Synopsis[]

Mikroo, a tiny ghost afraid of anything bigger than him, shrinks Ghostforce and all the students.

Plot[]

The episode begins at NYC school's library with Professor Pascal looking for a book and his dog Asta following him. Asta barks and Pascal finds an old dusty red book. He grabs the book and puts down the decorated egg that was on top of it. After blowing out the dust from the book, he and his dog walk away. Unaware that the decorated egg has been opened, the dust gets consumed inside the egg as the two continue walking away.

In Professor Pascal's classroom, Mike and Charlie are looking at Mike's model replica of the classroom. Charlie is clearly impressed by Mike's work, stating that the doll versions of themselves are so adorable and takes a picture of it. Mike is happy that Charlie likes his work. But Drake, who was eavesdropping on the conversation, wondered how he would get the grade with juggling. He throws the red ball at Bobby and approaches the two. He starts talking about Mike's little project. When Mike was going to explain it, Drake asks him to tell the teacher that they (he and Bobby) made it together, which prompts Mike to ask why he would do this, and Drake says it's because he's older, taller and it's an order. Drake then picks up the model and tries to walk away, but Mike stops him by grabbing the model, as the two stare angrily at each other. Mike then spots a green ball and tries to push Drake to it so he can fall. Just then, Liv, Andy, and Carla have arrived at class. They see the commotion and the siblings intervened. Mike tries to explain that everything is under control. But Andy and Liv didn't buy this. So they both grab the model and try to get it off of Drake's hands. However, Mike tumbles and falls down. The battery that was inside the model launches out and ends up at a test tube that was filled with water. Andy angrily demands Drake to apologize. But Drake doesn't want to, believing that it was Mike's fault as he should've just let him carry the model to the library. Mike was saddened that the battery was launched out. After the fiasco, Drake and Bobby leave the classroom. Charlie takes a picture and walks away. Now Mike doesn't know what to do about the battery. Liv volunteers to get an extra battery and runs off, but Mike tries to tell her that it isn't worth it. Andy tells Mike that he has nothing to worry about before winking at him and walks away with the model. Mike isn't impressed at all about this, and is instead saddened as a result.

At the school's library, everyone is gathered to see the model of their classroom as well as the doll versions of themselves. Professor Pascal is quite impressed by Mike's model of the classroom, stating that he did an fantastic job on it. Charlie winks at him, causing Mike to smile and blush. Suddenly, Bobby pushes some students away and points out that the Drake doll isn't there. Drake quickly asks Mike why his doll version isn't in here, and Mike is also confused, stating that he doesn't know where it is. Professor Pascal states he has something and walks off to get it. Andy then pushes Mike gently, showing that he has the Drake doll in his hands. Mike wanted Andy to put it back, but Andy explains that this is what Drake deserves for what happened in the classroom. Mike insists that Andy puts it back, believing that this isn't funny, in stark contrast to Andy, who finds it quite amusing. He wants to humiliate Drake even more, much to the chagrin of Mike. Pascal then returns with the decorated egg and gives it to Drake and opens it. Inside the egg is a small ballerina doll. Andy then jokes about this, saying that the ballerina doll suits Drake, which Drake finds very unamusing. Andy continues joking that Drake should wear the ballerina doll's outfit since it would look good on him, causing everyone to laugh at the joke, including Bobby. Drake then pushes Bobby in the stomach to make him stop laughing. He puts the egg down which causes it to glow. Coming out of the egg was Mikroo. Scared about how big everyone is, it decides to shrink Andy, Mike, Drake, Bobby, Charlie, Rajat, Marlo, Carla, and the other students plus Professor Pascal down to the size of a mouse, all except for Pascal's dog who was trying to eat it and Liv, who was not present at the time.

Liv then enters the library with the battery, but sees that it's completely "empty". Confused, she walks around the library, calling out everyone's names with no response. Mikroo then spots her and attempts to shrink her as well, but she dodges it and continues doing so. Meanwhile, Andy and Mike, along with everyone else are small. Their classmates are busy admiring the doll versions of themselves. The cheerleading twins even taking selfies with their doll counterparts. Andy wants to transform into his superhero alter ego, but Mike stops him because everyone else is here with them. Professor Pascal compliments Mike on his model of the classroom, which makes the latter very happy. Back to Liv, the ghost is looking for her, but she was able to hide from it. She then goes to her locker in order to get to the underground laboratory as Mikroo continues searching for her. It then goes outside and becomes scared of how everything looks bigger than itself. It then goes back inside and into a bathroom. But it gets scared again due to the toilet flushing and flies off. A teenage boy then opens the door because he heard Mikroo screaming.

