“ | Hey! That's not cool, that's cold! Miss Jones, the ghost has merged with a subway train. I could really use some backup. | ” |
—Fury, "Prehistorrible" |
- Note: It's unknown what the official name of this ghost specimen is. For consistency and readability, the ghost would be addressed by its merger name "Prehistorrible" until confirmation from any official sources.
This unnamed ghost specimen is a Level 7 wild ghost from an unspecified family.[note 1]
In "Prehistorrible", it was awakened from its nest after a little girl played with the mammoth tusk at the American Museum of Natural History. It later merged with the 4 Lexington Avenue Express subway train and briefly became Prehistorrible.
Appearance[]
Kawai mode[]
In its kawai mode, it is a light-blue ghost with a circular body with three icicles on its head and eight limbs. It has light-blue eyes, dark-blue scleras, and a pair of large light-blue eyebrows. It also has a mammoth-like trunk and a pair of tusks.
As Prehistorrible[]
Upon merging with a subway train, Prehistorrible became much larger and its limbs were replaced with six wheels. Its entire body resembled a train car and there was a giant "NYC" sign on the front of its face. Its mouth became more visible and was located where the trunk's nostrils were supposed to be. The mouth also had two upper and lower fangs.
History[]
Season 1[]

At some point, the ghost found a mammoth tusk and started using it as a nest. In "Prehistorrible", the tusk was lent to the American Museum of Natural History for a prehistoric exhibition that was sponsored by KassKorp Industry. While Nolan Kasenti was giving a speech to the museumgoers, a little girl became fascinated with the tusk and played it like a blow horn. Her action not only interrupted Mr. Kasenti's speech but also unintentionally led to the ghost's awakening. The ghost began freezing various people as they were trying to evacuate the museum. It then overheard Liv Baker's ghostphone ringing while she and Mike Collins were hiding from the ghost. It ambushed the two kids and immediately froze them too, preventing them from transforming into their superhero identities to capture it.

The ghost then left the museum and was surprised to see how much the outside world had changed since the last time it was active. It curiously flew towards a bridge and saw a 4 Lexington Avenue Express subway train chugging on the rail. This interested the ghost enough to merge with the train and become Prehistorrible. The merging process caused a massive spike of Boo Energy which alerted Miss Jones from the underground laboratory.

The Boo Map detected the ghost moving around the subway tunnels as it explored the surroundings in its new form. As soon as it came out of the tunnel at Midtown, Fury was already there waiting for it. He instantly fired a flexible slime at Prehistorrible's eyes, but this startled the ghost and it derailed to get the slime off. As soon as it recovered its vision, Prehistorrible found itself on 5th Avenue and saw various people there. It then went on a rampage by scaring everyone on the sidewalk before freezing them with its trunk. When it almost reached Times Square, Fury reappeared and tied its trunk with his flexible slime. This stunned the ghost and it tried to get him to let go of the slime by spinning itself around. Fury's hands were full since he was holding Carla's comic book collection, so he was unable to capture Prehistorrible while grabbing onto the slime. The ghost then broke the slime before knocking him away with its trunk.

Around a minute later, Prehistorrible found Fury at the Brooklyn Bridge and charged towards him. The ghost presumably didn't notice the box set that was on the bridge, but regardless, Glowboo shoved Fury out of the ghost's path and caused it to freeze the box set instead. When it turned around and saw the Ghostforce were together, it was about to attack all of them next. However, it was shot by Myst's spectral arrow before it was instantly trapped by Krush's fractal ice. Fury then tied Prehistorrible's trunk with his flexible slime again, completely stunning it. This allowed Fury to release Dragoyle and deboost Prehistorrible back to its kawai mode before capturing it, freeing everyone from the ice. It was later sent to the Ghost Cloud where it now resides with the other captive ghosts.
Abilities[]
- Levitation: Prehistorrible can levitate in both its kawai and booster modes.
- Intangibility: Prehistorrible can phase through solid objects. The only exceptions are when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.
- Possession: As a merger ghost, Prehistorrible can gain additional powers by possessing objects. The only receptacle it was seen merged with was a subway train.
Prehistorrible can freeze anyone by shooting out ice from its trunk.

Trivia[]
- Prehistorrible's name is a portmanteau of the English words "prehistorical" and "horrible", referring to its nest being displayed for the museum's prehistoric exhibition.
- This ghost is one of the many specimens that were recently discovered by the Ghostforce.
- Because Miss Jones initially didn't have any record of this ghost specimen, it's currently unconfirmed if Prehistorrible was active during the Pleistocene ice age before it went to sleep in a mammoth tusk.
- Prehistorrible's cycle level was never mentioned in its titular episode, but it was captured in a bronze Boo Cap reserved for Level 7 ghosts.
- Prehistorrible, Growmax, Freezofear, and Freakking are the only ghosts with powers related to ice.
- Ironically, Prehistorrible was trapped by Krush's fractal ice before it was captured by Fury.
- Despite being a ghost with extraterrestrial origins, it can make sounds that are similar to Earth's elephants.
- Prehistorrible merged with the longest receptacle shown in the series, which is a subway train.
