Solarboo is a minor yet pivotal character of Ghostforce. It is a tamed ghost from an unspecified family. It is currently being stored inside its Boo Cap to provide Boo Energy for Glowboo's medallion.[1]
When the situation calls for it, Solarboo is released from its Boo Cap by Glowboo for his finishing move to weaken a wild ghost that terrorizes Manhattan.
Appearance[]
Solarboo is an orange ghost with a rounded body, orange eyes, and black scleraes. While it is mainly inside of its Boo Cap, it seems to have a white underbelly, a pair of antennae with yellow pectoral-like fins, and a tail. It also has a yellow hexagonal pattern on top of its head.
Abilities[]
- Levitation: Solarboo can levitate in both its kawai and booster modes.
- Intangibility: Solarboo can phase through solid objects. The only exception is when it is inside one of the Boo Caps.
- Solar Blast: As a power source for Glowboo, Solarboo can create glowing balls of light to temporarily blind its enemies.

Trivia[]
- Solarboo's name was first revealed on the official Ghostforce website and was only mentioned under Glowboo's character biography.
- An error near the end of Glowboo's character biography stated that the ghost's "name [is] not determined yet" despite it having already been mentioned earlier. Because the ghost hasn't appeared in the series yet, it's unknown if Solarboo is the final name for the ghost or if its name would later change for its first official appearance.
- Solarboo is currently the only tamed ghost who doesn't get a proper introduction in the first season. It only appeared on the console interface whenever it showed Glowboo recharging.
- After Glowboo got transformed into a bat by Batata in its titular episode, Miss Jones used Solarboo's Boo Energy as fuel for a gadget called the Ghost Lighter.
