it. When it was time for him to dunk, the shoes Mike was wearing helped him bounce at a tremendous height that he managed to shove the ball directly through the basket and scored a hundred points. When he landed back on the ground, the Boo Cap that were inserted into one of the shoes unexpectedly got shattered and caused Bouncee to be released.

Dunky Boss 143

Andy, who was a participant in the contest, quickly grabbed Mike and hid behind a stand while Bouncee caused chaos at Times Square by bouncing around the court and creating multiple magmatic craters in its path. Mike suddenly got a call from Miss Jones, so he picked it up and noticed her panicking. She asked Mike if he had taken a ghost out of the lab, causing him to remember that the contest was broadcast live and she had seen him entering it. He apologized to her, knowing that he was going to be in serious trouble with her. However, what he didn't expect was Miss Jones revealing to him that the ghost was a Level 9 and not a Level 3 as he saw in the computer database earlier. She told him that she must have placed Bouncee in the wrong Boo Cap which caused the computer to misidentify its cycle level, but she wasn't mad at him since she admitted to being partially to blame for Bouncee's release. Because of their mistakes, the team must capture the ghost and bring it back to the lab.

Dunky Boss 170

The problem ended up escalating after Bouncee merged with one of the basketballs and became Dunky Boss. So, the kids all transformed and followed the ghost at 5th Avenue. When Fury asked Krush what was wrong, the latter revealed that he wanted to have a day alone with his father by becoming a last-minute participant in the contest and using a wild ghost to win it. He didn't mean to accidentally release the ghost since he didn't know it was a Level 9. Myst assured Krush that it wasn't his fault since everyone on the team made the big mistake, so they must fix it together by stopping Dunky Boss.

Dunky Boss 262

The team was unable to fight Dunky Boss before it generated enough fear and laid up to a hundred eggs at 5th Avenue. Miss Jones frantically told them that if they didn't capture the ghost in time, the entire city would be turned into "one big basketball court" by its offspring bouncing around. This sparked Krush an idea of how to stop Dunky Boss since he remembered that the ghost merged with an actual basketball. He told Fury and Glowboo that they should try putting the ghost in a large net. Glowboo pretended to be a ball by creating a solar shield and bounced himself around 5th Avenue, while Fury created a net out of his flexi slimes. Dunky Boss was tricked into flying above the net, allowing Krush to use his Fractal Mace and slam dunk the ghost into it. With Dunky Boss being stunted, Fury released Dragoyle and fully weakened the ghost back to its kawai mode before capturing it. After everything was restored to normal, Krush once again apologized to Miss Jones for accidentally releasing Bouncee. Myst and Miss Jones both pointed out that they were also part of the guilty party and suggested calling it even, to which Krush accepted.

Dunky Boss 300

He then remembered his father was looking for him, so Krush headed back to Times Square and detransformed behind a giant poster. He called out for his father who got out of his hiding place and hugged him. His father asked him what he was doing at the contest since he knew Mike didn't even like basketball. Mike admitted he didn't, but he wanted to win a day with his father by becoming a last-minute participant. His father once again apologized for the sudden cancellation of their original plans because of the contest. He then suggested they hang out anyway since Mike did technically win after scoring a hundred points. Mike happily agreed and the two began leaving Times Square to go to the museum.

Specials[]

In "Grump King", Mike went to the Ghost Dog and ordered Roland's Halloween-themed hot dogs for his classmates who were at the NYC Dunk. Andy was surprised that carrots were used for the hot dogs, to which Liv revealed that all the sausages from Roland's stock were eaten by sewer rats. The mention of "sewer rats" frightened Andy, which Drake took notice of and instantly mocked him for it. Andy claimed to not be afraid of anything, but Rajat interjected and said that fear is a natural emotion experienced by everyone. When all the kids confessed their worst fear, Mike remembered his experience from "Arakgum" and revealed to his classmates that he's afraid of spiders. Carla then arrived with a mysterious old chest that, according to legends, contained a spirit called the "master of fears" who can only be released on the full moon of October 30th. Mike pointed out that there would be a full moon later that night, to which the kids all agreed with Carla's suggestion that they should release the spirit together.

Later that night, the kids all visited the Baker residence to wake the "master of fears". Mike examined the chest and found the mechanism to be rusty, but he managed to unlock it. Andy then opened the chest after being accused by Drake of being afraid of ghosts, but what everyone didn't expect was the chest containing a nest for an actual ghost — later named Grump King. The ghost quickly went to booster mode after ingesting enough fear from the trio's classmates. While everyone ran away in a panic, Mike and the Baker siblings hid behind a Halloween stand-in until Grump King was gone. The trio then received a call from Miss Jones about the ghost that she didn't have information in her database yet, so Mike sent a Boo Energy sample for her to quickly analyze it. The kids then transformed into their superhero identities to deal with the ghost because Glowboo was recharging in the lab.

While the trio were following Grump King to Times Square, Miss Jones informed them about the ghost being a shapeshifting illusionist who was locked three centuries ago by the world's first ghost hunters. She also warned them about not showing fear around Grump King or else they will fall under its clutches and transform into Halloween creatures. The trio was unable to fight the ghost since its powers were too strong. When Krush noticed that Grump King was to attack the 4 Lexington Avenue Express subway station, he fired his fractal blast at the ghost's eyes. However, what he didn't expect was Grump King casting a giant illusion from its mouth and he found himself standing in front of a silhouette of a giant spider. He was so scared of seeing the "spider" that he accidentally let go of his fractal power and caused Grump King to transform him into a witch.

