Fury! Can I have a ghostfie? Oh, it's like a selfie but with the Ghostforce.

—Stacy, "Scaregrow"

Stacy is a recurring character of Ghostforce. She is a student in Professor Pascal's class at the NYC school located in Manhattan, New York City. She is also the twin sister of Jane and one of the two cheerleaders of the school. She briefly became an actress for Solar-Man: The Movie in "Xhypno".

Appearance[]

Stacy is a slender preteen girl with fair skin long blonde hair and green eyes. Her blonde hair is normally tied in a ponytail with a black tie.

She regularly wears a cheerleading uniform, white knee-length socks, and white shoes. The uniform's top is mostly black with a yellow D initial sewn at the front, a yellow zigzag around the midsection, a yellow V-neck, a pair of yellow short sleeves, and a black pleated skirt.

Personality[]

Meta&Lix 016

Stacy is a mean, arrogant, rude, and stuck-up cheerleader of the school who is described to be the smarter of the twins.[2] She tends to be bossy and judgemental towards her peers, including her twin sister Jane, and looks down upon those who don't meet her standards. She is also obsessed with becoming famous online and wants to take selfies with any celebrities in Manhattan for her social media following, as shown in "Xhypno" when she became excited about meeting Serge Lightman and Fury.

Batata 026

She is quite mischievous and conniving, often coming up with schemes to stir up trouble for her peers. In "Batata", she and Jane both set back all the clocks at the school by an hour to buy themselves more time in the morning, which can be seen as harmless. However, there are instances where her schemes come off as inconsiderate and reckless, especially if she is trying to get social media clout. She had attempted to prank Rajat by giving him a cheesecake with a firecracker and secretly filming him for an online challenge in "Kaboom", not thinking how it would affect him if the cake explodes in front of him. She was even willing to discover the Ghostforce's secret identities in "Gumglue" because of her selfish desire to become famous.

Despite her nastiness, Stacy isn't always a mean person and has shown to be caring towards her twin sister Jane. She is indifferent towards her classmates, but if she doesn't act rude or judgemental in front of them, she can be surprisingly decent and would be impressed by those who display great skills and talents. For instance, Stacy normally dismisses Mike and sees him as a geek, but she openly admits in "Creepop" that she finds him to be an awesome dancer at the class's end-of-semester party. She also appears to have a soft spot for romance since she finds Mike and Charlie to be adorable together, especially when she gets to see them about to begin their Valentine's Day date in "Rozamour".

Relationships[]

Jane[]

Katastroph 013

Jane is Stacy's twin sister and they're almost always seen together. The twins may seem like they have a lot in common because they tend to be in sync, including speaking in unison and sharing the same reactions, but "Meta&Lix" revealed that they are secretly different in terms of personality and interests. Stacy has no idea that Jane is secretly into modern arts and science, even to the point of questioning her sister why the latter would be at the American Museum of Natural History to see a bunch of "old stuff". She once denies to Andy that she and Jane aren't "joined at the hip" and states that their hips are independent, which is technically true since there are rare instances where Stacy is seen talking to either Charlie or Rajat without Jane by her side.

Jane once mentioned to Liv that her sister doesn't get that she likes different things and considering Stacy's bossiness, it is presumed the latter believes in the idea that being twins means they should be identical to each other; Stacy wants Jane to act exactly like her, but she seems to be frustrated of her sister only trying so hard to be mean. As seen in "Katastroph", Stacy was surprised when Jane cheered for Andy's team instead of Drake's because she thought they were both supposed to be supporting her crush. She even berated her sister for finding an "old, moldy" firecracker from their grandmother's garage to be used for a social media prank in "Kaboom".

Despite not understanding Jane's interests, Stacy truly cares about her sister and is shown multiple times to be protective of her. She would sometimes latch onto her and huddle in fear whenever the twins happened to encounter a ghost nearby. Unlike most people, she never finds Jane's fear of strawberries to be unusual and sympathizes with her whenever she happens to be near one. So, Stacy became furious at Andy for bringing a jar of strawberry jam to Charlie's breakfast potluck in "Jam Jam" without checking the class group text beforehand.

Charlie[]

Creepop 265

Charlie appears to be Stacy's only friend besides her twin sister. She and Jane are sometimes seen hanging out with Charlie at school and watching any latest content the latter posted on the Ghost Blog, mainly because the twins are interested in seeing Fury in action. However, Stacy appears to be surprisingly patient towards Charlie whenever the latter only talks about Krush and shows them footage of him, indicating that she values her friendship with the blogger and bond over their high appreciation towards their favorite Ghostforce members.

It's implied that Stacy is somewhat aware of Charlie's crush on Mike. In "Creepop", she was the one pointing out to Charlie that Mike was an awesome dancer at the end-of-semester party and indirectly encouraged her to be his partner. In "Batata", she was taken aback by Charlie defending Mike after the former scoffed at him for lacking any guts to set back Mr. Vladovsky's clock in his office. Stacy eventually found out about their mutual feelings in "Rozamour" and happily approved the pair going out on a Valentine's Day date.

