Miss Jones (first name unknown) is one of the two main deuteragonists of Ghostforce. She is a retired superhero and a co-founder of the Ghostforce. However, following a past incident where her human DNA got fused with an unidentified chaos-type ghost's Boo Energy, Miss Jones became a half-ghost human and went into self-isolation in the underground laboratory.
When Manhattan recently became haunted, she recruited Andy Baker, Liv Baker, and Mike Collins to form the second iteration of the Ghostforce to capture all the wild ghosts and stop them from terrorizing the borough. She also invented Glowboo based on the designs created by her former teammate Carpenter.
Appearance[]
Miss Jones is an average-height American woman. It is unknown what her original hair color was before her DNA was fused with Boo Energy. She currently has long light purple hair that is tied up in a ponytail that is intangible and floating up in the air by anti-gravity. Her entire right arm is intangible and is glowing purple. Both her eyes were originally blue. She currently has a beauty mark under her left eye. However, as a side effect of being a half-ghost human, she has heterochromia where her left eye is now purple.
Miss Jones regularly wears a black shirt with yellow and orange striped patterns underneath a pair of denim overalls. Her white collared lab coat has the cuff on the left sleeve ripped and there are holes at the back. She also wears a purple watch on her left wrist, horn-rimmed eyeglasses, a pair of black goggles with green lenses on top of her head, and a pair of purple sneakers with white laces.

Personality[]

Miss Jones is an intelligent, energetic, and sympathetic scientist. Despite being currently disabled, she is extremely dynamic and resourceful in that she can invent Boo Technology gadgets that can help the team on their missions to capture every single ghost in Manhattan. She also serves as the team's mission control and is always there to inform them about an active ghost in the borough and what her Boo Map detected on its Boo Energy signature.

According to the official Ghostforce website, the unidentified chaos-type ghost transformed her arm, part of her body, and also part of her brain. This results in Miss Jones having sporadic outbursts whenever she talks to the kids or reacts to something in front of her. For example, she would explain to the kids about a particular ghost specimen but suddenly shout wildly in the middle of a sentence before calming down a second later.

As the only adult within the Ghostforce, she serves as a mentor figure to the kids. Whenever they were feeling self-doubt about their roles as Manhattan's superheroes, Miss Jones would always be there to provide them with helpful pieces of advice to encourage them not to give up too soon. She trusts each of the kids and always forgives them whenever they admit to making a mistake behind her back and trying to fix it. She is also not afraid to admit her own mistakes in certain situations. For instance, in "Dunky Boss", she didn't blame Mike for taking Bouncee out of the lab and accidentally releasing it since she was the one who placed it in the wrong Boo Cap and caused him to assumed it's a Level 3 ghost instead of a Level 9. She also has a sense of humor and once played an April Fool's Day prank on the kids in "Jinjoke", but she always knows when it's the right time to have fun if there isn't an active ghost attacking Manhattan.