Krush was later restored to normal right after Fury captured Grump King on the early morning of October 31st. Using his armor's Boo Map, he retrieved the malfunctioning Glowboo and brought him to the Empire State Building. He placed Glowboo on top of the Ghost Car before giving Fury a hug for saving New York City from the ghost. He and Myst were both surprised to see Miss Jones inside the Ghost Car because they thought she couldn't leave the lab, to which she stated that she didn't want to miss Halloween. Just then, Fury asked Miss Jones about overhearing her worst fear being "someone looking for her". Krush didn't seem to notice her suddenly dodging the question out of nervousness, but he nonetheless celebrated the team's victory after she returned to the lab.

At some point, Mike participated in the KassKorp Industry's Best Engineer competition between November to early December. In "Panikokado", he learned that he was declared the winner after seeing multiple advertisements for it in the city. While he was looking forward to the company rewarding him with a special Christmas gift, Mike was more excited about the holiday being an opportunity for him to spend time with his father again since the latter's job kept him busy all year. After he wished the Baker siblings a Merry Christmas, he headed to the Collins Tower to see his father.

Mike arrived at the rooftop but he noticed his father wasn't home. He called his father and asked him where he was, to which Mr. Collins revealed he was at Times Square because Mr. Kasenti requested him to present the city's largest Christmas tree and have dinner with the mayor. However, Mike misinterpreted what his father was saying and assumed he was abandoning him for his job. Mike even asked if he was going to be left all alone for Christmas because he thought they were supposed to spend it together as a family. Mike didn't even realize that his father was trying to invite him to Times Square because he sadly ended the call without letting Mr. Collins finish explaining that he'd wait for him there.

Believing that his father had once again bailed on him, Mike stayed on the rooftop and texted Andy about it. He later decided if his father didn't want to celebrate Christmas with him, then he should spend it with the Baker family instead. He remembered Andy and Liv both mentioning that they were about to go to the mountain with their parents. So, when Andy called him, Mike asked if he could join them on their ski trip. However, Andy claimed that he and his family were "already on the road" and wouldn't be able to come back to get him. Mike sadly said goodbye to Andy before calling Miss Jones about letting him join her, Glowboo, and Glups in the lab. When he didn't get a response from her either, he began moping to himself about having to spend Christmas without anyone around. He silently sat at the edge of the pool but he didn't hear his phone ringing and being called by his father.

Just then, a large aircraft appeared and landed in front of him. Mike was surprised to see Mr. Kasenti stepping out of the aircraft with his two bodyguards because he thought Mr. Kasenti was at Times Square with Mr. Collins. Mr. Kasenti revealed that he came to the Collins Tower to give Mike a Christmas gift for winning the KassKorp Industry's Best Engineer award; the company's tablet, which wasn't available on the market yet. Mike thanked Mr. Kasenti for the tablet, but he still felt down since it didn't keep his mind off his current situation. Mr. Kasenti "assured" him that he couldn't leave Mike alone all night and suggested the preteen boy should come to the Kasenti Tower to help him with an "impossible to solve" problem he was having. Mike was intrigued by the "Christmas conundrum" and accepted Mr. Kasenti's offer. He was excited about finally spending the holiday with someone that he accidentally left both his phone and ghostphone behind on the rooftop.

After the four arrived at Kasenti Tower, Mike was taken to a room that had a large program installed in it. He curiously examined it and noticed that it was programmed by someone who knows a lot about computers. He didn't question it and started applying an inverted logic of the system code that Miss Jones taught him, which successfully solved the problem and unlocked the program. He was thrilled about Mr. Kasenti being impressed by his genius and felt the two share a bond. Mike then asked if he could see KassKorp Industry's latest drone prototype, but Mr. Kasenti coldly dismissed him. He then sent his self-driving car to take Mike home before he wished the preteen a season's greeting. Mike was taken aback by Mr. Kasenti's sudden change of demeanor but he kindly wished him a Merry Christmas before being escorted out of the Kasenti Tower.

While riding the car back to the Collins Tower, Mike noticed Andy and Mr. Baker were both at 5th Avenue despite the former claiming earlier that the Baker family were already on their way to the mountain. This devastated Mike because he believed Andy (and by extension, Liv) lied to him so they didn't want him to join the Baker family vacation. Having had enough of everyone "abandoning" him, a heartbroken Mike told the car to take him "as far away as possible". He was about to leave Manhattan when the car suddenly stopped in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. He got out of the car and noticed there were multiple people trapped inside giant Christmas presents. He was about to wonder what was happening, but Fury suddenly appeared behind him and took Mike to the top of a suspension tower for the bridge. Mike angrily told Fury that he thought they were friends and accused him of lying to avoid spending Christmas with him. Fury revealed that it was a misunderstanding because the Baker family had decided to delay their vacation to surprise him at the Collins Tower after his father "bailed" on him. Mike was surprised to hear it since he remembered he had left his home earlier to visit the Kasenti Tower. Having quickly put the pieces together, Mike realized that Andy was at 5th Avenue because he and Mr. Baker were trying to look for him.

Just then, Mike saw Myst and Glowboo flying through a spectral gate because they were both being chased by a ghost known as Panikokado. After Glowboo got trapped inside one of the Christmas presents, Mike quickly transformed into Krush and followed Fury to where Myst was. Krush created a giant fractal trap and blocked Panikokado's present attacks, protecting the Baker siblings from the ghost because he would never bail on his best friends. Myst informed the team that the star on Panikokado's tail was its power source, so the trio began fighting the ghost at the bridge. However, unbeknownst to Krush, the program he had earlier fixed at the Kasenti Tower was actually for a series of drone cameras that Mr. Kasenti was using to spy on the Ghostforce. During the fight, one of the cameras recorded him attacking Panikokado and collected data on his fractal powers.