At the library, Andy and Mike are walking on the table. They hide behind a planet model and transform into Fury and Krush. However, when Fury was about to fly, he fell down. Realizing that since they're small, their Boo Energy is already running low. Meanwhile, in the underground laboratory, Liv is explaining the situation to Miss Jones, giving her the battery that she was going to give Mike. She presses on the computer which shows the information about Mikroo. Fury and Krush call her and tell her that their Boo Energy has already ran low due to being too small. With the help of Flubby, Miss Jones creates a Boo Energy recharger, capable of recharging their Boo Energy to full so they can fight and capture Mikroo. Back at the library, Mikroo is still searching for Liv. It then comes across Asta, who begins chasing after Mikroo. The dog gets stuck on the chair and tries to shake it off so it can resume chasing it. The shake from the table causes a tennis ball to "hit" Fury and was about to fall from the table, until Krush was able to catch him and pull him back up to the table. Mikroo then sneaks behind Asta and shrinks it.

With enough people being shrunk, Mikroo begins transforming, covering the floor with purple smoke. Liv, now in her superhero form, Myst, jumps down to the main floor of the library. She finds Fury and Krush and was going to give them the battery, but Mikroo shrinks Myst and Krush catches her before she falls. Mikroo completes its transformation into its Booster Form. The trio quickly recharge their Boo Energy to full. Now completely charged, the trio begin fighting the ghost. While Myst and Fury are distracting Mikroo, Krush has an idea. After awhile, Krush shines a flashlight above to make a shadow of the toy T-Rex. Miss Jones puts it on high volume and roars as loud as she can to scare Mikroo. Fury was able to wrap Mikroo up with the slime tentacles, making sure it doesn't try to escape long enough so Krush can release Growmax and perform the final blow on it. Mikroo reverts back to its Basic Form and gets captured in the capsule by Krush. Everyone and everything that was affected by Mikroo has returned back to their original sizes.

Later at the lockers, Drake tells Mike that with the crazy day they had, he'll need him to do his homework for him, to which Mike refuses. Drake asks why, and Mike pulls out his phone saying he recorded him, and with one click the recording will be send to the principal, with Mike telling Drake that this would give him 2 weeks of detention, meaning no basketball for him. Drake decides to leave with Bobby, and Andy admits that Mike is capable of taking care of himself alone, to which Mike tells him that he didn't even record Drake, as his phone battery is dead, to which they laugh.

Trivia[]

  • Before the prologue reveals that Mikroo's nest is a decorative egg, the book Professor Pascal was looking for has a cover depicting a diagram of a cube shrinking down. This foreshadows the ghost's power in the episode.
  • Mike's model replica of the classroom accurately featured figurines of himself and his classmates placed in the seating arrangement.
  • This episode revealed Mike skipped a grade. Thus, he's a year younger than Drake and presumably the rest of the class.
    • Mike is shown to be uncomfortable being called "kiddo" and "little guy" by Andy, hinting at his insecurity of being treated as the youngest student in the class.
  • Twice in this episode, Drake mockingly calls Mike "junior". It's indirectly revealed in "Mizuo" that Mike is named after his father Michael Collins.
  • Four bust sculpture of Mr. Vladovsky can be seen in the NYC school library.
  • At the library, a figurine of a pyramid, a spider, and a dinosaur are on the table. The pyramid is likely a reference to "Pharaok", but the spider and the dinosaur are likely foreshadowings "Arakgum" and "Dinozos".
  • In this episode, Professor Pascal's dog is revealed to be named Asta.
  • This is the first episode that features a variation of the "Locker Ritual" sequence. Liv is the only member of the Ghostforce trio to be seen entering the locker to get to Miss Jones' underground laboratory.
  • The only student who isn't seen getting shrunk by Mikroo is the boy who sits next to Andy in the classroom. The boy is later seen in the bathroom while his classmates are all at the library.
  • This is the first episode that features a different Ghostforce transformation sequence. Because Liv wasn't shrunk along with Mike and Andy since she managed to escape from Mikroo and head towards Miss Jones's underground laboratory, the transformation sequence only features Andy and Mike transforming into Fury and Krush, respectively.
  • This is the first episode in which there's a ghost who previously laid dormant inside a nest at the NYC School library and later attacked the students there. The next ghost haunting in the library is Arakgum in its titular episode.
  • This is the second time a ghost drained the Ghostforce's Boo Energy with its power after "Pharaok". Though, this episode counteracts the problem after Miss Jones created a Boo Energy recharger using a regular battery.
  • The scene where Fury tries to run away from a tennis ball after it falls off a wooden block and starts rolling towards him is likely a reference to Raiders of the Lost Ark. However, Fury manages to phase through the tennis ball instead and doesn't get hit by it.

Errors[]

  • When Andy, Liv, Drake, and Mike all tussling over the latter's scale model, none of the figurines in the box are seen moving.
  • When Mikroo shrunk Professor Pascal, his glasses didn't shrink down. So, it's strange that Mike, Carla, and Rajat managed to get shrunk down with their glasses.
    • After Krush had captured Mikroo, Professor Pascal can be seen with his glasses on despite not having shrunk down earlier in the episode.
  • After Professor Pascal and his students are shrunk and landed inside the scale model box, a figurine of Drake can be seen despite Andy secretly having it with him earlier.
  • When Krush summons Growmax, his height comparison between his shrunken form and Growmax is the same as his normal size being compared to Growmax.
