Trivia[]
- This is the fifth time a ghost is awakened in the beginning before the title card, following "Sporofungus", "Chronoklok", "Graffurious", and "Levisfer".
- Because the mother and her son plan to go to the beach before Sandyrok's awakening, this episode is implied to occur in late spring or early summer.
- Geographically, Manhattan has its first public beach in October 2023.[5] Because this episode was released before the opening of the Gansevoort Peninsula, then the mother and her son were likely about to travel to another borough so they can go to the beach before Sandyrok attacked them.
- This episode reveals Mr. Collins sponsors for KassKorp Industry.
- Because of Mr. Kasenti's suspicious activities, it's heavily implied he intentionally placed the promotional launch party for Mr. Collins's latest sneaker line on the same day as the latter's plan to hang out with his son at Technocon. Mr. Collins is shown multiple times in previous episodes to care for his son and wants to spend time with Mike despite his busy schedule getting in the way.
- This is the second episode where Mr. Collins launches a new sneaker line after the Collins Kicks in "Zipzap".
- Carla claimed that she has a male cousin who "got beamed on [a real flying saucer] from a cornfield" and she's jealous of how lucky he got to experience it. It's unknown whether what she said is an exaggeration or the truth since Mrs. Baker dismisses her claim as her cousin pranking her.
- This episode reveals that Glowboo has an affection chip. It's likely the chip was upgraded to increase his love and empathy towards humanity to reduce the risk of him ever turning against the team after the "Somnibou" incident.
- Mr. Kasenti was at the Collins Tower when Sandyrok terrorized everyone there. Unbeknownst to the Ghostforce, their fight against the ghost indirectly causes him to realize the current superhero team does not have its original members.
- When Krush breaks down in front of Fury about his father bailing on him, he mentions he can't remember the last time he and his father hung out because of the latter's busy schedule. The last time Mike and his father mentioned having to hang out was off-screen after the events of "Zipzap".
Errors[]
- Mike leaves Times Square after his father cancels their plans for the Technocon. However, Sandyrok is later seen merging with a gargoyle near the square. Because of Mike's walking distance, it's unknown how he didn't notice the bright light a few miles away until Miss Jones called him from his ghostphone.