After Myst weakened the ghost by firing her spectral arrow at it, Krush captured Paniko in its Boo Cap and restored everything to normal in Manhattan. The team then reunited at Times Square where Krush apologized to his friends for doubting their friendship and mistakenly thought they had abandoned him. Fury admitted fault since he wanted to surprise Krush and was glad that the team was together again. The team then all hugged each other before they left to celebrate with their respective families.

Krush went back to the Collins Tower and detransformed on the rooftop. He was about to head inside to prepare for his visit to the Baker family, but Mr. Collins suddenly arrived home in a frantic mood. Mike was taken aback because he thought his father was having dinner with the mayor. His father indirectly stated that he had already canceled his dinner plan to come home and see him. Mr. Collins apologized to Mike for constantly not being there because of his job, especially on Christmas. Mike finally realized that his father had been wanting to spend the holiday with him all along and had tried inviting him to Times Square earlier before Mike ended the call. He was relieved that it was a huge misunderstanding, but he then remembered about his plans to celebrate Christmas with the Baker family. Luckily for him, Mr. Collins invited the Baker family over to the Collins Tower to have dinner together.

Bridge episodes[]

From "Tortress" to "Swip Swap", Mike continued hunting ghosts in Manhattan with the team.

In "Rozamour", Mike participated in the Valentine's Day fundraiser at Central Park to raise money for the class's end-of-the-school-year trip. When Andy did a juggling trick with the chocolate boxes to get the parkgoers interested in buying from them, Mike noticed Charlie was in the crowd and he couldn't help but smile at the sight of her. Liv teased Mike if he was going to purchase a box for Charlie, which he didn't deny since he wanted Charlie to be his Valentine. However, after seeing Charlie complimenting Andy for his juggling skills, Mike became jealous because he wrongfully assumed she had an interest in his best friend instead. Wanting Andy to stop being the center of Charlie's attention, Mike grabbed another chocolate box and tossed it towards him so he could drop them all. He made the mistake of throwing a nest that belonged to a ghost known as Cupidour who, upon awakening, proceeded to terrorize everyone at the park by making people fall in love with one another. After the trio got information about the ghost from Miss Jones, they all transformed into their superhero identities to stop it.

The team was too late since the ghost had merged with a rose and became Rozamour. While the four were fighting the ghost, Myst noticed that the rose petals were Rozamour's weakness since they would grow back after being thrown. So, Krush must use his fractal powers to trap all the petals. However, before he could do it, he accidentally redirected an incoming petal towards Charlie who was recording them for the Ghost Blog. Fury quickly rushed to check on her, but Krush witnessed Charlie confess her "love" for Fury and even kissed him on the cheek. This caused Krush to become angry that he got distracted from the mission and not noticing Glowboo had temporarily blinded Rozamour with his solar powers. Myst finally got Krush's attention right when Rozamour regained its vision and knocked Glowboo to the ground. The ghost then threw a petal at Myst and caused her to fall in love with a seagull. Krush was still mad at Fury for seemingly being Charlie's romantic interest, but Glowboo reminded the boys that pursuing the ghost was a more important matter to deal with.

The trio then headed to East 27th Street where Rozamour had caused more people to fall in love with one another. Krush, remembering what Myst said earlier about the ghost's weakness, told Glowboo to distract Rozamour so he could attack it from behind once all the petals were gone. The plan almost worked if it wasn't for Rozamour anticipating Krush's move and throwing a petal at him. Fury managed to create a flexi shield and protected Krush from said petal, but this led to Krush witnessing Charlie holding a Fury collage and expressing her "love" for him. Krush, thinking that Charlie admired Fury for being the "strongest", refused to help his best friend fight Rozamour and argued with him out of jealousy. This distracted them from Rozamour who threw a petal at Fury and knocked them both into the sewers.

Once Krush recovered, he flew to where Fury was and angrily complained to him for constantly wanting to be the center of attention. However, Fury suddenly confessed his "love" for Krush and began hugging him. Krush was confused, but after Glowboo revealed that Fury was a victim of Rozamour's hypnotic powers, he finally understood that Charlie was also a victim and not romantically in love with his best friend. Krush apologized for his jealousy because he thought he no longer existed in Charlie's eyes after noticing she wouldn't stop looking at Andy/Fury. He was glad that Fury at least forgave him, so the trio all headed out of the sewers to deal with Rozamour.

The trio managed to taunt Rozamour into throwing all of its petals and allowed Krush to attack it with his fractal ice. He then released Growmax to fully weaken the ghost before capturing it in a Boo Cap. After everything was restored to normal, the kids headed back to Central Park to continue the fundraiser. Mike was then encouraged by the Baker siblings to give Charlie a chocolate box for Valentine's Day, which she happily accepted and the two began spending the rest of the day together as each other's date.

Relationships[]

Andy Baker/Fury[]

Jellyjack 024

Andy is one of Mike's best friends in both their civilian and superhero lives, along with Liv. While "Origins" hasn't been released yet, the official Ghostforce website revealed that they met on the first day of school. The Baker siblings are also said to be the first people who call Mike by his real name instead of "Junior", thus cementing their friendship.[4] Mike appreciates the Baker siblings for liking who he is and not seeing him as just the son of a famous basketball player. He, especially, sees Andy as a supportive older brother figure since the latter wants to help Mike become more confident about himself.

