Trivia[]
- This is the second episode that shows a ghost chess game. The game was previously played between Glowboo and Glups in "Cyclopee".
- When Mike is talking to Glowboo about his plans to upgrade the android, the diagram on the interface shows the features Miss Jones still hasn't fully decoded since "Cyclopee". In this episode, the diagram revealed she recently discovered another unknown hidden feature which is located at Glowboo's head.
- In this episode, Mike has attempted to unlock all of Glowboo's hidden features that were mentioned in the diagram by decoding Miss Jones's friend's notes. However, it's revealed that deciphering the codes is difficult and risky; a single mistake can cause major glitches in Glowboo's circuits.
- Similar to both "Jellystery" and "Glougloux", this episode heavily features one of the team members accidentally creating a situation behind Miss Jones's back and is afraid of getting in trouble if she finds out. Like the previous times, Miss Jones forgives them and understands they are trying to fix their mistakes.
- This is the fifth episode where Miss Jones has no knowledge of a specific wild ghost after "Xhypno", "Burghorror", "Vochaos", "Bubble-Brush", and "Creepop". Here, she doesn't have records of Somnibou in her database before the team discovered its awakening.
- Just like with the two latter episodes, Fury gave the recently-discovered ghost a name based on its powers.
- Had Glowboo didn't get malfunctioned right during Somnibou's attack, then it's likely Krush would have successfully captured the ghost after throwing a Boo Cap at it. Somnibou's back is turned from seeing an incoming Boo Cap before Glowboo knocks it away from the ghost.
- In addition, in a scenario where throwing the Boo Cap at Somnibou failed before it switches to booster mode, Glowboo's solar powers would have easily distracted the ghost and allowed the team to capture it faster.
- This is the first episode where the team must capture a wild ghost when it's dark outside. However, they didn't technically fight it at night since Somnibou's booster mode caused the sun in the sky to get covered similar to that of an eclipse.
- Somnibou's ability to cover the Earth's sun and make the city shrouded in darkness likely foreshadows "Chaorion" where it reveals the possibility of ghosts originating from outer space.
- While it's unknown how far Somnibou caused the sky to get dark outside, both Brooklyn and parts of Jersey City are seen covered in darkness.
- This marks the first time Glowboo turns against his friends because of his malfunctionality.
- This is the fourth episode where a wild ghost almost leaves Manhattan when it attacks the Brooklyn Bridge after "Artiflame", "Chronoklok", and "Creepop".
- This is the fourteenth episode where one or more member(s) of the Ghostforce team got affected by a wild ghost's power.
- This is the fifth episode in which a wild ghost is seen being sent to the Ghost Cloud after "Trashotic", "Cyclopee", "Gmagicard", and "Glougloux".
