The underground laboratory is a secret location that serves as the headquarters for the Ghostforce. It was built underneath the NYC school at West 59th Street.
Appearance[]
Console room[]

The console room is the most commonly used area in the lab. It is where Miss Jones supervises the kids and performs her Boo Energy experiments. It is a large circular room with hexagonal wall panels. The panels serve as the room's light source and can change colors.
The room has three warp devices with a color-coded Ghostforce emblem for the following members; pink for Liv, green for Andy, and blue for Mike. Only the kids can enter the console room via one of the three Ghostforce lockers that are located at their school. If they want to exit the lab, they must use the same device to warp back up to their respective lockers.

There is a Boo Energy recharging device where it is mainly used for the kids to refuel their medallions with their respective tamed ghosts before their next mission. However, the top surface of the device can be used for other purposes. As revealed in "Hypnolion", the device is connected to the console. It can levitate into the air, but it would drop onto the floor if a sudden glitch occurs.
At the center of the room is the Ghost Cloud, a giant cage connected to the computer console where a hundred wild ghosts are being stored. As revealed in "Ninja Ki", Miss Jones would regularly change the router to keep the console on at all times.
There is a wide worktable with various science equipment that Miss Jones uses for her Boo Energy experiments. The room also has a display rack where she would place the test tubes.
There are three different doors in the console room that lead to the lab's hallways. The doors are colored gray with a giant Ghostforce emblem at the front. The Boo Fridge was only seen in "Pharaok" and it was placed near the north door.
Training room[]

This room is where the second iteration of the Ghostforce would practice training to learn how to use their powers and weapons against a wild ghost. It is a large circular room with rectangular wall tiles and large hexagonal floor tiles.
At the west of the room is a wide computer console that is primarily used to either start a training session or load a Boo Technology gadget with a ghost's Boo Energy.

At the north of the room is where the Ghostforce displays a large collection of Boo Technology weapons and gadgets. The most notable include three Viseo-Ghosts, seven pairs of the Ghost Gauntlets, an extra Spectral Bow, an extra Flexy Beam, an extra Fractal Mace, the Freonic Ghost Blaster in "Jellystery", and an unnamed pairs of shoes in "Dunky Boss".
At the center of the room is a large teleportation device that is primarily used by the kids to enter a simulation room. Glowboo's recharge station is normally placed on the east side of the room, but Miss Jones would often move it around the lab if necessary.
Garage[]

