This article is about the ghost. You may be looking for the special.

I'm afraid this holiday won't be so happy, kids. You're dealing with Paniko, a Level 7 ghost.

Miss Jones, "Panikokado"

Paniko is a Level 7 wild ghost from an unspecified family.[note 1]

In "Panikokado", it was awakened from its nest after Mr. Kasenti tricked Michael Collins into cutting the ribbon to present New York City's largest Christmas tree at Times Square. It later merged with said tree and briefly became Panikokado.

Appearance[]

Kawai mode[]

Paniko is a light green ghost known for its long red snake-like tongue. It has light green eyes, black scleras, two upper and lower fangs, a large pair of bushy eyebrows, an antennae on its head, and a short tail. It has a small pair of hands with three clawed fingers and a pair of small feet with two clawed toes. The center of the ghost's body has a red gradient that becomes more noticeable whenever it gains more Boo Energy.

As Panikokado[]

Upon merging with a Christmas tree, Panikokado gained a tree-like body with a pair of cannon-like arms and a star at the end of its tail. Its eyes changed from light green to yellow. Two of the presents underneath the tree became a pair of dinosaur-shaped feet, while the Christmas lights appeared on its back.

History[]

Specials[]

At an unknown point, Paniko found a long red ribbon and started using it as a nest. In "Panikokado", on a foggy day before Christmas, Mr. Vladovsky eventually found the nest and delivered it to Nolan Kasenti at the Brooklyn Bridge. The nest was later used the following day for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to present New York City's largest Christmas tree at Times Square. As part of Mr. Kasenti's evil plan against the Ghostforce, he manipulated his client Michael Collins into presenting the tree and instructed him to not cut the ribbon until the right time. After Mr. Kasenti managed to trick Mike Collins into fixing a program at the Kasenti Tower that launched multiple drone cameras around Manhattan, he told one of his bodyguards to initiate the ceremony.

Mr. Collins cut the ribbon and inaugurated the Christmas tree as instructed, but his action caused Paniko to wake up. Since there were a lot of people at Times Square for the ceremony, the ghost quickly attacked everyone and consumed their fear before it merged with the Christmas tree and became Panikokado. It then left Times Square and continued its rampage at 5th Avenue where its attack eventually alerted the Ghostforce. While Fury headed to the Brooklyn Bridge to search for Mike, both Myst and Glowboo fought Panikokado and discovered its weakness was the star on its tail. Myst eventually opened a spectral gate and transported herself and Glowboo to the bridge, so they could bring the fight there.

After Glowboo was caught in Panikokado's present attack, Mike transformed into Krush and helped the rest of his teammates deal with the ghost. Myst explained her theory that the star on Panikokado's tail might have powered the cannons, and they must take down the lights that were on its back to shut them down. Fury used his flexible slime and held onto the cannons, while Krush froze the lights for Myst to fire her spectral arrow at the star. The plan was a success and Krush was able to release Growmax to deboosted Panikokado to its kawai mode before capturing it, freeing everyone from the latter ghost's attacks. After the Ghostforce all celebrated Christmas with their respective families, Paniko was sent to the Ghost Cloud where it now resides with the other captive ghosts.

Abilities[]

  • Levitation: Paniko can levitate in both its kawai and booster modes.
  • Intangibility: Paniko can phase through solid objects. The only exceptions are when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.
  • Possession: As a merger ghost, Paniko can gain additional powers by possessing objects. The only receptacle it was seen merged with was a giant Christmas tree.

Paniko can use its snake-like tongue to attack sentient beings and force them to dance uncontrollably while glowing in bright neon colors. After merging with the Christmas tree, Panikokado can fire presents from its cannons that can trap sentient beings inside.
