"Trashotic" is a season 1 episode of the series, Ghostforce. According to the series' production/written order, it is the 2nd episode of Season 1, as well as the 2nd episode of the series, overall.
Synopsis[]
Our heroes must use their improvisational skills to protect New York from Trashotic, the gigantic rubbish ghost.
Plot[]
The episode begins at Grand Army Plaza with Tim Callaghan ordering a sandwich from Roland's Ghost Dog cart. Just as he is about to take a bite, a seagull snatches it and flies away with the sandwich. The seagull continues flying until it drops the sandwich and lands on top of a dumpster. As it was pecking on the sandwich to eat, green smoke starts to come out of the dumpster. The seagull got scared and fly away from the dumpster. Inside the dumpster was a pair of glowing green eyes.
At a movie set, Andy is practicing some lines as he wants to ask Carla, his crush, to go the Ferris wheel together. But he gets frustrated as the lines didn't seem cool enough. An actor who plays a superhero approaches Andy, excusing himself as he needs to prepare for the movie. Just as the actor puts on cologne, one of his fangirls pounces at him and kisses him on his face affectionately. Though disgust by this, this gives Andy an idea. So he takes the cologne and heads to school. Andy goes to an alleyway. He attempts to put cologne on him but nothing came out. After a few squirts and a few shakes, the cologne came out and sprayed him. Confident, he runs to school. Not knowing that a ghost was inside this dumpster.
Back at the movie set, the actor was flirting with his fangirls. Jay Baker and Melissa Baker was going to start the scene. However, Spong appeared and shoots out his green smog. Covering the movie set in the horrible stench. Mr. Baker pulls the lever to make the director's seats go above the smog. But Spong shoots out more smog at them. Meanwhile, at NYC school, Andy greets Mike. But Mike smells something foul which was coming from Andy. Andy tries to think something up, but Mike already knows about Andy's plans. He knows that Andy had used the actor's cologne so he can use it to ask Carla if she wants to go to the Ferris wheel after school. Just as he had said that, Liv and Carla were walking to school together. Panicked, Andy heads straight to the bathroom in order to check himself out before Carla sees him.
Somewhere in the streets of Manhattan, Spong spots Roland showing off his hot dog when Spong shoots out green smog. Causing everyone to run away as fast as possible. The hot dog inflates and Roland is sad about that. Meanwhile, at the school's boy's bathroom, Andy is looking at the mirror. Making sure that he looks good enough to see Carla. He then sees an air spray on the ground so he decides to spray it on himself so he can smell good. Back to Spong, it heads to the sewers of NYC where it begins consuming on the sewage below. After that, it shoots out green smog from its mouth which affects the city. At NYC school, Andy arrives at Professor Pascal's classroom. But the smell from both the cologne and the air spray made him smell foul. Drake jokes about this and everyone starts laughing at Drake's joke. Just then, a green smog comes out of the air vents. This causes everyone (except for the trio) to leave from the smell. Knowing that this was the work of the ghost, the trio transforms into their alter egos and head out to find the ghost.
As they were flying through the city, Myst complains about Fury's smell. So Fury has to go behind them because of it. Miss Jones appears and explains to the Ghostforce team about Spong. Knowing that the ghost is attracted to anything foul, they decide to use Fury as bait. At the sewers, Fury is standing around. Not impressed that Myst and Krush would use him as bait to get Spong out of hiding. It worked however. Once Spong appears, the three try to attack it. But the ghost blows them away with its smog. Throwing them straight through the wall. Spong is now at the surface where it destroyed some flowers. It then found a dumpster full of trash. So it immediately jump inside the dumpster to eat it.
The Ghostforce team arrived at the surface. Looking to see where Spong went off to. They eventually found the ghost inside the dumpster. Fury pulls it out but him and the others get blown away by Spong. The ghost transforms into its booster form after it ate enough garbage and it's now known as Trashotic. It then shoots out a green sludge from its arm. Hitting Fury in the process. So Myst and Krush attempts to stop Trashotic. Myst distracts Trashotic while Krush hits it with his double hammer. But he gets hit by Trashotic who tries to step on him. Liv summons a portal to protect Krush. But this causes her to become tired due to losing so much Boo Energy. Fury throws the sludge at Trashotic to get its attention away from Myst and Krush. Trashotic shoots out a sludge ball which Fury was able to reflect it with his shield. But it missed and ends up hitting Ferris wheel. Fury became distraught because he and Carla was supposed to go there together. Myst hears this and figures out that Andy wants to go to the Ferris wheel with Carla. Which is the reason why he had put on the cologne and the air spray. But Andy tries to deny it but Myst didn't fall for it.
Krush stops them and gives them an idea. They should use the cologne and the air spray together to stop Trashotic. So they put the plan in action. Krush creates an ice barrier to not let Trashotic move. Fury shoots out green slime from his hands to pull it down. He then throws the cologne and the air spray up in the air in front of Trashotic. Myst shoots out her arrow and it causes a huge explosion. The green smog gets pushed away. Trashotic reverts back to its Basic Form and Fury catches it. At the underground laboratory, Spong is transferred to the Ectocloud where it will be staying for now on. She congratulates the Ghostforce team for a job well done. The three smell something foul. So Liv and Mike sniff Andy if he smells foul. But the smell was coming from a test tube which has green slime inside it.
A little while later, Liv and Carla are chatting. Mike gives Andy a go and Andy approaches the two. Andy nervously asked Carla if she wants to go to the Ferris wheel with him. Carla says she'd loves to, but that the Feeris wheel is closed because of the ghost and it will take a century to clean it out. She then says she also needs a new coat and then leaves. Andy thinks this means he'll go on a date with her in a century and celebrates, ending the episode.

Trivia[]
- The name of the ghost featured in this episode is Spong, but it's called Trashotic when in booster mode. Because of this, this is the first episode where it uses the ghost's alternative name for the title.
- This episode revealed that the girl with the teal hair is named Carla. It's also revealed that Andy has a crush on her.
- This is the first appearance of the parents of Andy and Liv. The episode also revealed that Mr. and Mrs. Baker are film directors who are working Solar-Man: The Movie with Serge Lightman. A recurring gag throughout the season is that a wild ghost would interrupt the filming process with its attacks.
- When Andy rushes inside the school after he realizes how smelly he is and does not want Carla to notice him, Drake and Marlo can be seen sitting on the stairs of the school entrance. They both notice Andy running past and turn to look at him after smelling his scent.
- In addition, Mike breaks the fourth wall by looking at the audience out of surprise.
- This is the first episode that features a unique chibi transition. This occurs after Trashotic stinks up Roland's Ghost Dog stand and before the scene shows Andy in the school bathroom. Instead of featuring the Ghostforce trio's faces, the scene transition features them in the school hallway where they're showing each other the inside of their lockers.
- Bobby can be sleeping in the classroom when Andy arrives and doesn't smell his stench. He is later seen waking up after smelling Spong's smog from the air vent and follows his classmates out.
- This is the second episode where none of the Ghostforce members summon their respective ghosts to use their power to weaken a wild ghost, following "Bananice".
- This episode reveals that the Boo Caps containing a wild ghost is inserted inside a large console, which then transfers the ghost from the capsule to a small cage called the Ghost Cloud.
- This is the first appearance of Glups, Miss Jones' ghost companion. Although, his name isn't revealed until "Glougloux".