Andy Baker/Fury[]

Meta&Lix 018

Stacy isn't fond of Andy and would regularly pick on him at school. While the reason for her hostility isn't stated, there is a heavy implication that it has something to do with the rivalry between Andy and Drake over being the star of the school's basketball team. And since Stacy serves as Drake's cheerleader, she would try to ridicule Andy whenever she gets a chance, even to the point of only addressing him by his last name much like how Drake normally does.[2]

In "Meta&Lix", Stacy called him a "geek" for always hanging out with Liv and Mike despite him being an athlete, and she didn't take kindly when he pointed out her hypocrisy of being "joined at the hips" with Jane. She laughs at Andy every time Drake belittles him in front of the class, as shown when Andy humiliates himself for his stench in "Trashotic" and is exposed for not being able to swim in "Vochaos".

However, Stacy sometimes finds Andy himself to be funny and once laughs at his joke at Drake's expense in "Mikroo". She was appreciative towards Andy for helping her and Jane with selling their first chocolate box during their class fundraiser in "Rozamour", showing that she was impressed by his juggling skills and could tolerate him whenever she set her hostility aside.

Scaregrow 127

Ironically, Stacy is a huge fan of Fury and would become excited whenever she gets a chance to meet him. She constantly asks him if she can take multiple selfies (or as she called them "ghostfies") with him, something she finally fulfills in "Scaregrow", and shows genuine appreciation every time he rescues her from a ghost attack. In "Xhypno", she unwittingly helped Fury stun the titular ghost by screaming very loudly and shattering all the crystals from its wings. Stacy is far from suspecting Fury to be secretly Andy, but she once came close to figuring it out in "Gumglue". While it was completely uncertain how Stacy felt about the possibility, she was left disappointed over the fact she couldn't expose the Ghostforce's secret identities and thought Andy couldn't be Fury after she and the rest of the class were tricked into thinking the Baker siblings were in the museum the entire time.

Meta&Lix 260

Liv Baker/Myst[]

Stacy barely has any on-screen interaction with Liv in the series, but the official Ghostforce website revealed that she finds her style not being "girly enough" and would pick on her for it. Stacy never ridicules Liv directly, though, since the latter won't give her a pass, unlike her brother.[2]

As revealed in "Meta&Lix", Stacy considers Liv and her two best friends to be a "geek clique" since she notices the trio is always seen hanging out with each other. She was offended upon learning that Liv and Jane visited the American Museum of Natural History for their morning assignment and thought Liv was the one dragging her twin sister to see a bunch of "old stuff", not knowing it was Jane who went to the museum by herself and happened to ran into her there. In "Ninja Ki", Stacy ignored the fact that Liv was in a bad mood and callously laughed at her for accidentally carrying Andy's smelly hot dog in her backpack to school.

Despite her attitude towards Liv, Stacy finds her to be a talented guitar player for the Boo Fighters. In "Mastaar", she was a spectator to the band's first stage performance at a talent show held at Central Park. When Liv strummed her guitar off-key twice because she was suffering from stage fright, Stacy initially thought she was terrible at playing and sarcastically remarked to Jane that she found Liv's music to be "lousier than her personality". However, after Liv overcame her anxiety, Stacy was seen cheering for her while the Boo Fighters all played their first song to the audience.

Arakgum 128

While it's unclear what is Stacy's perception towards Myst, she once interacted with the superheroine when she and Jane were caught by Arakgum in its titular episode. She was complaining to Jane about how the situation was worse than the time she got gum stuck in her hair, which Myst overheard and made a brief sarcastic remark directly towards her. Stacy was later seen ungratefully ignoring Myst after the Ghostforce captured Arak and the superheroine safely placed her back onto the ground.

Mike Collins/Krush[]

Batata 041

Stacy recognizes Mike as the son of the star basketball player Michael Collins, but she is completely indifferent towards him. She thinks of him as a "geek" for not only hanging out with the Baker siblings but also having an interest in science and technology, which is the opposite of what people would expect of him. She didn't even find him funny in "Jinjoke" since she was unimpressed by his failed attempt to make Charlie laugh. As a result, she would ignore Mike and instead openly respect his father more than him. This was seen in "Swip Swap" when Stacy and Jane were confused when Mike supposedly tried to charm them and promised that "he" would join them in their selfie pictures later, but upon being told that he was Mr. Collins in Mike's body because of the titular ghosts, the twins immediately listened to him and left the Collins alone.

