The first season of Ghostforce premiered in 2021 and 2022 around the world. It contains fifty-two 11 minute episodes, which are aired in pairs to fill in the show's half-hour timeslot.[4]
The world premiere of season 1 was in Israel on July 25, 2021, with the airing of "Bananice" and "Pharaok" on Disney Channel.
The English premiere of season 1 was in Spain on October 2, 2021 with the airings of "Bananice" & "Pharaok" on Disney Channel. The United States premiere was on October 1st, 2021 on Disney XD & then later on November 1st, 2021 the series made its Disney Channel debut.[5]
And the French premiere of season 1 was in France on August 21, 2021, with the airing of "Mikroo" as a "series preview" on various cable operators.[6]

- The season originally consisted of 78 episodes instead of 52.[19]
- This could likely be because some of Zagtoon's shows are consisted of 52 episodes.
- According to a PDF document on the official Method Animation website, this season had a budget of €8,500,000 ($10,039,010 USD).[20]
- The release of this season was pushed back five times. It was originally announced to be released in 2016, then 2017[21], then 2018[22], then 2019[23], then 2020. The series finally premiered in 2021 with its release on July 25 in Israel.
- The season was originally planned to debut in France on TFou on August 28, 2021. However, the entirely of "Mikroo" premiered on August 21, 2021, as a "series preview".[6]
- Both the production order and the airing order for this season didn't follow the chronological order.
- For example, Glowboo is introduced to the team in "Raijin" with the production code being 113. However, he has already made appearances in prior episodes, with his very first episode appearance in both airing order and production order being "Sharkoak" which has the production code 106.
- Another example is how "Vochaos" was aired after "Artiflame". The former episode takes place a day before summer vacation despite "Artiflame" aired first and the latter episode takes place on July 4th which is during summer vacation.
- Whenever the episodes are aired on TV, there'll be two episodes airing together in order to fill up the half-hour time slot. Sometimes the sister episodes that aired together would follow the production code order, but there are some cases where they don't. For instance, "Katastroph" would often be aired alongside "Jellystrey" despite the production code being 119 and 117, respectively.