Miss Jones keeps a huge database on her supercomputer that provides her with information about a ghost specimen she learned during her past career as a superhero. Whenever there is a ghost awakened in Manhattan, she would inform the kids about the name of its specimen and what she knows about its powers. There are times when a ghost specimen is recently discovered by the team that she has no knowledge of and would be unable to help them. Despite this, she can quickly analyze the ghost's Boo Energy signature to determine its cycle level and how powerful it is. Along with Andy, she would give ghosts a name if they are either not from her database or merged with a receptacle.
Because of the past incident with Mr. Kasenti, Miss Jones is always worried about the current iteration of the Ghostforce whenever they are out in the field hunting ghosts. She knows very well that a majority of ghosts have powers that can be dangerous and there is a risk that the entire city would be doomed if they don't get captured in time. At first, she was hesitant about the idea of having the kids be her replacements after they first met. However, knowing that Manhattan needed a new team of heroes when it became haunted again, Miss Jones agreed because she didn't want the people of New York City to suffer from any more ghost attacks during her absence.
Despite Miss Jones often telling the kids about her experience as the former active member of the Ghostforce, she is cautious about letting them know what happened that led to her becoming a half-ghost and would always avoid mentioning anything about Carpenter or Mr. Kasenti. She would constantly address Carpenter as "an old friend of [hers]" if the kids ever asked them about Glowboo's creation. While it's currently unknown why she refuses to tell them about her past encounter with Mr. Kasenti despite him being a public figure in New York City, there is an indication that she is paranoid that he might find her if she lets the kids know.
Abilities[]
As revealed on the official Ghostforce website, Miss Jones being a half-ghost was a result of her human DNA getting fused with an unidentified chaos-type ghost's Boo Energy.[3]
- Intangibility: Miss Jones's hand can sometimes phase through solid objects, though it seems to occur on random occasions. She can be seen holding solid objects without problems in some episodes, implying that she partially figured out how to control this power.
- Chaos Creation: The official Ghostforce website mentioned that her ghost hand has the power of the unidentified chaos-type ghost whenever she touches something. For example, she can unintentionally transform a phone into an alarm clock. Despite her character biography mentioning she doesn't know how to control her powers, the series implied that she partially figured out how to keep them under control since her hand doesn't affect Andy when he attempted to high-five her in "Cyclopee".
- Sleep Levitation: Miss Jones mentioned in "Levisfer" that she can float in her sleep whenever she dreams about herself flying.
- Phosphorescence: Miss Jones's hair and ghost arm glow brightly in dark places.
History[]
Pre-Season 1[]
Not much information is known about Miss Jones's childhood or teenhood. The official Ghostforce website described her as a "pint-sized scientist" when she was eleven.[3] She mentioned in "Paniclick", that she used to own a Shutterbug camera when she was thirteen years old. She also revealed in "Mastaar" that she used to play the triangle in a band.
After graduating high school, Miss Jones attended either a college or a university to pursue an unknown undergraduate major. It's heavily implied that this was when she discovered the existence of ghosts and began researching them during her studies. While attending a course related to ancient human history, she discovered a cave painting depicting two people being chased by what appeared to be a Tyrannosaurus rex despite dinosaurs being extinct before the first arrival of humans. She later read about a legend of a giant sea serpent attacking a Caribbean pirate ship the Golden Age of Piracy. While it wasn't directly stated, it's heavily implied that she also read about a legend about Pharases II, an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh, using "paranormal forces" to build a pyramid in a single day. She eventually realized that the legends she read and the cave paintings are connected to ghosts.
When she was twenty-one, Miss Jones met a man and went on her first date with him. It's heavily implied this man was Carpenter.
After graduation, Miss Jones and Carpenter both became ghost hunters and formed a superhero team known as the Ghostforce. Together, they discovered Boo Energy and began developing Boo Technology to capture ghosts that haunt New York City. Miss Jones had captured multiple ghosts during her time as a superhero, with the two known being Glougloux and Bouncee. She also invented the Freonic Ghost Blaster and the Ghost Gauntlet as weapons for the team.
One faithful day, the Ghostforce had a run-in with a man known as Nolan Kasenti. While the details of the encounter are unclear, it resulted in Miss Jones's human DNA being merged with Boo Energy by an unidentified "ghost with multiple powers". The incident not only led to the loss of Carpenter, but Miss Jones also became a half-ghost. She's no longer able to fight ghosts with her physical state since her newfound powers can create chaos with the touch of her right ghost hand. As a result, she was forced to self-isolate in the underground laboratory that was built as the Ghostforce headquarters to prevent the risk of scaring others with her powers and also to hide herself from Mr. Kasenti. She also found a viscous ghost and successfully tamed him, naming him Glups.[3]
Since then, Miss Jones has been living in the lab with Glups where she studies herself to learn about her powers. As mentioned in "Levisfer", she discovered that she can float in her sleep whenever she dreams of herself flying. So, she invented an anti-reverse-gravity blanket to stay in bed.
Her current mission is to find the "ghost with multiple powers" so she can get Carpenter back and also restore her humanity. During her self-isolation, she would watch all the ghosts she captured in the Ghost Cloud to study their Boo Energy. At some point in her life, she successfully managed to tame Growmax, Dragoyle, Octocat, and Solarboo. She also discovered a blueprint designed by Carpenter for an android that can be powered by Boo Energy. Despite his notes being written in codes, she decided to work on the prototype in his honor and began attempting to decipher the codes to unlock the android's features.
Season 1[]
While the details from "Origins" haven't been revealed yet, she eventually met Andy Baker, Liv Baker, and Mike Collins. The kids managed to propose and convince her to let them replace her as new members of the Ghostforce to protect Manhattan from ghost attacks.
Since then, Miss Jones has supervised the kids during their missions and provided them with information on different ghost specimens they encountered. She also began inventing new Boo Technology gadgets that can help the team if they encounter a ghost that is difficult to capture.
Between the events of "Origins" and "Raijin", she also continued working hard on the computer algorithm program from Carpenter's notes. She eventually managed to successfully decipher parts of the codes and installed the AI prototype in an orange Ghostforce armor that is fueled by Solarboo. She named the android Glowboo and trained him to learn how to use his solar powers to capture ghosts.