Bananice (58)

Although the boys are both opposites in personality and interests, they both get along very well and have learned to tolerate each others' flaws. Mike finds Andy to be the funniest member of the team, as revealed in "Gmagicard", and likes to hear his jokes. He used to worry about Andy's education since the latter is currently the oldest student in the class after previously failing a grade. During "Bananice", the boys had a conflict where Mike was disappointed with Andy for procrastinating in their science project and not paying attention while they and Liv were presenting together. However, it seems Mike eventually came to accept Andy's way of learning and was no longer seen pestering him about it. This was hinted at in "Mascarade" when Mike was taken aback by Andy spending his morning at the school library reading a dictionary and wanting to become smart. Instead of being proud of him for willingly studying for once, Mike was more concerned about his friend not acting normally and later revealed that he didn't want Andy to ever change himself.

Cookieflame 033

He knows about Andy's crush on Carla, as revealed in "Trashotic", and had even praised him for successfully asking her out to the Central Park fair. However, he does feel jealous of Andy for being more confident in talking to Carla since Mike has trouble expressing his feelings to Charlie. So, he would sometimes ask Andy for his help regarding his relationship with her. In "Pharaok", he wanted to impress Charlie that he was willing to go along with Andy's plan by taking Pharases II's funerary mask from his father's collection and intending on wearing it at the start of history class. Despite the plan having failed because of Mr. Vladovsky's interference, Mike was thankful to Andy for sneaking into the office to retrieve the mask for him before the principal could call Mr. Collins. It wasn't until "Cookieflame" that Mike finally got closer to Charlie after Andy helped him set up a romantic picnic date at Central Park.

Their friendship was put to a test in "Panikokado" when Mike texted Andy to let him know that his father had "bailed" on him on Christmas. He decided to spend the holiday with the Bakers since he sees them as a second family to him. However, because of a misunderstanding, Mike wrongfully assumed the Baker siblings had lied to him about the family being already "on the road" for their ski vacation after he later saw Andy at 5th Avenue. This led to Mike doubting their friendship that he almost considered running away from home because he had enough of everyone "abandoning" him on Christmas. He eventually learned from Fury that the Baker family had canceled their vacation because they wanted to spend the holiday with him and were later trying to look for him when they thought he had gone missing.

Liv Baker/Myst[]

Sporofungus 020

Liv is also one of Mike's best friends, along with Andy. While "Origins" hasn't been released yet, the official Ghostforce website revealed that they met on the first day of school. Like Andy, Mike also appreciates Liv for accepting his true self and being one of the first people in the class to address him by his real name.[4] Because of Liv's bold personality, it's heavily implied she was the one who indirectly got nearly all their classmates to begin calling him "Mike" instead of his nickname "Junior".

Gmagicard 174

Since they became friends, Mike sees Liv as an older sister figure to him. They would heavily support one another during whatever situations they are facing in both their civilian and superhero lives. For example, in "Mastaar", he understood that Liv suffered from stage fright at the Central Park talent show and helped calm her down by explaining that it came from her never performing in front of a large audience before. He advised her to not think about the people watching her and keep playing since he knew how talented she was with her guitar, which indirectly helped Myst overcome her anxiety to defeat Mastaar and break the ghost's spell that was cast onto their classmates. Mike also sometimes asks for Liv's help when it comes to his feelings for Charlie. In "Raijin", he and Liv went shopping for a last-minute birthday gift because he trusted her to know what Charlie would like. He later went along with Liv's matchmaking plan by "filling in" her role as Charlie's cameraman in "Burghorror".

Mike never sees Liv as the leader of the Ghostforce since he sees everyone as an ensemble. While he normally serves as the team's strategist, he nonetheless trusts her to come up with ideas and willingly follows her directions whenever they are out hunting ghosts. He even admitted in "Gmagicard" that he sees her as the bravest member of the team. When Myst was awarded the city's Medal of Honor in "Biballoon", he didn't display any hint of jealousy towards her and was instead worried when she revealed her tamed ghost Octocat to the audience. However, unlike Liv/Myst, he doesn't share nor understand her sentiment of ghosts being adorable because of how dangerous their powers tend to be.

Miss Jones[]

Levisfer 265

While it's unknown how they met since "Origins" wasn't released yet, Mike was chosen by Miss Jones to become Krush within the second iteration of the Ghostforce. He admires the scientist's intellect since he finds her to be a great source of inspiration for his everyday life. Mike also shares her determination to capture every single ghost that is haunting Manhattan and domesticate them all before their attacks are spread to the rest of the city.

Arakgum 244

When Krush revealed to Miss Jones his fear of spiders in "Arakgum", he was worried that it was holding him back from their missions. However, she motivated him to not give up and revealed to him that she's always scared whenever the team is out in the field. He was also willing to follow her advice that being a superhero didn't automatically make him fearless and he should sometimes forget about it, allowing him to successfully capture Arakgum and save Manhattan from its attack. Mike has huge faith in Miss Jones that he never believes in the idea of her replacing him and the Baker siblings with Glowboo, as revealed in "Cyclopee". He even started to see her as a mother figure that he briefly considered spending Christmas with her in "Panikokado" when he thought the Baker family were out of town.

Mike is fascinated by the many Boo Technology gadgets Miss Jones currently displays in the training room, wishing to someday invent one himself that can help the team during their missions. In "Jellystery", he got the chance to be the first member of the second iteration of the team to see the prototype of the Ghost Car when Miss Jones asked for his help in the lab's garage. The two managed to fully complete the prototype together and were about to surprise Andy, Liv, and Glowboo before they learned about Jellystery's awakening at Central Park.