Gumglue 185

In "Gumglue", Stacy was hoping to become famous if she and Jane could discover the Ghostforce's secret identities and expose them to the public. Shortly after the entire class noticed the Baker siblings were suddenly missing while Fury and Myst both happened to show up to the fight against Gumglue, Stacy suspected Mike might be Krush and was covering for them since he was having trouble telling a convincing lie about their whereabouts. She even filmed him as everyone began interrogating him, but was left disappointed when the Baker siblings returned just in time and claimed that they were hiding from a clutter of spiders that escaped from the terrarium earlier.

The first time Stacy was seen saying anything positive about Mike was in "Creepop" after she was impressed by his dance moves. She appears to know about Mike's crush on Charlie but she has never once seen teasing him for it. She was seen smiling when he asked Charlie out on a date in "Rozamour", indicating that she genuinely liked the idea of the two getting together.

Drake Miller[]

Meta&Lix 022

Stacy serves as Drake's cheerleader whenever he and Andy have a basketball match at the NYC Dunk, with "Meta&Lix" revealing that she has a one-sided attraction towards him. She was delighted upon learning that she and Drake were partners for Professor Pascal's morning assignment that she hugged him from behind, much to his discomfort. In "Graffurious", she commented that a graffiti artwork of Drake on the Kasenti Tower was as "swoon-worthy" as him.

Stacy appears to find Drake to be quite funny whenever he picks on the Baker siblings. However, despite that, she was seen laughing at Drake's expense in "Mikroo" after he was offered a ballerina figurine to represent himself for Mike's classroom diorama.

Carla[]

Despite the official Ghostforce website mentioning that Carla sees her as a friend, Stacy doesn't seem to feel the same way and instead finds her weird because of her eccentric way of thinking and being always optimistic.[2]

In "Grump King", Stacy was fascinated by a mysterious old chest Carla had found at Central Park and first thought it contained jewelry inside. However, after Carla revealed that the chest was connected to a legend about the "master of fears", Stacy became worried when the rest of her classmates all decided to release it later that night on a full moon.

Rajat[]

Gumglue 190

Stacy is mostly neutral towards Rajat despite they don't have a lot of on-screen interaction. She somewhat gets along with him since, in "Sharkoak", the two were briefly shown leaving class together and Stacy was heard asking him why everyone else was still in the hallways despite the school bell just rung. She and Jane even teamed up with him in "Gumglue" to expose Mike and the Baker siblings because they all suspected their three classmates might be members of the Ghostforce.

In "Kaboom", she and Jane chose Rajat as a target for their social media prank in which they were supposed to give him a cake with a firecracker disguised as a candle. The twins were unable to fulfill their prank, though, because Mr. Vladovsky intervened and confiscated the cake for breaking the rules of having food in the hallways.

In "Grump King", Stacy accidentally wore Rajat's glasses after he was startled by the titular ghost at the Baker residence.

Mr. Vladovsky[]

Like the rest of her classmates, Stacy is afraid of Mr. Vladovsky because he would constantly punish students for breaking the school rules. So, she sees him as a threat whenever she and Jane are causing any mischief outside of Professor Pascal's classroom.

Serge Lightman[]

Xhypno 016

Stacy is a fan of the actor playing Solar-Man for the upcoming blockbuster film of the same name. In "Xhypno", she visited the set at Central Park and took a selfie with him for her social media following. When she learned that one of the actresses walked out on the production crew on the day of the shooting, Stacy auditioned to take her place and successfully landed her role as a damsel-in-distress being rescued by Solar-Man. In the "Batata" comic story, Stacy cosplayed as him for the Z Heroes Comic Books convention.

Trivia[]

  • Stacy's name might be a reference to Gwen Stacy, one of Peter Parker/Spider-Man's love interests in Marvel Comics.

  • In the English dub, Stacy speaks in a Valley Girl accent.
  • Stacy has many similarities to Chloé Bourgeois from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, another ZAG Heroez series. However, compared to Chloé in terms of personality, Stacy doesn't take things too far when picking on her classmates and is somewhat on good terms with a few of them.
  • As revealed in "Xhypno", Stacy has the loudest scream that is capable of shattering glass. While it doesn't have the same frequency in other episodes, there have been instances where her scream has unintentionally caused a wild ghost to enter booster mode.
  • "Xhypno" is currently the only episode where Stacy appears without Jane.
  • In "Meta&Lix", Stacy has a distaste towards the American Museum of Natural History because she finds it is "full of old stuff".
  • As shown in "Biballoon", Stacy and Jane are implied to live in the same neighborhood as the Baker residence Both "Jinjoke" and "Kaboom" also revealed that the twins are living with their grandmother and a baby sister.
  • It is implied in "Scaregrow" that Stacy has an interest in gardening since she and Jane are both shown to be excited about growing their peach trees at Central Park.
  • "Grump King" reveals Stacy's worst fear is breaking out in pimples, presumably after her experience being infected by Sporofungus's toxic fume.
  • it is revealed in Meta&Lix that Stacy has a crush on Drake