In "Raijin", Miss Jones was preparing a surprise for the kids where she was going to ask them to come to the lab so she could introduce them to Glowboo in person. However, her plan got abrupted when Raijin was awakened from its nest at the Brooklyn Bridge, forcing her to send Glowboo as a surprise reinforcement for the team instead. Glowboo's first mission was a success, but he ended up glitching after running out of Boo Energy. So, she requested the kids to bring him to the lab to recharge him. She then properly introduced him as "a computer algorithm programmed to fulfill the same mission" as them. When Liv asked Miss Jones if she had made Glowboo all by herself, she discreetly told her that she "had a little help from an old friend of [hers]".

At some point, Miss Jones began working on the prototype for a vehicle known as the Ghost Car. In "Jellystery", she called the kids to come to the lab where she showed them various Boo Technology gadgets she have invented and displayed in the training room. She then asked Mike for help in the garage, to which he agreed, and she showed him the prototype that was almost completed. After finally finishing it together, the two headed back to the console room to bring Andy, Liv, and Glowboo to the garage and surprise them. However, their plan was abrupted when the team received an alert on the Boo Map that Liv was dealing with Jellystery who was attacking the borough.

Miss Jones learned that Myst had taken the Freonic Ghost Blaster behind her back because she wanted to mimic her exploits by weakening the ghost with it. This ended up backfiring when Jellystery gained ice powers from the blaster instead. However, before Miss Jones could help the kids deal with the ghost, the entire lab suddenly lost power because the Ghost Car prototype had triggered an electromagnetic pulse. By the time she came back from the garage and the comm-links were back on, the team already managed to figure out how to capture Jellystery and returned to the lab. Miss Jones was proud of the kids for accomplishing their mission and also forgave Liv for her mistake. She then led the team to the garage where she surprised Andy, Liv, and Glowboo with the Ghost Car prototype.
Sometime later, Glowboo suffered from a major glitch after a mission with the Ghostforce. So, Miss Jones was unable to send him to help the team capture Katastroph. It was implied during this time that Miss Jones continued working on deciphering more of Carpenter's notes while trying to fix and improve the android.

Eventually, after months of research, she managed to successfully unlock three additional features for Glowboo. In "Cyclopee", she asked the kids to come to the lab where she revealed to them the big news. While Glowboo was upgrading in his recharge station, she excitedly showed Andy the diagram of the android's features on the computer interface and explained to him what Glowboo could now do.

Just then, the team received an alert from the Boo Map that Cyclopee was awakened from its nest at the NYC school. Miss Jones was about to delay Glowboo's update so he could help the kids capture the ghost, but Liv insisted that the team could handle it without him. Miss Jones, not knowing that Liv was upset because the preteen girl mistakenly assumed that Glowboo intended to replace the entire team, agreed and told the kids that they should call for backup if necessary.