The garage is where Miss Jones places the Ghost Car. It is a large circular room with hexagonal wall panels and a floor that has a long front edge.
There is a computer console near the left edge of the floor that is primarily used to activate a transportation portal. Said portal is being placed right across the room that can allow anyone to be teleported to a specific location in Manhattan.
Below the floor is a large pool of blue substance (presumably Boo Energy) with six hexagonal platforms. As demonstrated in "Jellystery", one of the platforms can rise to manifest the Ghost Car. It is presumed that the rest of the platforms can be used to form a structure that can allow an individual to easily walk to the transportation portal without having to fly or jump towards it.
Unnamed fourth room[]
Because the console room has three doors, there is a confirmed fourth room in the lab. However, it is currently unknown what that room is for.
History[]
Pre-Series[]
The underground laboratory was built as a hideout for the Ghostforce when it originally consisted of Miss Jones and her partner Carpenter. However, following the incident that resulted in Carpenter's capture and Miss Jones becoming a half-ghost, the latter began self-isolating in the hideout to prevent herself from scaring anyone with her physical appearance and/or chaotic powers. She converted the hideout into a lab where she would study herself and develop new Boo Technology gadgets to deal with her handicap. She also tamed and befriended a viscous ghost named Glups who's currently keeping her company during her isolation.[1]
Season 1[]
While the details of "Origins" haven't been revealed yet, it's heavily implied that Andy Baker, Liv Baker, and Mike Collins eventually discovered the lab and met Miss Jones. They were later recruited by her to form the second iteration of the Ghostforce after Manhattan became haunted again by ghosts. Since then, the lab serves as the headquarters for the team where Miss Jones would supervise the kids and invent Boo Technology weapons that can help them with their missions.
In "Pharaok", the titular ghost released a heatwave all over New York City that exhausted both Miss Jones's and Glups's Boo Energy. So, they locked themselves inside the Boo Fridge to cool themselves down until the kids captured Pharaok.
As of the events of "Raijin", Glowboo began living in the lab after Miss Jones finished building him.
In "Chronoklok", the titular ghost froze everyone inside the lab after creating a giant timestop bubble at the NYC school. This prevented Miss Jones from sending Glowboo as backup for the kids until after they already captured the ghost.
In "Jellystery", the console room briefly lost power because of the Ghost Car triggering an electromagnetic pulse in the garage.
In "Glougloux", the kids accidentally caused the titular ghost to escape from the lab while Miss Jones was asleep.
In "Scream Scratch", Andy unwittingly brought the titular ghost's nest into the garage while dogsitting Asta. When he, Liv, and Mike all later left the lab for Michael Collins's Dragon Venom launch campaign, this indirectly led to Asta dropping the nest onto the floor and awakening Scream Scratch. The ghost then escaped from the lab after it caused Miss Jones to become itchy and activated the teleportation portal.
In "Levisfer", the entire lab was lifted into the air by the titular ghost during its attack at lower and midtown Manhattan.
In "Hypnolion", Andy accidentally spilled his smoothie onto the console and caused the console room to lose power. While the kids were out hunting Hypnolion, Miss Jones cleaned up the spill and later did a Boo Energy sample analysis by herself.
In "Dunky Boss", Mike took Bouncee and a pair of Boo Technology shoes out of the lab so he could participate in the junior slam dunk competition and win a day with his father.
In "Jellyjack", Glups unintentionally escaped from the lab while he was chasing after a scaryball (fired by Liv) in the garage and went through the teleportation portal.
The day before "Ninja Ki", Miss Jones changed the router for the console room because of a glitch. She was later irritated when another glitch occurred right after the team placed Ninja Ki in the Ghost Cloud.
Specials[]
In "Grump King", Miss Jones leaves the lab for the first time in years so she can rescue Andy after he got separated from his medallion by the titular ghost.

Trivia[]
- The lab being a secret headquarters underneath a school is a remnant of the original concept for the series when it was in pre-production. Early pieces of concept art depicted the lab belonging to a scrapped character named Professor Richenbach, a science teacher who was the one recruiting the main trio to form the Ghostforce. Professor Richenbach was later replaced by Miss Jones in the final version of the series. However, since Miss Jones isn't a teacher and the Ghostforce has been around for years, it's entirely convenient that the lab is underneath a school that the kids happen to be currently attending.
- As revealed in two pieces of concept art, one of the proposed secret entrances to the lab was a tunnel at Central Park.[2][3]
- The console room appears in every episode title card of the series.
- "Bananice", "Burghorror", and "Cookieflame" are the only episodes where the lab is only seen during a video call on the ghostphone.
- The interior of the lab isn't able to withstand Boo Energy. As a result, there have been a few incidents where a wild ghost from the outside world indirectly affected the residents with its powers. However, it is currently unknown if the walls are impenetrable since there isn't any ghost seen phasing right through them.
- Glougloux and Scream Scratch were the only known wild ghosts who were briefly loose in the lab and used their powers to escape. Glougloux got teleported out of the training simulation room, while Scream Scratch was awakened from its nest in the garage.
- "Jellystery" and "Hypnolion" are the only episodes where the console room briefly loses powers.
- As of "Scream Scratch", Asta is currently the only non-member of the Ghostforce who knows about the lab's existence. Because he is a dog, Asta can maintain the secret for the team and not tell anybody about it.
- As revealed in "Hypnolion", Miss Jones didn't establish a rule for the kids to not allow drinks in the lab. This is understandable since she once drank a smoothie in "Gmagicard", so she presumed everyone was careful enough not to spill anything onto the console.
