As Troublestretch[]

History[]
Season 1[]
At an unknown point in time, Stretchy found a blue rope at Central Park and began using it as a nest. In "Troublestretch", the rope was placed onto the shore of a pond. Stretchy was disturbed from its slumber when a seagull perched on the rope, spooking the bird into flying away but accidentally carrying it in the air with its webbed feet. After the seagull briefly ran into Andy Baker, it flew towards a nearby bush and perched onto a branch.
Later, Andy was so frustrated for not scoring a point at Charlie's Ghostforce pop quiz that he banged his head onto the buzzer, which unintentionally scared a nearby flock of seagulls into flying away. The seagull that was on the bush noticed the flock and wanted to follow them, but the rope was stuck onto the branch. The bird eventually let go of the rope that it was flung into the air and landed next to an old man who was sitting on a bench, awakening Stretchy in the process. The ghost then proceeded to terrorize the parkgoers by tying them up and feeding on their fear to gain Boo Energy. It eventually reached where the Ghostforce pop quiz was being held and scared away nearly all the participants there. When the three kids hid behind a table to avoid being seen, Liv accidentally dropped her lucky charm onto the ground and alerted Stretchy. Since it consumed enough Boo Energy, Stretchy immediately merged with the bracelet and became Troublestretch.
Troublestretch transformed many people at the park into metal bells before it left to attack the streets. The Ghostforce arrived and tried to neutralize its fists, but it managed to dodge their incoming attacks each time before it eventually Krush into a bell at 5th Avenue. It was about to strike Myst next, but Fury quickly shoved his sister out of the way, and Glowboo arrived to block Troublestretch's attack with his solar shield. It tried to break the solar shield with its fists, but Myst opened a spectral gate underneath Fury and Glowboo for the three remaining heroes to retreat. Troublestretch, wanting to deal with the Ghostforce later, headed south and encountered the Ghost Dog. A scared Roland tried to bribe the ghost into offering a discount for his meal, but it didn't care and mercilessly turned him into a bell.
Troublestretch arrived at Times Square, but the heroes also showed up to stop it. After Glowboo temporarily blinded it with his solar blast, Fury fired his flexible slime onto Troublestretch's fists and stuck it onto the street. The ghost didn't give up too soon, though, and used the bead on top of its head to attack the heroes. It managed to turn both Glowboo and Fury into bells, but Myst noticed the latter had fired a flexible slime into the air mere seconds before he was transformed. So, she opened a spectral gate and redirected the slime towards the ghost, successfully stunning it. Myst then released Octocat and deboosted Troublestretch back to its kawai mode before capturing it, restoring everyone in Manhattan to their normal form. Stretchy was later sent to the Ghost Cloud where it now resides with the other captive ghosts.
Abilities[]
- Levitation: Stretchy can levitate in its kawai and booster modes.
- Intangibility: Stretchy can phase through solid objects. The only exception is when it is trapped in the Ghost Cloud or one of the Boo Caps.
- Possession: As a merger ghost, Stretchy can gain additional powers by possessing objects. The only receptacle it was seen merged with was Liv's lucky charm.
Stretchy can fire strings from its limbs to tie up living beings. As Troublestretch, it can use either its fists or the bead on its head to transform any sentient being into a metal bell.

Trivia[]
- Stretchy's name alludes to the strings that covered its body and being from the flexible family.
- In the French version, the ghost's name is Filaffreux. It is a portmanteau of the French words "filandreux" and "affreux", meaning "stringy" and "awful".
- Ironically, Stretchy was awakened from its nest after the seagull briefly stretched the rope onto a branch.
- Stretchy is the third known ghost that has a teardrop-shaped face in its kawai mode, following Glups and Arak. Despite being from different ghost families, it's implied that the three specimens are closely related since they are all merger ghosts with the ability to trap human beings.