Glowboo's upgrade was eventually completed around the time the kids were having trouble dealing with Cyclopee. After Myst called Miss Jones that they needed his help, the scientist sent the android to the Empire State Building. The two heroes manage to successfully capture Cyclopee together before the team all head back to the lab to send it to the Ghost Cloud. When Liv revealed to Miss Jones that she was worried that the kids would be obsolete because of Glowboo's new features, Miss Jones assured her that the scientist never had any intention of replacing them, saying that everyone is a valuable member of the Ghostforce as Glowboo. Andy then asked her about the greyed-out he saw from the diagram earlier, which Miss Jones revealed to the kids that she was still trying to decode the features from the notes belonging to "an old friend of [hers]".

In "Somnibou", Miss Jones was playing a round of ghost chess against Liv when the team all received an alert on the Boo Map that a new unidentified ghost was awakened in Manhattan. She didn't have a record of the ghost from her database, so she suggested that the team bring Glowboo with them. A suddenly worried Mike insisted that the kids could handle the ghost on their own, but Miss Jones shot down the idea since Glowboo's an indispensable part of the team.

While supervising the team, Miss Jones noticed that Glowboo was behaving erratically during the mission. She mistakenly assumed the android had been hacked and warned the kids about it. While the team dealt with both a glitchy Glowboo and the boosted ghost Somnibou, Miss Jones went to the training room to try cracking the malware to access the code from his system. She was unable to do it because the malware was password-protected and she couldn't hack into it. Suddenly, Krush revealed to the team that the password was "27G01F" and Miss Jones was able to access it. She quickly rebooted Glowboo and removed the code in time before the android could accidentally annihilate Krush. However, she quickly realized that Krush somehow knew the password and briefly questioned it.

After the team captured Somnibou and sent it to the Ghost Cloud, Mike revealed to Miss Jones that he was the one who attempted to upgrade Glowboo as a surprise for her because he wanted to help her decode his features from her friend's notes. She accepted his apology and admitted that she was impressed by his work. She suggested that they should work together to unlock all of Glowboo's features, which he happily agreed to.

In "Biballoon", Miss Jones watched a news coverage for the 73rd Annual Central Park Festival and learned that Myst had revealed during her speech to the entire city that the Ghostforce had been domesticating ghosts to capture the wild ghosts in Manhattan. After the team sent Biballoon to the Ghost Cloud, she warned the kids that they should never reveal the secret of their Boo Technology to the public. She knew that Nolan Kasenti had seen the coverage and worried that he might someday use it against the team. Despite this, she was proud of the kids for earning a Medal of Honor from the city mayor for their heroic deeds.