Somnibou 288

In "Somnibou", Mike wanted to impress Miss Jones after he spent an entire week attempting to decipher her friend's notes about Glowboo's hidden features. He created a code that was supposed to unlock nearly all the features and secretly installed it onto Glowboo as a way to surprise her. However, he accidentally caused Glowboo's circuits to get boggled and made the android behave erratically. He was afraid of getting into trouble with Miss Jones that he didn't tell her during their mission to stop Somnibou. When Glowboo later became aggressive and attacked the team, Krush eventually confessed his mistake to Miss Jones by revealing the software's password to help her remove the code. He later gave her a proper apology after the mission and revealed his intention to upgrade Glowboo without telling her. He was relieved when she forgave him because she was already impressed by his attempt. As a consolation for the incident, Mike is now working with Miss Jones to help her decipher the rest of the notes since she can't do it alone.

Like the rest of his teammates, Mike is completely unaware of Miss Jones's past and her connection with Nolan Kasenti. He is never seen asking her about the incident that led her to become a half-ghost nor the identity of her friend who designed Glowboo. When Fury mentioned to Miss Jones that he overheard her worst fear being "someone finding her" in "Grump King", Krush didn't get suspicious of her dodging the question because he believed her when she claimed her fear was something nonsensical that the kids should ignore.

Glups[]

While "Origins" hasn't been released yet, it's presumed Mike met Glups on the same day he and the Baker siblings were chosen by Miss Jones to form the second iteration of the Ghostforce.

Out of the main trio, Mike barely has any interaction with Glups since the latter must stay in the underground laboratory with Miss Jones. In "Jellyjack", he learned that Glups is allergic to sunlight and would become wild if he ever gets outside. Like Fury, Krush didn't hesitate to fight Glups because he wanted to save his friend from reaching peak fear and becoming a wild ghost permanently.

Glowboo[]

Mike, as Krush, first met Glowboo in "Raijin" when the latter was sent as a surprise reinforcement for the team. Before he learned Glowboo is an artificial intelligence, Krush was incredibly impressed by Glowboo's skill in combat when witnessing him holding off Raijin. He was later told that Glowboo was built by Miss Jones and was designed by an "old friend of [hers]", not knowing that the friend was Carpenter who was a co-founder of the Ghostforce.

Sporofungus 196

Despite Glowboo being an artificial intelligence, Mike/Krush treats him as a friend and an equal since he understands that the android is learning how to grow beyond his original programming. They are very close since they are the most intelligent members of the second iteration of the Ghostforce. Mike/Krush would always listen to Glowboo's advice whenever the latter notices him feeling upset during a mission, as seen in both "Sporofungus" and "Bubble-Brush", indicating that he trusts Glowboo enough to talk to him about his struggles and how he can resolve them.

Somnibou 015

Mike's current mission for Glowboo is to unlock all of his hidden features that were mentioned in the notes written by Carpenter. He hopes that Glowboo will become more advanced with each new upgrade so he can someday reach his full potential. Mike had once attempted to decipher the notes alone in "Somnibou" but he was unsuccessful because the code he created was incorrect and caused Glowboo's circuits to get boggled. Following the incident, Mike is now working with Miss Jones to figure out the rest of his features.

Michael Collins[]

Chronoklok 016

Mike is named after his father Michael Collins who is a star basketball player from the New York Dragons. However, despite loving his father dearly, their relationship is currently strained because Mr. Collins recently worked with KassKorp Industry to sponsor his basketball team. Mike seems to be unaware that his father is currently being pressured by the company to participate in multiple business events that lead to his constantly busy schedule. As a result of the two not communicating about their respective issues early on, Mike used to be emotionally distant from his father. This was best demonstrated in "Chronoklok" when he aloofly guessed his father's surprise being something related to basketball, such as a sports magazine cover or sneaker line.

In "Zipzap", the reason he became addicted to playing Spook Out was to fight back his loneliness from his father not being able to be there for him, even thinking that they have nothing in common because of their different interests. He was later proven wrong when Mr. Collins revealed that he was a top player of the game and had unknowingly competed against each other on the scoreboard. This led to Mike suggesting they have a proper father-and-son bonding after school and was happy when he agreed to it.

Mike used to be wrongfully convinced that his father expected him to be good at sports and follow in his footsteps into becoming a basketball player.[4] In "Chronoklok", he was at first happy that his father understood his interest in gadgets after he was gifted a Clipit smartwatch and proudly wore it to school. However, because of Drake's taunting about the watch having a feature that played pro-tips, Mike had started to doubt his father's intention and thought he gave the watch to secretly pressure him into playing basketball. When he later told his father about his issues with the pro-tips, Mr. Collins revealed that he loves Mike for who he is and would never force him to be an athlete. In "Dunky Boss", he understood his father had been forced to referee a junior slam dunk contest and spend a day with the winner per the rules. Having remembered what his father said about loving his true self, Mike decided to become a last-minute participant not to impress his father but to instead win a day with him.

Sandyrok 246

There have been multiple instances of Mike misunderstanding his father because of poor communication between the two. The most notable being "Sandyrok" when Mike and his father attended TechnoCon together. Despite their different interests, Mike wanted to spend time with him and presumably get him to know more about his love for gadgets and technology. However, Mr. Collins had accidentally placed the Collins Kicker promotional party on the same day the convention was held (presumably under Nolan Kasenti's order). Mike was too upset to remind his father about TechnoCon that he ended the phone call and wrongfully assumed his father had "bailed" on him. After being encouraged by Andy and Liv, Mike finally talked to his father about it and eventually forgave him for the latter's mistake. Mr. Collins even managed to prove to Mike that he truly wanted to go to TechnoCon by telling his superior that he wouldn't be available for the rest of the day.

