Trivia[]

  • This is the first time a wild ghost's name isn't mentioned in its featured episode.
  • When Andy is first seen running at Central Park, a man is seen reading a newspaper on the bench. The newspaper front cover has a picture of Michael Collins, likely foreshadowing the basketball game he'll later host.
  • Based on both Miss Jones's and Glups's reactions to seeing Asta, the latter is the first dog to be inside the underground laboratory. Glups is shown to be curious about Asta since he has never seen a dog before due to not being allowed to leave the lab. Miss Jones also doesn't recognize Asta nor know his name, so she likely never met his owner Professor Pascal.
  • The Ghost Gauntlet appears for the second time after "Jellystery". Here, Miss Jones upgraded the gauntlet to let the team copy any power belonging to a ghost they previously captured.
  • This is the first episode where a wild ghost reappears after its debut episode. In this case, it's Freezofear who first appeared in "Bananice".
  • Mike is shown to still falsely believe his father doesn't get that he's not interested in basketball and is upset after receiving a text from him. This is not true since Mr. Collins is fully aware of Mike's interests in gadgets as seen in "Chronoklok". Both the audience and players in the basketball courtyard are consisted of Mike's classmates. So, it's likely Mr. Collins was asking Mike to go to the game so he can support his friends and try out the Dragon Venom energy drink; Mike must have mistakenly assumed his father was inviting him to participate in the game since he is later seen watching it from the audience.
  • Mr. Collins launched another product line after the Collins Kicks in "Zipzap". This time, it's a line of energy drink called Dragon Venom.
  • This is the first episode where Miss Jones is seen without her glasses.
  • This is the first episode a wild ghost is awakened from its nest inside the underground laboratory.
  • This is the second episode where Miss Jones gets affected by a wild ghost after "Chronoklok".
  • Despite Miss Jones working on the Ghost Gauntlet in the garage of the underground laboratory, the Ghost Car isn't seen. As seen in "Jellystery", the platform for the vehicle must be raised so it can appear.
  • The episode reveals that the giant Ghostforce emblem in the garage is a portal that can teleport anyone to any location in Manhattan. While it isn't stated, the portal is specifically created for the Ghost Car since the vehicle can't fit through the lockers to get out of the lab. However, because Scream Scratch causes Miss Jones to become itchy, she accidentally turns on the portal and the ghost uses it to escape into the city.
  • This is the first episode where Glowboo is seen interacting with one of the main trio's classmates. Here, he apologizes to Drake after accidentally hitting his forehead with a Boo Cap because he meant to throw it at Scream Scratch.
  • This is the twelfth episode where one or more member(s) of the Ghostforce team become affected by a wild ghost's power.

Errors[]

  • Glowboo has two recharge chambers in the lab; one located in the first layer and another near the portal to the training room. However, after Miss Jones awakes him to capture Scream Scratch, a chamber suddenly appears near the garage entrance despite it isn't seen beforehand.
