Trivia[]
- This is the ninth time a ghost is awakened in the beginning before the title card, following "Sporofungus", "Chronoklok", "Graffurious", "Levisfer", "Sandyrok", "Hypnolion", "Jinjoke", and "Gumglue".
- This is also the first episode where the prologue featured the main trio.
- The main trio was rehearsing a new song for their band the Boo Fighters at the Collins Tower before Scorpod's attack.
- What triggered Mike to accidentally awaken Scorpod from its nest is a spider crawling on his fist. Both "Arakgum" and "Gumglue" stated that he has arachnophobia.
- This is the eighteenth episode where one or more member(s) of the Ghostforce team got affected by a wild ghost's power.
- Based on Roland's reaction, this episode marks the first time the current iteration of Ghostforce is seen failing to capture a wild ghost.
- This episode reveals to both the main trio and the audience the consequences if a wild ghost doesn't get captured after it awakes to briefly attack its surroundings. According to Miss Jones, ghosts can devolve back into their kawai form when they reach peak fear and would find a new nest to sleep so they can begin a new cycle of Boo Energy, allowing them to become one level stronger once awakened again. The Ghostforce is required to capture every single ghost they encounter or else everyone affected by its attack won't be restored to normal.
- The plot is similar to "Katastroph" where it features a character losing their self-motivation. However, unlike Andy/Fury's internal dilemma about his agility, Liv/Myst's is external. The team's failure to capture Scorpod the first time made Liv/Myst learn how it would heavily affect everyone in Manhattan. The Manhattanites all look up to the Ghostforce to protect their borough from ghost attacks. If the team is unable to catch a single ghost in previous missions and the attacks get spread to other boroughs, then the entire city would be doomed and the responsibility would fall onto their shoulders.
- This is the first episode that features a recharging station for Dragoyle, Octocat, and Growmax. Because the team's medallions all run on their respective ghost's Boo Energy, they must always bring both their ghosts and their medallions to the lab to recharge their powers before another mission.
- It also revealed that the main trio's ghosts always sleep in their Boo Capsule unless they are awakened to deliver a final blow on a wild ghost.
- This is the first episode where Dragoyle and Octocat are seen outside their summoning sequences.
- This is the third episode where the transformation sequence only features Andy and Liv, following "Burghorror" and "Gumglue".
- When Myst travels to the Collins Tower to use Mike's amplifier to stunt Scorpod, she flies past a poster of Ladybug from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
- Myst holds the amplifier over her head before she stunts Scorpod with the system's loud vibrations. This is a reference to how John Cusack holds a boombox in Say Anything....
- While Miss Jones tries to bypass the password for Mike's amplifier system, Glups "faints" by briefly dropping onto the ground before recovering.
- This is the third episode that didn't feature the aftermath of the team capturing a wild ghost, following "Sporofungus" and "Vochaos".