A similar incident had also occurred in "Panikokado" but the circumstances were different. Neither of the Collins realizes that it was all part of Mr. Kasenti's manipulation since they were both tricked into indirectly helping him gather data on the Ghostforce for his secret evil plan. Mike thought his father had "bailed" on him for his job because Mr. Collins was ordered to present the giant Christmas tree at Times Square and have dinner with the mayor. Once again, Mike was so upset about it that he ended the phone call before he could learn that his father was trying to invite him to join the festivities. This indirectly led to Mike being lured into Mr. Kasenti's trap and fixed a drone program that the latter used to spy on the team during their fight against Panikokado. After Paniko's capture, Mike eventually learned about the misunderstanding after Mr. Collins revealed he had canceled his dinner plan so he could be home for him. He even agreed with his father to invite the Baker family over for a Christmas dinner together.

Piraniak 181

One advantage Mike finds about his father's busy schedule is that the latter never suspects him of being secretly Krush. He is always worried about his father being in danger whenever there's a ghost attack at his location. As Krush, he would quickly come to Mr. Collins's rescue and bring him to a safe place. So far, Krush had rescued his father in both "Cookieflame" and "Piraniak" when a ghost attacked the Collins Tower. Based on Krush's comment that he "learned from the best" after Mr. Collins once complimented him for his maneuvers, it's heavily implied he was taught by his father how to be agile.

Jay and Melissa Baker[]

Paniclick 266

While Mike barely has on-screen interaction with Mr. and Mrs. Baker, the official Ghostforce website heavily alludes that he sees them as a second family to him.[4] This likely stems from Mike's unable to spend time with his father because of the latter's busy schedule, so he's opted to hang out with the Bakers instead.

In "Paniclick", he visited the Baker residence and helped them with their yard sale. He later joined their movie night and watched Star-Crossed Luvees with them.

In "Panikokado", Mike decided to join the Baker family vacation when he mistakenly thought his father had "bailed" on him on Christmas. He ended up going through a series of misunderstandings until he eventually learned that the Bakers had canceled their ski trip so they could spend the holiday with him instead. Upon later realizing that his father never intended on bailing him and had returned home from Times Square, Mike got to have dinner with his two families at the Collins Tower.

Charlie[]

Mike has a huge crush on Charlie that was developed around the first week of school. Because of his low self-esteem, he often wrongfully assumes that Charlie doesn't feel the same way and only likes his alter ego, Krush. He is currently unaware that she already reciprocates his feelings and her view on Krush is merely a heroic admiration.

Burghorror 213

Mike wants to do whatever he can to spend time with Charlie so she can get to know him better. Every time he is around her, he would easily become nervous and flustered. However, he is very protective of her during a ghost attack, especially since she constantly puts herself in danger to film it for the Ghost Blog. In "Burghorror", Mike was forced to choose between helping his teammates fight Burghorror or being Charlie's cameraman at Times Square before he ultimately decided that her safety was his priority. He made the hard decision by first apologizing to Charlie that he couldn't be there for her, making it seem like in her perspective that he's going to abandon her, and then secretly left to transform into Krush. It ended up creating a positive outcome for him because Fury and Myst both secretly recorded him, as Krush, fighting Burghorror, thus indirectly leading to Mike earning his first kiss from Charlie at the end of the episode.

Cookieflame 253

The two were later partners for the end-of-the-semester dance in "Creepop", but they didn't have their first official date until "Cookieflame". He knows they both like going to the museum so he invited her to see the seashell fossils exhibit together. However, after Andy pointed out that the museum wasn't romantic enough for a date, Mike became worried that he decided to have a picnic with her instead. Their first date ended up being awkward because of Mike's nervousness and clumsiness around Charlie. He first accidentally knocked over a fork where she was about to sit down, suggested trying out Roland's latest hot dogs that disgusted them both, and then spilled said hot dog onto her knees. This caused Mike to assume the date was a "disaster", especially after Flamagma interrupted it. However, when Krush later rescues her from Cookieflame's attack, he learns that she likes Mike's true self and enjoys being with him. After he captured the ghost, Mike apologized to Charlie for the picnic and suggested going to the museum instead as they originally planned.

Criangle 027

Even after their first date, Mike is shown to be still insecure about his budding relationship with her. When Charlie had asked if he wanted to go with her to the American Museum of Natural History to see the geometric exhibition in "Criangle", he was worried that she'd be disappointed with him for not knowing anything about art during their visit. So, he rejected her invitation by making up an excuse that he must help his father "organize his basketball collection by size", which he ended up regretting because he made Charlie upset over being turned down. Following Criangle's capture, Mike wanted to make it up to her that he went to the museum and asked her if he could still accompany her to the exhibit. He was at first disheartened when Charlie stated she had "enough triangles for one day", but he was relieved about her suggesting that they go for a walk at Central Park instead.

Near the end of "Rozamour", Mike successfully asks Charlie to be his Valentine and the two go out on a date to share the chocolates he gave to her. However, their current relationship status is left ambiguous since the remaining bridge episodes never mention them being an official couple.

Rajat[]

Bubble-Brush 014

Mike and Rajat being friends.

Mike has a frenemy relationship with Rajat since they are both the top students of their class. They would often compete against each other in science competitions to see who is the smartest. However, unlike the rivalry between Andy and Drake, Mike and Rajat are more willing to put aside their conflict and hang out as friends since they both share the same interests. In "Bubble-Brush", Mike invited Rajat to join him and the Baker siblings at TechnoExpo to see the RXX TV 2000. Their day was interrupted by Bubble-Brush's awakening, but the four kids managed to attend the event after the ghost was captured.