In "Turbokorn", Miss Jones revealed to Andy and Liv that she had finally finished working on the Ghost Car. She was planning on training the entire team later that day to learn how to use the vehicle, but Krush alerted them of Turbokorn's awakening at the museum. The team was not fast enough to follow the ghost after witnessing it merge with a racecar at Central Park. So, Miss Jones decided to bring in the Ghost Car to take down Turbokorn around the borough. The Ghostforce managed to successfully capture Turbokorn, but she revealed that she must recharge the car before they could use it again as an emergency.
From "Jellyjack" to "Criangle", Miss Jones continued to give various upgrades for Glowboo. She even managed to successfully unlock a feature in "Ninja Ki" that allowed him to meditate whenever he unexpectedly short-circuited.
Specials[]
In "Grump King", the Boo Map alerted Miss Jones about an unidentified ghost awakening and immediately went to booster mode at the Baker residence. She didn't have records of the ghost in her database, but the kids told her that it was connected to an ancient legend about the "master of fears". She received a Boo Energy sample from Mike and began researching it, but not before recharging Glowboo again. After about an hour of research, she discovered the unidentified ghost and informed the kids that it was locked away three centuries ago by the first ghost hunters in the world. She named the ghost Grump King and warned them that they should avoid showing fear in front of it or else they'll fall into its illusional clutches and transform into Halloween creatures.
Miss Jones continued monitoring the ghost attack when the Boo Map suddenly showed forty-six ghost anomalies. She checked on the kids again, but she realized Fury was the only one active because Myst and Krush both became Grump King's victims. She warned him that the ghost created forty-six giant pumpkins that consume people's fears so it can intentionally release them into the air. If Fury was unable to capture Grump King in time, then every single ghost in Manhattan would be awakened, including the ones in the Ghost Cloud since the cage would be weakened and they would all escape into the lab. Fury was worried that he wouldn't be able to do it, but Miss Jones encouraged him that there was nothing he should fear. She then sent Glowboo to help him deal with Grump King.
After doing some thinking, she decided that Grump King was an extreme emergency and joined as a backup since the ghost was too powerful for only Fury and Glowboo to handle. She quickly activated the Ghost Car in the garage and drove it through the portal to the middle of the borough. While driving, she learned that Glowboo suffered from a system error after Grump King violently shook him from its vines. Andy also got himself separated from his medallion after one of the ghost's thorns tore it off his chest and was sent falling. Miss Jones managed to catch Andy in time by having him land safely onto the windshield of the Ghost Car. After he quickly got inside the Ghost Car, Miss Jones instructed him that he must retrieve his medallion from the sewers so he could capture the ghost. She was unable to do it herself because of her half-ghost condition, so Andy should do it.
Andy confessed to Miss Jones that he was afraid of rats and didn't want to go to the sewers because he might encounter them. Miss Jones assured him that it's normal for him to be afraid but sometimes he must be brave and face it. He mentioned that he tried it once and assumed it didn't work, but she said that it didn't always work the first time around. He must have the courage to confront his fear so it would disappear completely. When Grump King suddenly found the Ghost Car, Miss Jones quickly ejected Andy out of the vehicle and flew away to create a diversion. However, she didn't notice that Glups sneaked out of the car to help Andy in the sewers.
Miss Jones managed to get Grump King distracted at 5th Avenue while she secretly flew away to create a portal back to the lab. Suddenly, the Boo Map detected a coven of witches flying towards the portal. She quickly deactivated it and flew further away from the witches to lure them somewhere else. However, the witches cast lightning spells that caused the back engine to suffer from a malfunction. Miss Jones quickly flew the Ghost Car up to the Empire State Building and landed on the observatory floor. She then activated the emergency repair protocol, but it'll take twenty minutes until it's fixed. Grump King then found the Ghost Car and cast a giant illusion onto Miss Jones. While under the ghost's clutches, she suddenly found herself standing in front of a silhouette of Nolan Kasenti wearing a mysterious ring on his hand. She began crying in fear that he had found her, but Fury arrived just in time to snap her out of Grump King's illusions.
After Fury successfully captured Grump King, everyone in the team was reunited at the building. Miss Jones was proud of him for fighting back his fear to successfully weaken the ghost and advised him that it would take time for him to completely forget about his musophobia. The emergency protocol for the Ghost Car was also completed in time and she activated the portal back to the lab. Since Glowboo had a system error from Grump King's attack, she'll have to both recharge and repair him again. Just then, Fury suddenly asked her about her fear because he overheard her saying something about "someone finding [her]" while she was under the ghost's clutches. Realizing this, Miss Jones quickly excused her fear as something nonsensical to prevent the kids from knowing that she was hiding from Mr. Kasenti. She then headed back to the lab to avoid being questioned more.
In "Panikokado", Miss Jones was celebrating Christmas with Glups and Glowboo by baking holiday cookies. Their first batch was accidentally burned, so she quickly tried putting out the fire. This prevented her from hearing her ghostphone ringing from Mike who was calling her. However, before they could bake a second batch, Miss Jones suddenly received an alert on the Boo Map that Paniko was awakened Times Square and had merged with a Christmas tree. She called the kids and informed them that they must stop the ghost before it could ruin the holiday for everyone. When she noticed that Mike wasn't responding to her, she examined the Boo Map and let the Baker siblings know that he was at the Brooklyn Bridge. Following Paniko's capture, she wished the kids a merry Christmas before they left to celebrate with their families.
Bridge episodes[]
From "Tortress" to "Swip Swap", Miss Jones continued supervising the Ghostforce while they were hunting ghosts in Manhattan.
In "Rozamour", Miss Jones had programmed Glowboo to pretend to be a waiter for an improv Valentine's Day dinner date with Glups, presumably to cope with her loss to Carpenter. The android was serving them spaghetti with scaryballs for their dinner when the kids called them that a wild ghost had awakened at Central Park. Despite Glowboo leaving the lab to help the team capture Cupidour, Miss Jones and Glups both continued their dinner plan.
Relationships[]
Liv Baker/Myst[]