Levisfer 038

The pair being rivals during science competitions.

Mike is often jealous of Rajat's self-confidence and being well-liked by their peers. In "Levisfer", the pair competed against each other as finalists in the New York Science Fair. When Mike learned that he wouldn't get any credit if he got any help for his invention, he became stressed because his electromagnetic bubble transmitter wasn't working properly to compete against Rajat's Robo-Baker. His jealousy got more intensified when Andy and Glowboo took a liking to the Robo-Baker for its ability to bake a cake within five seconds and being almost as advanced as him, respectively. However, Mike later accepted his loss after using his electromagnetic bubble transmitter to save Manhattan from Levisfer that he felt Rajat deserved to win for not needing any help.

Carla[]

Meta&Lix 083

Despite knowing Andy has a crush on Carla, Mike doesn't get to interact with her until "Meta&Lix" when they are paired up for Professor Pascal's morning assignment. Mike noticed Carla brought a device with her to the NYC Dunk and immediately recognized it as a pulse induction metal detector. Carla explained that she didn't have much luck detecting anything with her device, so Mike offered to tweak it for her. The pair later cemented a friendship after Mike learned Carla has an interest in hunting for ancient treasures. So, it's heavily alluded to that Mike modified the device into the bizarro detector to allow her to detect paranormal objects.

Since the two became friends, Mike learns how to tolerate Carla's eccentric personality and her way of thinking about the world around them. In "Grump King", Mike was fascinated by an old wooden box Carla had found buried in Central Park and her explanation that it was connected to a legend called the "master of fears". He became interested in seeing what was inside since he learned that the box could only be opened during the full moon of October 30th, even pointing out the coincidence that the moon would be full later that night. When he later found out that the "master of fears" was actually Grump King, he stated that Carla was right about the legend being connected to ghosts upon learning from Miss Jones that the box was buried in the early 1700s by the world's first ghost hunters.

Marlo[]

Sharkoak 033

Mike isn't close to Marlo, but they both seem to be on good terms. In "Sharkoak", Mike witnessed Marlo placing a flower bouquet in Liv's locker that he mistakenly assumed Marlo had a crush on her. Even though he later found out that it was a misunderstanding and the bouquet wasn't meant for her, Mike still liked the idea of Marlo and Liv getting together since he made an amused smirk when Andy teased her about the incident.

Drake Miller[]

Mikroo 022

Mike presumably met Drake on the first day of school in "Origins". Since then, they greatly despise each other because Mike often gets bullied by him. He is aware of the rivalry between Drake and Andy where the latter two would compete against each other over being the captain of the basketball team. However, Mike's frustration stems from Drake's refusal to accept his true self and only see him as the son of Michael Collins. Drake referring to him as "Junior" and never by his real name also doesn't help Mike's self-esteem since it constantly reminds him how strained his current relationship with his father is.

Mikroo 275

Despite being picked on by Drake, Mike isn't scared of his intimidation and often stands up to him. In "Mikroo", Drake tried to steal Mike's credit for his project on dimensional physics and lied to Professor Pascal that they both worked on the classroom diorama together. However, Mike wasn't going to let Drake walk all over him and tried to get him to trip onto a bouncy ball so he could get his diorama back. Despite the Baker siblings intervening because they wanted to help, Mike later managed to prove to his friends that he could handle dealing with Drake himself. When he tried to force Mike to do his homework, he tricked Drake into thinking he recorded their conversation and blackmailed that he'll send it to Mr. Vladovsky.

Chronoklok 038

Mike can only feel belittled whenever Drake brings up the topic of his father. In "Chronoklok", Drake mocked him for being gifted a watch that can play pro-tips because he believed Mr. Collins wanted to secretly pressure Mike into pursuing basketball. This caused Mike to question his father's intention to the point he was convinced that Drake was right when Chronoklok later played one of the pro-tips to taunt him during the team's mission.

Bobby[]

Mike appears to dislike Bobby's presence since the latter is Drake's loyal best friend. They barely interact with each other, but in "Graffurious", Krush was surprised to learn Bobby was the one who graffitied multiple buildings in Manhattan. Despite their conflict, he was willing to help Bobby clean up the mess the latter made after confessing his crime to Officer Callaghan at the end of the episode.

Stacy and Jane[]

Batata 041

Mike doesn't get along with either of the twins, seeing both girls as snobby and mean. That said, Mike did find Stacy's acting to be talented after her high-pitched scream landed her a role of a damsel-in-distress for Solar-Man: The Movie in "Xhypno".

Like Andy, he is currently unaware that Jane is secretly nice and only pretends to be like Stacy. He even felt bad for Liv in "Meta&Lix" when she was forced to be Jane's partner for a morning assignment, not knowing that the pair had secretly formed a budding friendship after visiting the museum.

Mr. Vladovsky[]

Pharaok (064)

Like the rest of his classmates, Mike is afraid of Mr. Vladovsky since the principal likes to give harsh punishments to the students for misbehaving. Unbeknownst to him, Mr. Vladovsky is secretly Nolan Kasenti's servant who collects ghost nests in his office as part of an evil plan against the Ghostforce.

In "Pharaok", he was caught by the school principal for being late for class and wearing the mask of Pharases II in the hallways as part of Andy's plan for Mike to impress Charlie. So, Mr. Vladovsky immediately confiscated the mask and threatened Mike that he'd call Mr. Collins to retrieve it.

In "Batata", Mike was peer-pressured by Stacy to set back Mr. Vladovsky's clock in his office because he wanted to help Charlie get an extra hour of studying for a test. Mike managed to successfully do it, but he indirectly caused Batata's awakening after accidentally knocking its nest onto the clock. When Mr. Vladovsky later found out about it, Mike bravely lied that he sneaked into the office because he wanted to "take back something that was confiscated" and accepted his punishment by cleaning up the school's bathrooms for two hours.

Roland[]

Dinozos 026

Mike is a regular customer at the Ghost Dog where his usual order consisted of an anchovy on a soda bread topped with chocolate syrup, wasabi mustard, and a slice of bitter orange. He knows how sensitive Roland is, so he would try to avoid hurting his feelings whenever he tastes any new items added to the Ghost Dog's menu. When Mike noticed Liv was criticizing the Cave Dog for its ingredients in "Dinozos", he attempted to rephase her wording since Roland mentioned having entered it to the "Best Hot Dog in New York" contest.

Officer Callaghan[]

Burghorror 074

Like the rest of his teammates, Mike can't stand Callaghan for his egotistical and attention-seeking personality. He also finds him to be an incompetent police officer despite being ranked as a lieutenant, feeling exasperated at his inability to comprehend that ghosts are like dangerous wild animals and impossible to capture without the Ghostforce's Boo Technology gadgets. When he recorded Charlie's interview with Callaghan about his perspective on the Ghostforce in "Burghorror", Mike got to witness first-hand how the lieutenant wasn't above lying about knowing the team and stealing their credit for fighting a ghost. He later defended Liv when she almost got falsely arrested by Callaghan for graffitiing the Kasenti Tower in "Graffurious".

Nolan Kasenti[]

Mike is a huge fan of Mr. Kasenti who is the founder and president of KassKorp Industry, the leading tech company in New York City. He is aware that his father is currently working for Mr. Kasenti because KassKorp Industry is the sponsor for the New York Dragons, but it's uncertain if Mike ever realizes that his idol is the one behind his father's busy schedule that prevents the Collins from spending time together.

Unbeknownst to Mike, Mr. Kasenti had a history with the Ghostforce where he was the one responsible for Miss Jones becoming a half-ghost. And since Miss Jones never tells the kids about the incident, Mike has no idea that Mr. Kasenti has been searching for her in New York City to this day and is secretly initiating an evil plan against the team. In "Panikokado", he was tricked by his idol into unlocking a drone program at the Kasenti Tower that Mr. Kasenti used to gather data on the Ghostforce and their medallions.

Carpenter[]

Mike doesn't know about Carpenter nor his name, having only heard of him as an "old friend" of Miss Jones's and not as the co-founder of the Ghostforce. He later learned in "Cyclopee" that the friend was Glowboo's designer who had written a lot of notes about the android's features. When Miss Jones revealed to the team that the notes were all written in codes, Mike had spent a week attempting to crack them alone to no avail. However, after the events of "Somnibou", he is now working with her to decipher the notes while unknowingly playing a role in Carpenter's legacy.

Trivia[]

Ghostforce civilian original designs concept art

One of the many early designs for Mike (then known as Sam).

  • During the early development process, Mike was originally depicted as an athlete with his signature color being green. His name was also originally going to be Sam. His color scheme and personality were later switched with Andy when the series entered production.[7]
    • Early pieces of concept art depicted Sam as a football player. Despite this, one of his original character designs depicted him wearing glasses that were eventually reused for Mike.
    • Mike's original character archetype was referenced in "Dunky Boss" when he participated in a basketball contest to win a day with his father.
    • According to the pitch synopsis for "Pharaok" on the 2021 Ghostforce brand deck by Ypsilon Films, Krush was originally named Puncher.[6]
      • This name might have been a remnant of the original name for Andy's superhero identity. In pre-production, Andy was going to be a blue Ghostforce member named Blue Punch.[8]
  • The colors of the atoms on his shirt are also the signature colors of the main trio.
  • Because Mike skipped a grade, he is currently the youngest student in Professor Pascal's class.
  • Mike's character biography on the official Ghostforce website mentioned that Mike's classmates only called him by his nickname "Junior" before the Baker siblings arrived in Manhattan. Despite the biography claiming that Andy and Liv are the only people who addressed him by his real name, it's heavily implied the trio's friendship led to the rest of the classmates (except Drake) eventually beginning calling him "Mike" too. In the series, Drake is the only character who is seen still calling him "Junior" since he refuses to accept Mike.
  • Mr. Vladovsky is the only character who calls Mike by his full first name "Michael".
  • Krush's superhero alias is a reference to the term "crushed ice" and his cryokinesis powers.
  • Mike revealed in "Sporofungus" that he looked at the number that's on Central Park's lampposts to know where he was going and not get himself lost.
  • Despite Mike's lack of interest in sports, he understands basketball terminology. This likely stems from his experience watching his father play for the New York Dragons since he once described Andy as the fastest and cleverest point guard he knew in "Katastroph".
  • As revealed in "Cyclopee", Mike wished he could speak another language other than English.
  • "Gumglue" and "Dinozos" are currently the only episodes where Mike didn't transform into Krush.
  • Mike is the only member of the main trio who wasn't featured in the transformation sequence while wearing his winter outfit in "Panikokado".
  • "Piktoo" is the only time Mike got briefly separated from his medallion because of a ghost attack.
  • Despite the relationship status between Mike and Charlie is currently left ambiguous, he is the only member of the main trio to have gone on dates with his love interest.