Miss Jones with Liv in the training room.
Miss Jones chose Liv as the leader of the second iteration of the Ghostforce. To her, Liv reminds her of the brave "young girl she once was" with the same fascination towards ghosts.
She knows how much Liv admires her for her exploits as a former active member of the Ghostforce. In "Jellystery", she briefly revealed to Liv that she once used the Freonic Ghost Blaster to take down a viscous ghost when the preteen girl asked her about it. She was later shocked when she learned that Myst secretly took the blaster behind her back and accidentally caused Jellystery to gain ice powers instead. While she did briefly scold Myst for not properly trained to handle the blaster, Miss Jones understood that the preteen girl was trying to impress and be like her. Before Liv almost quit because of her mistake, Miss Jones forgave her and told her that she could learn from her experience to avoid repeating it.
In "Cyclopee", Miss Jones delivered the big news to the team that she unlocked three new features for Glowboo. She was so excited about the upgrade that she didn't notice that she unintentionally caused Liv to mistakenly assume Miss Jones wouldn't be needing the kids anymore and they would all be replaced with Glowboo. When Liv later expressed her concerns about it after the team captured Cyclopee, Miss Jones eased her worry by saying that she sees everyone as an equally valuable member of the team.
When Miss Jones noticed that Myst had a stressful day in "Ninja Ki", she advised her to calm herself and not take out her anger on everyone around her. She even suggested that she take some Zen yoga exercises to maintain her stress level while the team was in the middle of hunting Ninja Ki.
Mike Collins/Krush[]

Miss Jones and Mike teaming up to unlock Glowboo's features from Carpenter's notes.
Miss Jones chose Mike to be the strategic member of the second iteration of the Ghostforce. To her, Mike reminds her of the "pint-sized scientist she was at his age".[3]
She trusts Mike for his intellect and resourcefulness that she would sometimes ask for his help for a Boo Technology gadget in the lab. In "Jellystery", she let Mike be the first person to see the prototype of the Ghost Car she was working on in the garage, which they completed together before surprising the team later that day. In "Somnibou", she forgave Mike for his mistake after he had attempted to impress her by upgrading Glowboo without her knowing to surprise her, but accidentally caused Glowboo to have a major system error. She then revealed to Mike that she was already impressed, so they both began working together to decipher Carpenter's notes to continue unlocking Glowboo's features.
Miss Jones is also aware of Mike's struggle with self-confidence and self-esteem issues because he is the only son of the New York Dragons basketball player Michael Collins. When Krush confessed to Miss Jones that he has arachnophobia which made him believe he wasn't cut out to be a superhero because he was unable to face Arakgum alone, she understood how he felt and revealed to him that she's always scared whenever he and the rest of the team were out in the field. She advised him that being a superhero doesn't automatically make him fearless, but he should try facing it to save everyone he loves.
As of "Panikokado", Miss Jones doesn't know that Mike has unintentionally helped Mr. Kasenti unlock a drone program that secretly gathers intel on the current iteration of the Ghostforce.
Andy Baker/Fury[]

Miss Jones cheering for Andy in "Dunky Boss".
Miss Jones chose Andy to be the second-in-command of the Ghostforce. To her, Andy reminds her of how "much of a daredevil" her former partner Carpenter was.
She understands that Andy can be reckless and make impulsive decisions in both his civilian and superhero lives. In "Glougloux", Fury had released Glougloux for a training session and accidentally caused the ghost's escape into the borough while she was taking a nap. She later forgave him since she knew he had learned from his mistake and told him that making him clean up her Boo Compost as punishment is too cruel for her to do.
Miss Jones knows Andy likes playing basketball since, in "Dunky Boss", she supported him when he was featured in a live city-wide television broadcast for the Junior Dunking competition at Times Square that was hosted by his idol Michael Collins.
While she finds Andy to be funny since he has the biggest sense of humor within the team, Miss Jones tends to not like when Andy decides to joke around at the worst possible time. In "Prehistorrible", she didn't know that Andy had an errand to run where he must go to the Z Heroes Comic Books store to sign a comic boxset for his crush Carla. She presumed he was slacking off when he asked if he could capture Prehistorrible later, to which she briefly made a sarcastic remark that she would let the ghost take over the city before yelling at him to transform into Fury immediately.
Glowboo[]

Miss Jones playing a round of ghost chess with Glowboo.
Miss Jones invented Glowboo as the fourth member of the second iteration of the Ghostforce after she discovered a blueprint of his design that was created by Carpenter. While Glowboo was initially programmed to fulfill the same mission as the kids, she doesn't see Glowboo as just a "robot" after she brought him to life with Boo Energy. Instead, she finds him to be an equally valuable member of the team and treats him like an individual.
Whenever Glowboo is active in the lab and not recharging in his station, Miss Jones spends time with Glowboo which includes baking desserts and playing ghost chess together. It is presumed that the activities are not only Miss Jones's way to test out his programming and help with chores around the lab but also to develop a genuine bond with him. For example, she specifically mentioned in "Arakgum" that both she and Glowboo baked beetroot-flavored cheesecakes together before receiving an alert on the Boo Map about Arak's awakening. The activities allowed Glowboo to grow beyond his programming where the two now see each other as family, especially when they and Glups all celebrated Christmas together in "Panikokado".
Her mission is to successfully decipher all of Carpenter's notes before Glowboo can someday reach his full potential. So, she is always worried about him since his features aren't fully unlocked yet. During his early life as a superhero, Glowboo would constantly run low on Boo Energy or suffer from system errors she would constantly ask the kids to bring him back to the lab so she could fix, upgrade, and recharge him. When she mistakenly assumed Glowboo was hacked in "Somnibou", she wasn't hesitant to quickly remove the code from his system and later checked on him to see if he was all right.
Glups[]

Miss Jones with Glups after she successfully de-boosted him in "Jellyjack".
On the same day as her former teammate Carpenter's vanishment, Miss Jones found a viscous ghost and named him Glups. She then took him to the underground laboratory and successfully tamed him to be her companion. Since then, the two have been living together in the lab for many years where they would study ghosts and Miss Jones's half-ghost handicap.[3]
Because Glups is allergic to sunlight and stays in the lab with her so he won't revert into a wild ghost again, Miss Jones invented scaryballs for him to eat as a substitute for ingesting people's fears. As revealed in "Jellyjack", she can only feed Glups a small number of scaryballs to prevent the risk of him going to booster mode. She cares deeply for Glups since he was the only friend she had left after Carpenter's disappearance and before the second iteration of the Ghostforce was formed. When she found out that Liv accidentally caused Glups to escape from the lab while feeding him scaryballs, Miss Jones was worried about him and instructed the Ghostforce to quickly bring him back to the lab to de-boost, or else he'll ingest enough fear and stay wild permanently.
It is presumed that Glups taught her an unidentified ghost language he speaks since she can understand him very well. This was hinted at in "Boopsie" when Miss Jones was informed by Glups about a marking created by the titular ghost that he saw on the back hem of Andy's shirt.
Carpenter[]

Miss Jones remembering her first date.
Before the events of the series, Miss Jones used to be very close with Carpenter since they were both co-founders of the Ghostforce. They presumably met during their undergraduate years at a college or university when Miss Jones was around 21 years old. He also shared the same fascination with ghosts as her. However, ever since Carpenter's disappearance after their run-in with Mr. Kasenti, Miss Jones's current mission is to find the unidentified "ghost with multiple powers" and capture it so she can bring him back.
In "Sharkoak", Miss Jones reminisced about her first date with him when she heard from Fury that Myst might have a crush on a boy at school. This indicates that she and Carpenter both have a loving relationship that is more than just heroic partners.
It is Miss Jones's love for Carpenter that made her decide to build Glowboo in his honor after discovering a blueprint for an android that can be infused with Boo Energy. Whenever the kids asked her if she built Glowboo all by herself, she would always discreetly credit Carpenter as the original designer by simply addressing him as an "old friend of [hers]".
Because she currently misses him dearly, it heavily implied that the Valentine's Day dinner date she had with Glups in "Rozamour" was her way to cope with her loss.
Nolan Kasenti[]
While information about Miss Jones's past with Mr. Kasenti is unclear, the two encountered each other when the first iteration of the Ghostforce was active. The run-in had led to Miss Jones becoming a half-ghost and Carpenter's capture by the unidentified "ghost with multiple powers". Since then, Miss Jones has hidden herself in the lab to protect herself from Mr. Kasenti who is searching for her all over the city.[3]
As revealed in "Grump King", Miss Jones's worst fear is the possibility of Mr. Kasenti finding her and it's connected to a ring he's currently wearing on his hand. Her paranoia leads her to not tell the second iteration of the Ghostforce everything about her past and why they should avoid Mr. Kasenti at all costs. However, as of "Panikokado", she has indirectly put the entire team in danger because she doesn't know that Mike had been tricked by Mr. Kasenti into launching a drone program that lead to KassKorp Industry now has a collection of data on their Boo Technology and powers.

Trivia[]
- Miss Jones is a replacement for Professor Richenbach who was originally the one who recruited Andy, Mike, and Liv to form the Ghostforce.
- According to a 2021 Ghostforce sizzle reel, Miss Jones was planned to be a science teacher similar to Richenbach. However, this has changed because it doesn't make sense for her to openly teach at a school with her half-ghost disability. Instead, she serves as a mentor figure to the main trio.
- She is described as a "wacky professor" on the 2021 Ghostforce brand deck by Ypsilon Films.[4]
- Miss Jones's outfit is loosely inspired by the Thirteenth Doctor from Doctor Who.
- The official Ghostforce website described her as a "crazy version" of Q from Star Trek.[3]
- Based on Miss Jones's accent and how Glowboo once mentioned she uses the English slang "glob" when referring to a mouth, she seems to be an immigrant from either Ireland or Scotland.
- Because Miss Jones must hide in the underground laboratory and not leave unless it's an emergency, she seems to request the second iteration of the Ghostforce to do errands for her like purchasing groceries.
- "Bananice" shows her eating a Bananice popsicle, so the main trio must have ordered one from the Ghost Dog stand for her after they captured Freezofear.
- She mentioned in "Dinozos" that all she has is instant noodles, which she was later seen eating in "Piktoo".
- Miss Jones's hair and half-ghost arm were originally going to be depicted as blue instead of purple. This was likely changed because blue was already Mike's signature color as Krush.
- She was also originally depicted as not wearing eyeglasses.
- Miss Jones is revealed to be an environmentalist in "Krik-Krok", which is the reason why she created Boo Compost.
- Despite Miss Jones mainly using her ghostphone to call the kids, presumably to avoid being tracked by Mr. Kasenti, she was shown to have a smartphone in "Vochaos". That smartphone was used by Glowboo to play a racing video game against Andy.
- Sometimes Miss Jones would be doing either yoga or meditations in the lab, presumably to calm her mind since it's largely affected by the chaotic-type ghost's Boo Energy.
- So far, Miss Jones was seen getting attacked by a wild ghost on three separate occasions.
- The first was Chronoklok who froze time in the lab after merging with Mike's watch.
- The second was Scream Scratch after Andy unintentionally brought its nest into the lab garage.
- The third was Grump King when the ghost projected an illusion of Mr. Kasenti onto her.
- While it's unknown how old Miss Jones is, she is estimated to be born between the late 1970s and the early 1980s. This is because she mentioned in "Paniclick" that she used to own a Shutterbug camera when she was 13 years old.
- This would imply she's around the same age as Jay Baker and Melissa Baker since they both currently own a model that is similar to the one Miss Jones used to have.
- In "Batata", Miss Jones did an air guitar solo in the lab before the kids informed her about the titular ghost's awakening. It's currently unknown if she created an invisible guitar with her chaotic powers since she was briefly seen casually "placing" it onto Mike's hands and the latter was visibly confused about it.
- She is likely a vegetarian because she and Glowboo both baked a veggie pie in "Scaregrow".
- Grump King reveals her worst fear is Nolan Kasenti finding her
